If you are looking for a fun Girls Night Out, check this place out; just expect to pay quite a bit. The price was a bit too steep in my opinion. $8/hr per person, we had 8 of us and we did 2 hours, so they made $128 just from our group alone...that's an expensive night out and that didn't even include any food or drinks. We reserved our own room so that was cool having our own separate area, but that small room got hot fast. Thankfully they had a ceiling fan in there, but it was still way hot, a lot of us had to take off lots of articles of clothing to feel comfortable. They have a phone number that you can text your food order to and they say they would get back to us quickly...but we didn't get texts back for a while on any of our orders so I ended up going up front to see what was going on, we ended up getting our pizza an hour and 15 minutes into our 2 hour stay. We were definitely hungry by the time the food came. Not too impressed as far as their food service goes. They only had 1 mic in our room, the guy at the front gave us some free sodas and apologized for not having 2, so I'm guessing that they usually have 2 in there? Overall: My friends and I enjoyed it; but we probably wouldn't do it again because of the price. read more

So much fun!! First time going to a karaoke place, and I loved it. The private rooms make you feel like you're at a concert with all the lights and loud speakers. I came here with a bunch of friends and we had sooooo much fun! The staff was friendly and nice and super helpful. The room was amazing and totally fun to be in! The decor was well suited for karaoke and really helped set the mood! The price for 2 hours was also great and totally worth it. We even told them to change the couches so they gave the other way. This way the person singing can look across everyone sitting and sing to them instead of away while looking at the screen. They totally loved this suggestion! I was sad to have missed the Yelp event when I was out of town so I was thrilled when my wife told me that her work Christmas party was being held here. We were with a large group of people and had a great time! The group started out in the large room up front but eventually divided up into the smaller private rooms. For people who are nervous to sing in front of crowds this is the perfect option. Each room has its own screen, mic and sound system. Food and drinks are minimal, but enough to keep you satiated while you sing with friends. There is no alcohol, so factor that into your plans. I went here a couple of years ago when it first opened and had a blast! Only problem is that this location is 45 minutes from me. I went there recently on the date and not only were we brought back to our room late, the mics weren't charged, the room was slightly dirty, and halfway through our booking...we had horrible feedback come through the speakers that didn't allow us to sing for 10 minutes. There was no extension of our time given to us even with all those issues and we were the first clients of the day. I don't think we will be returning anytime soon. read more

Went to the one in SLC. There were 14 of us & we stayed for 2 hours. We initially reserved for 1.5 hours but they let us add 30 minutes at the end so that was great! You can also text a number for food or drinks that you want brought to your room & that was awesome They lose a star because the AC wasn't working & it got really hot in our room after 30 minutes so we had to sing w the door open but even then it was still too hot. Minus another star because I paid for 9 people even though I clearly said 7. Two of the people I paid for came late so we were already singing inside when they came but the girl in the front made them pay again. We didn't realize this until we got home because we were having a great time singing. Idk if it was intentional or if it was just a mistake on the worker's part. read more

My friends and I love going here for open mic karaoke! I'm knocking off some stars for this review because when we came in tonight with a big group of friends (including one very karaoke-enthused friend who came in for the weekend from out of town), we were awkwardly told by the single staff member there that the empty open mic area was closed for the night due to "staffing issues" and that all of the private rooms were full so we wouldn't be able to sing. We tried to offer some solutions such as paying the higher private room rate in order to use the open mic area as a private room, but the girl said that that wouldn't work. A bit defeated, we gathered outside to figure out something else to do with our night. The real frustration kicked in when we noticed a second staff member come up to the front desk and join the girl who we had talked to. I get that this job probably comes with a bit of downtime, but those two were literally just chilling on their phones and kinda cuddling behind the front desk (all very visible due to the all-glass storefront). We hung out outside for at least a half hour, and in that time we saw a lot of people leave their private rooms while the staff showed them the door. I'm not calling anyone out here (I definitely am), but as someone who has come to open mic here a lot, I don't recall ever seeing more than two staff members holding down the fort during a busy weekend open mic night... We ended up going to my fiancé's empty office building to sing out our pent-up frustration as a result of our rejection. The night ended okay but Heart and Seoul could've made it better. Still a little hurt and confused as to why two staff weren't able to host 7 of us for open mic tonight, but it probably won't hinder me from coming back. read more

