I love this streaming service. Not only does it offer hundreds of incredibly talented and hilarious comedians, but all shows are "family friendly" so the whole family can enjoy! And due to their unique business model, it is VERY AFFORDABLE. I'll be the first to admit I didn't think "family friendly" comedy would be nearly as good as "adult comedy" ... but I was promptly schooled. "Family friendly" does not mean knock-knock jokes or jokes without innuendo/subtext ... I laughed so hard I HURT. A wonderful surprise and a testament to the amazing talent on this channel. Instead of paying $15 month or $150 year like many other services, as of the date of this post they offer two very affordable tiers: a low monthly rate (under $7) OR an annual subscription which is crazy CHEAP ($40 a year!). They help to keep overhead low by allowing comedians to accept on-screen TIPS from viewers. This encourages each comedian to bring their A Game -- the harder the laughs the higher the tips :-) What a novel idea! I started with a monthly plan to see if I'd find the time to watch it, with most shows lasting about 20 minutes. I found belly-laughs a great way to start my day, so quickly upgraded to the Annual Plan. I've been enjoying these shows SO MUCH that I'm actually planning a trip to attend the live taping of a show! However, I find a contradiction in how the audience responses to Africana/Ethnic comedians and then reading about the racist activities of students in schools, colleges, and BYU. I guess I should not be surprised as the Mormon Church only recognized Africana as human beings in 1974. Critical Race Theory has NEVER been included in K-12 Curriculum, or taught at those levels. Had a great experience tonight. First time attended and couldn't have been more pleased. They aren't cheesy Mormon comedians. Host comedian and opener was really entertaining and composed and you got your fix of Provo and Mormon comedy. The guys they flew in were hysterical. I'm not an easy laugh but they had me rolling all night. Proof that you don't have to be crass to be funny. Top notch facility, downtown so a great ambiance and really great old building. The line at the door was really quick as they checked people in. I bought my groups 8 tickets but we all showed up at different times. Their check in system allowed partial admission which was a great convenience. Lots of great snacks that are reasonably priced and they had tons of help behind the counter so you essentially never had to wait to go grab a snack. Also loved the sink in the bathroom. Perfect for a night out with my girls! I love that they fly comedians in. Also, if you follow the acts on FB you know what you are in for. I lived being able to listen to comedy that is clean and witty. My only complaint is that the first comedian was by far the funniest. Good times! We heard about the season tickets through a Facebook ad and jumped on board. For the price it's a bargain as an instant night out plan. Luckily Provo has upped their food game so we can eat dinner before we show up then swing into Taste or Rockwell Ice Cream for dessert after. VIP's get seated first, a separate line to get in faster, and snacks at every show! There wasn't a comedian we didn't like... they're all funny! Sure, there were a couple we didn't howl at their jokes as much as the others, but that isn't a deterrent for us. (Begnt Washburn was our favorite, and I can hardly wait for Rob Little's episode to air so I can watch it again!) If I ever went to Provo, this would be the first place I would go to. They seem to have the best situation anywhere in the world for Comedy. The videos posted on YouTube show the perfect showcase for Comics of all type, and it's clean: bring the wife and kids! It seems they create a unique set or distinctive backdrop for each act, which gives each artist the perfect framework for their set. At Dry Bar there is no basement brick wall. The audio is flawless and every word is understood. If there are awards for presenters this place would have all the trophies. I hope they last forever. read more

We've come to this place 4 times and there has only been one comedian, out of 8 , that wasn't that funny. We've really enjoyed finding this hidden gem on center street Provo. Too often comedy today crosses a line to get a laugh...this place pushes right to the edge without becoming offensive. The cost is so low and the laughs are plentiful! read more

