I came here to get a new battery for my vintage watch, along with a resizing. Kevin was so quick -- I was in and out in around 5 minutes. Best of all, it was only $10! Definitely recommend coming here.

30 year old Citizen watch that hasn't worked for years; Mr. Jun replaced the battery & got it working again

I'm so glad I found Broadway Watch Repair through the great reviews on Yelp. I took four watches to Mr. Jun in November and he was able to replace the batteries in all four and get them working. The oldest is an almost 30 year-old Citizen watch that I had tried a few times throughout the years to have the battery replaced on. I had no success because of the type of back it has and the possibility of damaging it. Mr. Jun started with that watch and after a few shakes of the head and trying different tools and methods, he was able to get it running again. The other three watches were around 15-20 years old and those were easier for him to replace batteries on. He charged a very reasonable amount, and I gave him a tip as others suggested. In December, we returned to him to shorten the gold band on two watches we bought for Christmas. He removed links and had us try them on a few times to get them just right. I can't recommend him enough.

Without a doubt, the best and most affordable watch repair I have found anywhere in the world. The genial Korean runs his meticulous business out of a tiny stall and counter space a couple of blocks South of Macy's. He has repaired 3 different watches for me. One, a Seiko automatic chronometer, one antique ladies watch which required parts for a movement no larger than your little fingernail, and a Skelton pocket watch. None of the repairs cost more than $25 to complete

Very pleasant experience with Mr. Jun - brought in a watch that stopped working and probably needed a battery change. He diagnosed the issue (water damage), replaced the batteries and helped me swap out the band with replacements I had brought with me. Took all about 8 minutes and $13! He was very nice and he seemed satisfied when the watch was working again.

My grandma gave me her vintage Gucci watch a while ago and I finally got the battery changed today! Let me tell you why I'm really happy though. I was a little wary about going to a repair shop cuz my grandma made me think everyone's a con man. And I was afraid they'd ruin it since it us such a sentimental item to me. But since I had to I found this place nearby me. I got lost trying to find this place though cuz his teeny tiny booth is located at the back of a perfume shop. He is this elderly mechanic who you can tell has been doing this all his life and although we didn't talk much I could tell he is a super honest person. He was so careful and skillful with how he handled my watch and he finished everything under 4 minutes! AND his service was so affordable. Made my day!

I happened to be in Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan today, so I ran over to Grand Central Watch to get an estimate. I was really upset because my wife bought me this watch on vacation years ago, so there is a sentimental attachment to it. The owner saw that I was stressed out and she looked at it, turned around, fixed it in about a minute and handed the watch back to me. I was really nervous because I didn't know how much it was going to cost. I asked: "How much is the repair?" She replied, " There is no charge. Just leave me a review on Google." I couldn't believe it. I didn't know there was any place left on earth like that. How could I not leave a review after that? Five stars!!!!!!!
