This place is really unassuming, so it was just up our alley! We came to visit family and ended up here on a Sunday night. The staff was really friendly and had a well-stocked bar, there's a stage and pool tables and a back patio. We hung out there, made new friends and memories. Even though we were there till close, we didn't feel rushed. We enjoyed the Wee Blu Inn so much, we're actually considering having our wedding reception there! The cover charge thing is BS and I leave everytime they do it. The food can be good but generally takes way too long so I eat before I go. Pool is fun I like the people I've met. Drinks have always been good. Karaoke is probably the saving grace for this place Kate is amazing and so much fun to sing with. read more

We stopped in on our way from Wyoming to Arizona. My husband got the Friday night special which is a ribeye steak, choice of potato or fries, salad, corn, and dessert for $30...I got the club sandwich and fries. Food and service were phenomenal! read more

We stopped in on our way out of the Payson Scottish Festival to grab a drink. They weren't very busy so we got a seat at the bar. There was a funny smell that bugged me a bit, but the longer I stayed, the less it bothered me. We ordered a small fries after seeing what others had ordered. The were fresh cut with a side of fry sauce. They were a bit oily, but tasted good. The had pool tables and shuffleboard which looked fun. They also had a juke box to choose your favorite music. The bar tender was friendly and told us the history of the bar. The decor was dated an dark, and some may call it divey. My husband likes these places, so we wouldn't complain. If we are back in the area, we may need to try the burgers as they looked good going by. read more

Some drunk girl bugged us the whole time we were there. Spitting every sentence. About 1:00 afternoon and she was smashed. They kept apologizing and said her ride was coming but totally ruined our lunch break. Food was cold, took way too long. Charged us full price. Haven't went back. Beer was cold. That's it. read more

Wee Blu Inn is a staple in the Payson community. The bar is the only one in the area and can be a hot spot for locals looking for a drink. They have coin billiards and darts in the back. They also have a few booths and quite a few tables for sitting. On the weekends they have live bands playing on stage in the back. They have a full service bar and a fridge full of bottles and some nonalcoholic beverages. There are a few TVs in the place and they have a coin operated music player to keep you entertained. Parking is abundant seeing as this place is on main street. There is also parking on the side of the building, but don't park your car there overnight because it can get towed. The food menu is available til late and you can always grab your food to go if you don't want to dine in. If you are here late at night they have finger food available after 9pm if you need a snack. My go to is the Big Moe. A huge hamburger with almost everything on it and a side of fresh cut fries to go along with it. Will you be able to finish it? Maybe not. Is it worth it? Rightfully so. Beer prices are on point and mixed drinks are pretty average for a Utah bar. read more

I used to come here weekly at least twice a week for taco and wing night. Bar has gone down hill over the past few months, food is awful now and takes at-least an hour to get out to the tables.. New staff is not friendly and dont have any hospitality to us that have been coming for years.. We were around before they were and should embrace the locals and regulars because we are the ones that bring in new people. honestly disappointed with how this take over has happened and hope they get their stuff together.. or this bar will go out of business.. read more

I went here because I like karaoke. I will never go back. I went to the bar and ordered a popular mixed drink. The girl behind the counter looked in a book I guess looking for directions on how to make it then ran back and got who I found out was the owner. She looked at me like I had ordered hell on a rock and spun around and left. No apology. So I asked if they could make a different drink which they could. I went back to my table and took a taste of the drink. I knew how it was supposed to taste but this was not it. I decided maybe it just needed stirring so I swished my little straw around and came out with a long black hair on it. I had drank some so I almost puked right there. I took it back to the bar and wasn't happy, so she said she was going to get the owner. The same lady came out looked at me rolled her eyes and left. The bartender looked like a deer in the headlights just standing there. I was sitting there for awhile and she came back and started arguing with the bartender. I was sitting right by the kitchen and I could see the inside and staff. The kitchen was nasty. The grill had layers of old food and the floor and counters were old dirty. I kept watching and I swear I saw the kitchen staff scraping the ketchup from used plates back into the ketchup container. Also I saw a bucket that they were pulling bottles of liquor from. I guess liquor that's supposed to be served cold? Then as they were still arguing the owner took out the bottles and poured the bucket water into the ice machine the bartenders were using for drinks. She put the bottles back and scooped more ice into the bucket. She stared at me again like I was the problem and left the bar area. The bartender did apologize and asked if I wanted anything else and I decided my best bet was a bottled beer. I also canceled my food order, but it was on my bill. Another standoff with the crazy lady in the back happens. I am pissed. Because after the first 2 incidents we were not called up to sing but skipped over. I asked the karaoke lady and she said come back on Tuesday. I had to argue to get the charge from my bill because they had already cooked it. After I saw that kitchen I would not have eaten anything there. Also the men's bathroom overflowed and the stench was bad; however I saw no one trying to fix or clean it, just patrons complaining about it. The floors are so warped you feel like a drunken pirate just walking from the bar to the karaoke area. I went with a friend and we were sitting near the karaoke area and we had to be passed by the smokers that huddle up in the back somewhere and the same drunk men kept passing trying to talk to us and were trying to touch us after we told them to stop, so no security for the female patrons. We decided to shoot pool since the drunk karaoke lady decided she would do most of the singing. I looked at each stick and I didn't find one that wasn't cracked, bowed or had no tip. The table was not level probably because of the warped floor. We left fairly early because there was really no reason to stay. After getting my bill reluctantly fixed we left I got sick after I came home and was sick the whole next day. I think it was from old drink mix I drank before I found the hair. I just moved here and they are the closest bar that has karaoke, but I would rather stay home than go there. The owner abuses the staff and should not be in public at all. read more

Stopped in to cool off after attending the Scottish Festival. The place is larger than it looks and it has pool tables, shuffle board and pinball. Drinks were ice cold and reasonably priced, service was good but the one gal working the front of the house had a hard time keeping up with all the patrons but she did the best she could. We had already eaten otherwise we would have given the burgers a try, they looked really good. We were able to squeeze in an order of fries, they were fresh cut and tasty. We will be back but we probably won't be in Payson again until the next festival. read more

Since the new owners have taken over everything has gone down hill. Service is horrible and takes forever to get a drink and when you finally do it's after asking over and over again. The new bartender doesn't seem to care she works in the service industry and is quite frankly rude. I won't be going back until they fix their issues, hopefully it's before they go out of business. read more

Driving to Vegas and needed a burger and a beer. Excellent on both counts. Darts,pool, live music and great service. Seemed like a friendly and fun local pub. I didn't dig the onion rings however. Nevertheless, I will definitely be making future visits. read more

One of the best kept secrets for delicious food! Generous portions and a diverse menu not typically found in small taverns! Service is primarily at the bar so don't expect the same attentive service you get in restaurants. Employee attitudes vary depending on current clientele. I personally love the food here. The burgers are big and delicious. The salads are huge. They have steak dinners in the winter on Fridays. My husband loves them and the fish. (I funny care for steak or fish) It is a bar so you must be 21+ to dine in. But you can always get it to go. They also have decent priced lunch specials Monday thru Friday from 11 am til 2 or gone. We love Wee Blu Inn! My friends and I go every Thursday for THE BEST wings, pool, and shuffle board. Jana and her staff are amazing to us!!