This is a great location for a little laughing TLC on the weekend. I picked up some tickets online, and let me specify what they are so you know what you're getting. $5 tickets are for the balcony "seats", except they aren't really seats, they're bar stools. There are some seats, but mostly bar chairs. You hang over the edge and get a pretty good view of the show. $10 tickets are for seats on the floors. There are several chairs, HOWEVER, they fill up very quickly, so if you want the best seat in the house, plan on being 40 minutes early. The drinks are all non-alcoholic (as far as I know) and the snacks range from free popcorn (depending on the night and if you check in on FB) to candy. I had a pineapple cream drink, I can't remember what it was called, but it was good, but also it was $4. Worth it if you want a little extra sweet treat. The ushers were all very proper and informative and very nice. I never felt put out at any moment I was there. The restrooms are in tip top shape, and I REALLY appreciated that. Finally, the comedians are good. The first one we had was a little weird, but the second one had us laughing his whole set. Luckily the comedians change every week, so you always get someone new. Overall, I'd definitively come back to this place. I probably wouldn't get the bar stools again, but come back for the actual floor seats! Great prices and good fun! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by my visit here. I went in expecting a bunch of BYU jokes from local "comedians", but was happy to find out that they actually fly in real talent from around the US. Both of the comedians we saw were good. The jokes were all pretty clean, but I never got the feeling like they were dumbing down content for the audience. The setup of the venue could use a little work. Before they let us be seated they had us wind through a long line in a very hot room with no fans or AC (as far as anyone could tell). It was pretty hot in there and people were sweating. Once they let us through we took one look at the cramped seating on the main floor and immediately headed up to the much more roomy balcony. We grabbed two chairs, leaned against the railing, and had a great view. I would absolutely recommend the balcony over the main floor. The highlight of the night was definitely the comedian with a weird name asking an audience member for their name, in an attempt to make a joke about what it's like having a weird name. Of course, we're in Utah, so the first person he asked was named, "Davido". All one name, not a first and middle name...just Davido, pronounced David-Oh. The next persons name was "Nola". Overall it was a great way to spend a night and I think we'll come back in the future. We were both stuffed from dinner so didn't try out any of the concessions, but we will next time. read more

This place is a RIOT! It's not one of those local improv type places. They fly in travelling clean comedians that compete and are award winning. We have been a number of shows and they never disappoint. A lot of people believe that clean comedy can't be funny, however, these guys proved us all wrong. They also have a bar where you can order virgin drinks and movie theater style candy/snacks. I love comedy and this place found a unique niche and nailed it on the head. A stellar bet for an entertaining night. This is where we bring family and out of towners for a great time. We've been here four times, and each and every comedian has been solid. After the show, my face and ribs are sore from laughing so much. The comedians we've seen are more often *not* from Utah (one of my initial worries), and they do a great job of feeling out the audience and where to take their jokes. It's a PG level of clean, while still giving comedians enough room to be authentic and funny. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. You'll instantly feel relaxed and ready to laugh when you enter. Earlier this year they had tables interspersed on the main floor to break up the chairs. This provided a convenient place to sit your snacks and drinks throughout the show. They've since removed the tables, understandably to fit more guests, but I miss the coziness of the original layout. Balcony is a great option -- often you'll have tables behind you to set your snacks on. read more

Pretty fun place for a clean version of comedy for a date night. It was pleasant not to have all the jokes go below the belt. Sometimes it does get old when a comedian just makes fun of themselves such as their weight. Seating is a little tight on the floor. Not the most comfortable chairs. The dry bar food and drink options were good. Chocolate covered almonds and other treats. We tried a Brazilian limeade?, creamy and delicious. I will definitely come back. Attended the Dry Bar Comedy club for the first time with my wife last night, and I was NOT disappointed. When I was told it was a clean comedy club, I was worried that it was going to be too clean and too Provo-y, but the comedians last night knew exactly how to push the censor line without getting inappropriate for a Provo audience. I later learned that this is a Vid Angel production, which also impressed me. Their talent scouting is on point - the comedians were great! They also have yummy treats at their "bar." Their specialty drinks are on the expensive side, but they're delicious. Also, you get free popcorn for checking-in on Facebook! I was surprised at how funny the comedians could be while keeping it clean. Both comedians had their own unique style, and both were funny and talented. The venue us in an old downtown building in Provo, so there are plenty of restaurants nearby to catch an early dinner. Since it's an older building, the climate control wasnt the best. It got a bit warm with all of the studio lights and warm bodies. Dress for summer....casual style works just fine as audience members wire bith casual and a little bit of business casual. Seating is tight, chairs not the most comfortable. The snack bar was a nice plus...during the intermission is a good time to refresh with a bottled water, specialty drinks, candy, and ither snacks. Overall this was a fun place to take a date, great pricing, venue could use some upgrades (seating, a/c, lighting). read more

First things first, when we bought tickets (a big family group of 10+) we were all given assigned seats. Then, we show up, and every person who reaches the front desk finds out that the management decided to throw out thee reserved seats and make it first come first serve.
