It is crazy to me that the owners of this course do nothing year after year to improve the conditions. We return every year in hopes that they fix the place but it's the same run down mini golf every year. The turf is ripped on every hole, there is mold and mildew, weeds, you name it! The last time I played mini golf here was when my grandmother took me here in the Middle 1960's. It hasn't changed since. Too bad the owners haven't put a dime back into the course. The putting surfaces are moldy and need to be replaced . Structures need to be repaired and repainted. The layout was cute and challenging and it was a fun evening. CONS: (1) So I'm not the Rory McIlroy of mini golf or anything, but I feel like I know enough to say that this is a pretty poorly constructed course. (2) In places it appears that the artificial turf may actually be just really bushy black mold. (3) (Trigger warning!) There are some VERY sinister lawn gnomes. PROS: (1) It's $7.50 per person, which seems... not unreasonable? (2) The clubs are new... (3) ...But otherwise it's OLD AS HECK, and weird old things are fun! read more

This is definitely the most neglected mini golf course I've been to. Dry rotting wood, astroturf that hasn't been replaced in years, and decaying bricks. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to revamp this place. That said, it's still a playable minigolf course, I'm glad it's here. read more

We've been playing at Drossos for several years during our annual vacation trips to Greenport. The Minigolf fees keep going up but they do absolutely nothing to improve the condition of the course. I love the vintage feel but the course is in total disrepair with holes or mold in the turf, crumbling structures, and haunting gnomes. Most of the holes have serious issues - the cannon hole is literally falling apart, flaking paint etc. Just some minor repairs would improve the place...do the owners care about improving it? We were cracking up at how bad the overall condition of the course is. For $10 a person, maybe a new coat of paint? read more

Brought our 2 kids here recently (3 and 5 years old) for a quick game of mini golf and to grab some takeout for dinner from Jennies at Drossos (the snack bar next to the course). It was the kids' first time playing mini golf and they had an absolute blast! Was also our first time to both the golf course and snack bar. Bear in mind this course is not Hamptons-esque in the least. The course and snack bar remind me of something from simpler times. It has a Midwestern small town feel to it and for that reason alone I personally would prefer to come here as opposed to a fancier course somewhere else. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The course is straightforward which made it perfect for the little ones. They have a few coin operated rides out front which they loved (bring quarters). It was a great place to show them basics like holding the golf club and putting. They also won a free game by getting their ball in the clowns nose on the 18th hole and now they can't wait to go back! In all I think it took us around an hour or so to roll through the course, which involved multiple restarts and "do overs" on several holes. Bear in mind the golf fee is $7.50 per player and is cash only. There is an ATM on site but you should just bring cash if you don't want to pay the fee. Food at the snack bar can be paid with credit card. No alcohol. Speaking of the snack bar...We grabbed takeout from Jennie's on our way out. The chicken sandwich was great and my wife loved her salad. Kids got hot dogs and fries which they enjoyed as well. They offer ice cream and smoothies in addition to a short menu of snack bar items. If you are a serious mini golfer (lol) this course may leave a little to be desired but for a nice and relaxing time out, Drossos is great. We will be back for sure. read more

Apparently this place is also called Tick Tock Mini Golf to clear up any confusion. This is a vintage mini golf course. I felt like I was in a time warp in the worst way possible. Very small course which wasn't taken care of while I was here. From the faucet near a utility shed constantly dripping water, to the final hole smelling of putrid urine because of its location to the bathroom, I was disappointed to say the least. I don't know if maintenance was lacking because of the pandemic or just out of pure negligence, but it was run down. It looks like this place has needed serious renovations for a few years now. This has potential to be a nice course for small children. The holes aren't challenging for older kids/adults. Yes it could be a fun day out, but I would rather go to so many other courses that are well maintained. For 2 people it was $15 which isn't a killer. I just thought the overall experience was lacking. Masks were required when purchasing the mini golf but weren't enforced on the course. This place is so unpopular that on a Sunday evening, it was almost empty. Plenty of parking. Overall, skip it! read more

SO.CUTE! When my husband and I planned a day trip to Greenport, stumbled upon this place on Yelp, and bookmarked it in case we wanted to stop for golf on our trip. We ended up passing it when heading into Greenport, and I knew that I wanted to play. This course is sooo cute and so much fun to play. We loved how interactive each hole was and we really just had such a good time here. Def recommend! read more

It's not easy to find old school, rustic courses like this anymore. Most mini golf courses nowadays are made of pre-assembled plastic parts and, while they make for more precise putting, the overall experience is somehow devoid and cheap, like a strip steak in a strip club in a strip mall - oh snap! Comparatively, Drossos is more innocent and sweet, the sort of mini golf course you'd like to take home and introduce to mom and dad, or vice versa. The course is a full 18 holes - the last hole is a clown face target with a free round prize. They have a full snack bar with things like corn dogs, fried chicken baskets and soft serve. Several years ago they bought all the games of a local arcade that went out of business. In addition to all this a cool new thrift store opened up in the front. Drossos has been a source of fun my whole life and it would make me very happy if I could take my future kids here one day - taking for granted that nothing about the course changes, as it hasn't thus far. read more

We came at 5:20, because the website says they are open until 8. We usually enjoy coming here however this experience was unpleasant. When we walked up a woman "let us know" that she was cleaning the machines and getting ready to close, however she's letting the people there finish their game. So i asked if we would have to pay full price because we wouldnt be able to finish the game. She was very rude and said obviously we would have to. So then I explained that the website says they are open until 8, and that maybe she should change that, because we dont live close. And she replied with well it should be updated but that doesnt mean we have to. So we left. Wont be coming back. Needs nicer staff. read more

I've been going to Drossos since 1978. I've got a wee bit more gray hair now, but Drossos itself is virtually unchanged. That is a good thing. It's old school, but not run-down or poorly maintained. The minature golf course includes old favorites like the cannon, the lighthouse, the loop-the-loop and, my personal favorite the cash register -- at least that's what I think it is. I still love it, and I think my kids love it more. I'm so happy that I can literally lift a complete snapshot of my own childhood and have my children experience it in the exact same way I did. That said, if you are there on a summer night, bring mosquito repellant. The bugs can be murder there. Don't forget the ice cream. I've always been partial to the rootbeer floats. Yup -- they still serve 'em. Yay! read more

My family has been coming here for over 35 years. We've probably given them thousands and thousands of dollars worth of business over the years. However, after calling and being told they were closing at "9-9:30" we headed over at 8:10. We drove 25 minutes to get there and arrived at 8:35. The girl at the desk denies us entry to play. We asked why and she said "we close at 8:15." I told her that I was told otherwise so id like to speak to her manager. The manager came and we were met with even more rude comments and service. I have never been more disappointed with them. She told us "the last tee-off is at 8:15". Well, that would have been good to know when we called. We offered to speed through the course and she said no. We told her, generally the customer can visit the store or business until it is closed. She countered by saying that in her experience, we were wrong. I'm not sure if they were having a bad day, but I would like to see the service improved before I come back.
