The hotel has one working elevator for weeks and that one is a little slow & wobbly. I ended up using the stairs from the 5th floor. They also offer a lite dinner and full breakfast. Both are fine. read more

The place is a dump. Construction workers and trucks everywhere in the parking lot. The rooms smell like smoke. There isn't any bathtubs only showers. The carpet is similar to indoor/outdoor carpet. This is not a typical Drury Inn. So sad. This location hurts their brand. read more

Amazing front desk and excellent service for my 2 dogs and I! Walked in at 7am and Claire was able to accommodate my dogs and I. She put us on the first floor, right next to the doggie area. Room: Super clean and well kept. Fitness Room: Small, but has 3 new ellipticals (touchscreen), 2 treadmills and free weights. All very clean and the room has a TV, Water machine and towels. I ended up using the fitness room 2x once in the morning when I got in and once after dinner. Complimentary Breakfast and Dinner: Eggs Sausage, Cereal, Fruits, Potatoes and drink. It's free so, I had no complaints. I am also vegetarian so they had just enough for me. Doggie area: Very large grassy area in the rear of the hotel and they also provide poop bags. Location: It is next door to Steak and Shake, Olive Garden, a taco join and a steakhouse. All surrounding the hotel and 2 mins to walk to. Safety: Lots of visitors and lots of traffic. Felt super safe at all times. Building: Looks like any other Drury Inn nothing special from the outside. Cost: Stayed for over 24 hours and room was less than $90. DEAL :-) read more

Note: This hotel was built in 1997 & was renovated in 2013. They said it was supposed to be renovated again in 2020 but postponed due to the pandemic. We stayed in room 420, about two-thirds of the length of the building from the front desk. The internet connectivity is terrible... very weak to no signal when trying to use my laptop in my room. I took my laptop out into the hall & walked toward the front of the hotel where it finally connected. I would recommend booking a room closer to the front of the hotel where the signal strength is greater. The same situation happened to me at the Holiday Inn in Taylorville, IL & was able to change rooms. It's aggravating when you have unpacked everything & later after settling in find out you can't connect to their internet. First morning at breakfast, the gravy for the biscuits was watery. The second morning was what should be expected. First evening the dinner was great. The pics posted are from dinner on the second evening we were there... fried rice with chicken, broccoli & salad. More stalk chunks with hardly any broccoli florets (see pics). Time to update their internet service & rethink their dinner menu or find a new supplier. read more

It was a $91/night stay for a last minute room on a Friday. The price included much more than a room! Beer, wine and mixed drinks (3 included per adult per room during happy hour), dinner option -- during our stay it was tacos -- popcorn and soda free all night, a heated indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, business center and then a FULL breakfast the next morning. I'm talking biscuit and gravy and sausage and scrambled eggs and granola and cereal and fresh made waffles and pastry options. Juice and coffee and fresh fruit. Eat in the oversized dining room in front of the picture windows or take your plate back to the room for breakfast in bed! Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Not luxury in term of pillows and mattress comfort, but just perfect for a couple night stay. And you can't be the price! The extras certainly don't cost extra at this hotel! read more

Hotel is very clean. It shows signs of aging but it's very clean. Service is great. Rooms are very quiet. Breakfast is decent and good. 5:30 appetizers are okay. We didn't really eat appetizers other than nachos. The Food service does a really good job and are friendly. Coffee is way too strong! We will stay here again when in Springfield. read more

I had a nice stay at the Drury Inn for a work trip. There is only one complaint that kept this from a 5-Star review which I will address first. The headboards on the bed are not screwed to the wall securely so any time I barely moved on the bed it "knocked" on the wall. It was not only annoying for me, but I worried it was probably annoying the neighbors as well. It woke me up as I moved around during the night. When I talked to a colleague, they said theirs did the same thing so I assume it is a bigger issue than just one room. That being said, everything else was enjoyable. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very nice. I did not feel cramped during my stay and there is a nice closet and vanity outside of the actual bathroom and shower. There is a seating area as well. In the main lobby there are plenty of tables and couches to sit and do work at. There is a little "market store" to get snacks, water or other essentials. Unlike other hotels, the thermostat worked well and I was able to get my room to a comfortable temperature with no issue at all. Their is complimentary popcorn in the evenings and a great free breakfast during the day with nice coffee. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits gravy, breakfast potatoes, a waffle maker and a variety of dry cereals and other continental breakfast items like bagels, english muffins, yogurt, etc. If they can address the headboard issue this would be the perfect stay! read more