We only had 4 people, so we went with the open mic option. We probably went a little too early(7pm) because there were mainly families with little kids. Things started to pick up around 9, when the families went home. They have a two song limit for the que, but it wasn't well enforced. For example, an older gentleman kept singing song after song. They have multiple options for food. From cheap popcorn $2ish to pizza from the place next door - Two Jacks. The pizza is around $15-20 for a large pizza. Family/BYU kids environment. If you want a better karaoke experience I'd suggest a bar. read more

Went here for a birthday party and it was amazing! Excellent song selection, great private room setup, it really was everything you could ask for in a more traditional karaoke experience. I'm used to karaoke like this in big cities and they absolutely delivered on my expectations for the kind of experience I expect to have, at a great price to boot. I fell in love with this karaoke place! I first saw it months ago on Instagram and have been wanting to come here since! When Yelp had a party here, I KNEW I had to join in! I drove 2 hours to make it and had the time of my life!! This place is so hip and modern. You are able to text in orders for a drink or a snack directly from your private room, and they provide you with an iPad connected to the screen so you are able to pick any song and sing right along on screen. When I found this place on Yelp, we made our way down south this Saturday night to try out it out. It did not disappoint, and it was worth all the gas money that we spent! We got there right as they opened which was a good thing because there weren't a lot of people waiting. When we left, there were a lot of people in the lobby, so I would suggest making a reservation before hand. During our one hour time in the room, the screen paused and wouldn't let us play another song, but the employees were great and fixed the problem. They even gave us an extra 5 minutes in place of the time spent fixing the problem. Great service!! Initially, I really enjoyed my experience! The concept is sound, and it was much more fun than I expected! We came to celebrate my sister's birthday, and ended up having way more people come than we expected. What was going to be 6 people ended up being about 20 people over the course of an hour or so; great business for the venue, you'd think. As we'd learn the hard way (because it's not clearly outlined online and wasn't explained at the front desk by the employees or owner), your hour in the private karaoke booth starts when you check in, meaning if you have people trickling in at different times, the group slowly gets broken up as the early arrivals' hour runs up. This resulted in the owner coming in every 15 minutes, stopping the music and killing the energy, telling certain people to leave, then walking away. Ok, that's the policy; it's weird but it is what it is. It caused a ton of confusion with our group, but ok. My hour ran up, but I wanted to be nearby for my sister's birthday and support her, as her friends trickled through. So, instead of buying more time, I stepped outside of the private lounge and had a conversation with a friend whose time also had expired. We weren't singing, we weren't in the lounge. But apparently that was a problem for the owner, Matt. After a few minutes of us talking outside the lounge, he walked up with an iPad and tried telling me I needed to buy more time to be near the karaoke lounge, talking. "Just pay $4, buy yourself a little more time, then it's fine." What? I'm not going to buy more time to talk to a friend in the hall. We move our conversation to the front lobby to avoid problems, and after some time I notice a lost credit card on the floor. It had been dropped by someone in another large group who'd already gone into a lounge. I go to return it to whomever dropped it, and poke my head in their lounge to return their card. Matt, the owner, literally ran over, put his hands on me and tried to physically pull me out of the door, quickly realized what I was doing and sheepishly walked away. Seriously? The guy felt the need to get physical? What kind of business owner does this? Where would that ever be an appropriate way to handle a paying customer that brought 20+ people to your business? Aside from the owner being overbearing, getting physical with me, and the general confusion that attended their hourly policy, the karaoke itself was actually really fun. A cool atmosphere, well-decorated, and a fresh idea for the Provo scene. However, I'd be cautious. Yep, I'm just as surprised that I need to tell people here to be cautious when going to a Provo karaoke lounge. read more

I had a great time at Heart and Seoul Karaoke. It's a great hang out spot to do something a little different than your usual activities. I believe this is a alcohol free, which is different for a Karaoke bar, because lets be real, we all need a little liquid courage.. Anyways, they offer private rooms as well a big, open space for rocking out. They have a "dirty" sodas that you can order, as well as popcorn, cookies, and other goodies. The private rooms was were I spent most of my time. They have decent song selection, but there were a few songs I searched for that they didn't have. They have a toat in each room filled with props, which makes it a little bit more lively. Also, the rooms are really well sound proof, so that is a nice benefit. You can't really hear other people that are rocking out in the different rooms. This place is great for a big parties as all the doors can open to make the private rooms bigger. If you are not sure about a karaoke bar, this would be a good place to come and check out. read more
