The manager, Aubrey, initially attempted to refund me for a less expensive drink and seemed unwilling to believe me when I explained what I had paid. I clarified that I was not seeking reimbursement for the tip, only the agreed-upon refund for my purchase. Her tone felt irritated and dismissive throughout the interaction. Fortunately, I still had my receipt with me and was able to verify the correct amount. Mistakes happen, and I appreciate that the store acknowledged the possibility of an error. What disappointed me most was how the refund was handled. I left feeling that my concerns were met with skepticism rather than understanding. Additionally, on a completely separate side note, while I was there, I noticed a customer had a dog inside the café. When I first visited with my friend, we had her dog with us and we were told dogs were only welcome on the patio because they had an open kitchen. So it was unexpected to see this dog inside and drinking from a reusable customer water cup provided by Peace on Earth. The inconsistency in enforcing store policies was surprising. I hope the business uses this as an opportunity to improve employee training and customer service.

There's extra parking by the church but it gets hard to direct people once it gets busy. Nobody from the wedding venue was there to help me on the day of the wedding, even though I was told there would be an employee ushering people to the church parking lot, and also the chairs for my ring ceremony weren't placed as I asked by the employees. There was also not enough chairs placed outside so 20+ of my guests had to stand. The service from the wedding reception was awful, but the venue is pretty!

After our movie some of our group grabbed ice cream and others got burgers and fries from the businesses that are right out front. Then we at around a fire pit and ate our food while enjoying the fire. I think there were several fire pits to enjoy. There were no heated food options available only popcorn. They clearly were not ready for the evening movie crowd, and our movie was sold out. Upon arriving in the theater, we found it clean, but after sitting down for a few moments, we realized it was quite hot in the theater. I went out and told the woman taking tickets. She had a radio and she said thank you for telling me we will take care of it. We proceeded to sweat for the next two hours during our movie. I'm not sure what was wrong in that theater, but it was one of the hottest movies I have ever sat through. We did alert the staff to the issue multiple times and nothing was changed. When walking out of the theater, we found the building to be fully air-conditioned but something was wrong in that particular theater. Their popcorn is still my favorite compared to other movie theaters in the area. I typically always prefer to come to this theater. They offered for me to text them if the temperature didn't go down throughout the night and said they would mention to the next staff member that our room was hot. We messaged but did not get a response. The room phone was still out of service. Learn from my mistake - if you get here and the room is hot, ask for a new room straight away! First and last time staying at a Hyatt for me!