I don't understand the "this place is so dated" mentality. This is Missouri after all and the Drury is one of the best mid range hotels in the state. They are by and large, friendly and professional. The rooms are always super clean, the beds very comfortable and the pillows are always fat and fluffy. You get a card for 3 free drinks during happy hour, free decent dinner apps and a very good, free breakfast. The morning I was there, an ice storm had made Springfield a skating rink and a lady who was getting ready to leave, was afraid of the slippery parking lot. The young lady at the counter offered 5o help the lady get to the car or even drive her car to the front door. Very nice. I'm NEVER disappointed with a stay at the Drury and this location was no different. Btw, 6our furry friends are welcome! read more

First things first, Kristen is amazing. Today I checked in around 11 pm with my mom. We're in town for a funeral, we're here for three nights, and we used a 3rd party to book a 2bed room. (I don't recommend using Booking.com) When I checked in, I was told that the room I was "guaranteed" by said vendor ... didn't exist, they had been over sold. I understand, it happens. She was going to move us to a King suite with a jacuzzi for the same cost. Cool. Not what we truly needed.. Mom's currently injured, she had a bad fall today, but it would do. But .. then she found out that that room wasn't going to work since it wasn't available on Friday. She dilligently called around to -every- hotel in the local area, and a few that were farther out, but nope, none of the hotels had what we needed: A 2 queen room, Non Smoking for 3 nights. She thought I was going to be mad. HARDLY! She demonstrated what it was to go above and beyond in Customer Service. Whether or not I like the hotel right now is moot.. I like Kristen. She was -awesome- and that bodes well for Drury inns. read more

Drury inn in Springfield MO clean comfortable room. Shower was good with hot water and a rain shower head. Indoor/outdoor pool with a nice outdoor sitting area. Large breakfast/kickback space. For kickback tonight we had choices of salad, corn chips, pulled pork, baked potatoes, cooked veggies, chicken soup, and other condiments. And three free alcoholic drinks: mixed, beer. Breakfast the next morning was typical scrambled eggs, sausage patties which were good, biscuits gravy potatoes, a variety of dry cereals, cooked oatmeal better than instant, yogurt, fresh fruits, and some bakery items. read more

We typically LOVE Drury's but you could tell this one was a lot older. I don't know what it is about it, but it just wasn't fancy like all of the other Drury's we stayed it. Everyone who worked there during our stay were so nice though! read more

First off, the GM at this hotel was total scum. He was beyond rude. The other employees, however, were extremely pleasant and very helpful during our stay. Our rooms were adequate and the food service was decent but let me get to the part that's the most disturbing! On the morning we were leaving, turns out some jerks decided to vandalize 10 (TEN!) vehicles in the hotel's parking lot by smashing in their windows. TEN CARS! And what did the hotel do? Absolutely nothing. When I stepped out of the hotel with my bags, the SOB General Manager had this dumb smirk on his face like "oOOooo, it might've been your carrrrrrrr." Well, it wasn't my car, but the vandalism did happen to a very good friend of mine. The hotel didn't even call the police! All they did was take out the shards, wrapped the window and forced her home. Turns out they didn't have any cameras equipped outside and it was not the first time it's happened at their hotel! WTF! Yelpers, please reconsider if you plan on staying here. You do not want this happening to your car, or worse, your rental! read more

This was an old hotel that they put a new face on the front to make it look new. Must of been an old Hampton Inn or something it was not new at all. All these hotels do the same thing they make the front entrance look good but when you go inside it's all downhill. So of course because of the Covid no breakfast buffet or anything ... these hotels seem to be taking advantage of the virus and closing up everything. The rooms were very average and plain kind of depressing if you ask me. The area was really seedy where the hotel was the whole strip was an area I would not want to stay more than one night. Usually, I love Drury Inn & Suites, but this hotel is not of them. It's a dated hotel, has free food... but everything taste old and stale. There must be crime since it was a big hassle to get a second key made. Only one scripted young dude who took 20 mins to check in the people in front of me. I had my hands full of luggage and the guy made me wait forever...even after asking politely if I could just have a key made quickly to set down my luggage. After driving from out of town the last thing I want to deal with is someone slow and unhelpful. But then he made me dig through my bags to find my ID while he flipped through his records. The rooms feel claustrophobic, with only one small window and a small bathroom area. Customer service should be more considerate and the hotel definitely needs some upgrades. read more

