I posted this same review about Mr. Jezarian at the Kramer Bros. Yelp page because he runs both businesses. I also wanted to post this review because the jewelry business is a complicated and expensive mystery to most of us and what is most important is trust, which of course is a challenge when you've not worked with someone before, or if you don't buy jewelry often and never develop a relationship with anyone. But I trust our insurance agent so I decided to trust Gregory Jezarian. I am so very glad that I did. He is extremely smart and knowledgeable about the jewelry business and marketplace, and he did a thoughtful and transparent appraisal of my jewelry, some of which I've owned for many years. He also understands the insurance business and knew how to prepare the appraisal so that it was a document useful to both me and my insurance company. Being so happy with the appraisal, I also asked Gregory to help me sell some pieces, and repair and polish others. He also sells jewelry, and is particularly expert in diamonds and pearls. Overall, it was one of the best consumer experiences I had had in a long time and I would recommend Gregory Jezarian to anyone with any kind of jewelry needs. He is also a lovely person, made me feel comfortable in our transactions, and taught me a great deal about the jewelry I own and its condition and value. Highly recommended.

Instead, a lovely woman wearing a magnifying mask greeted me and gave me a tour of her showroom and workspace. Donna graciously took my finger size and did not try to do any sales pitch but her work was so beautiful that I definitely wanted to know more. She draws a lot of inspiration from Rennaissance art and architecture and her pieces have a distinctly old-world feel with unparalleled craftsmanship and attention to detail. At first, the rings couldn't be located, but she thoughtfully offered similar styles while checking in with the team. Fortunately, they found them and I was ecstatic. While Sadie didn't quite capture me the same way (I had bought a similar style years ago), Carly absolutely did. Ella was patient, never rushed me, and gave me the space to make the right decision. A few days later, I returned and chose Carly. Separately, I also sold some gold jewelry with Christina's help. Although there was a mix-up in the final valuation, she resolved it immediately. She also went above and beyond in helping me sort through jewelry my parents had given me, guiding me on which pieces were costume, which were worth keeping, and which might be good for repurposing. Their location may not be the easiest to find, since it is on the second floor, but it is close enough to the edge of the Diamond District that you won't have to bob and weave past all the people trying to sell or buy jewelry before getting to the building. Pro-Tip: they have a camera trained at the door to the office, just go to the door and they'll buzz you in. I stood outside for two minutes and double-checked the address before opening the door into an office that is much nicer than the hallway and staircase just outside. I was a walk-in and was helped immediately. He looked over the item and I walked out 10 minutes later with the certificate, printed and laminated on the spot. I was able to download a digital copy for my insurance company the next day using the appraisal number on their site. Painless.