When you walk in it looks like a really nice hotel but when we got to our room it had a bad odor. The beds and pillows are both hard. We got the whirlpool suit and the jets are so weak it does no good. Would not stay here again. read more

My wife, daughter (14yo), and I traveled to Springfield, Mo. for a volleyball tournament and stayed at the Drury Inn & Suites (2715 N Glenstone) on 01-27-2017, and 01-28-2017. The hotel is somewhat dated, with very slow elevators (seriously....it is quicker to walk 4 flights of stairs than to take the elevator with not stops to the 4th floor), and dated rooms. The hotel is passable, but definitely not on the "finer" side of things. The thing that left me questioning the hotel the most was that they do not serve breakfast until 7am on Saturday and Sunday........this was a first for me and left me a bit perplexed. It also left a crowd circling like vultures at 6:50am waiting for breakfast. This hotel also offers "free food and drinks" in the evening. The food is microwaved kids fare, such as hot dogs, chili, nachos, and free mini drinks. After perusing the buffet, we did not want to chance it so we walked across to a local BBQ restaurant and were very glad we did. In the end, the rooms were dated but clean and they did have free wifi. The walls were thin and the elevators slow. There are plenty of other hotels in the area and I think i would check one of them out before staying at this one. read more

Staff was super helpful. After being denied our reservation for being under 21 at another hotel they were willing to give us a room. Not only did they give us a room but they also gave me information for booking.com to try and get my money back. The lady at the front desk was our guardian angel that night. Breakfast on Sunday started at 7 and was waffles, scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits & gravy, muffins, bagels, cold cereals, and oatmeal. Went above and beyond expectations. I booked the family suite for $80 a night (used a corporate code) and had a free upgrade coupon I printed from the internet. Breakfast was amazing along with 5:30 dinner and 3 free adult drinks. The staff was great helped me with the kids. Pleasant and clean room, comfy beds and pillows (with extra pillows and blankets provided), good temperature control, microwave and mini fridge, good shower head and water pressure, good complimentary breakfast, and free wifi. Pretty much everything I'm looking for at a hotel. My one recommendation is to provide a TV channel guide, since the remote moves through the channels quite slowly and the channel information doesn't always display on the screen. read more

Pillows had much to be desired - way too soft. I was impressed with complimentary dinner and breakfast service. The food wasn't the highest quality, of course, but there were a lot of options. The Drury family has always taken pride in giving an exceptional experience at a value. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Drury previously and was charmed by him and his business ethics. But this was the first time that I stayed in one of his hotels, and It was easy to see the same honesty, integrity, and courtesy of Mr. Drury in his staff and the shape and services of the hotel overall. Our room was wonderfully clean, fully stocked with the basic amenities, and we enjoyed our jacuzzi very much. For $129 a night you can't beat it! The same room at a Holday Inn in Marshfield was $149 and I doubt they would have offered us free bar drinks, free freshly-popped popcorn, free breakfast, free sodas, etc, etc. The staff was exceptional and even called our room shortly after we checked in the make sure we were happy with the room and to see if there was anything they could do for us. They recommended local activities for us to try, restaurants, the whole 9 yards. Again, for $129 a night, it is quite a value, especially considering some of the competition charges more while offering you a lot less. The bed was also super comfortable! We slept great. I would highly recommend this and any Drury hotel. read more

Very pleased with the cleanliness of this Drury Inn! It's a chain that does a great job with keeping rates affordable while at the same time offering quality amenities. They have a happy hour, pool/hot tub, complimentary wifi, spacious rooms and just an overall welcoming atmosphere. As I'm laying in bed writing this, I must make note of how comfy the pillows are (very important) and that it's quiet! A peaceful night of sleeping is key and you don't always have that luxury when hotel sleeping. If I'm ever in Springfield again, I'll bookmark this place. read more

Friendliest staff imaginable. Our room was luxurious at a fair price. Enjoyed a hot tub suite for our single night stay. Relaxing and comfortable after a busy and stressful day.
