I brought in an utterly hopeless, off-white coat that had so many stains. I was almost certain there was no hope for it! When I came to pick it back up, magically most of the stains were gone! The seamstress also fixed the lining, which was coming undone. Now with the coat looking bright, cleaned and all repaired, it's almost as good as new! To dry clean the coat it was a little over a couple of bucks (I don't remember the exact price) and the repairs were about $12. You can't beat that! (Keep in mind you have to pay cash, before any cleaning or seeing repairs are done.) While there is employee turnover at the dry cleaners, one employee named Jimmy, has my customer ID number memorized. He rudely told her he "didn't give a fuck about your clothes" and slammed the door in her face. Again - she knew she was after closing and wasn't expecting anything other then "I'm sorry, we're closed." When i came in the next day to talk to him about it, he refused to speak to me face to face like a coward and had me come behind the counter to talk to him on the phone. He then called my wife a liar and claimed he did nothing wrong. The way this man treats his customers and speaks to women is beyond the pale. I brought in two pairs of jeans two weeks ago for simple hems (same style, different color). The seamstress was out, but the cashier told me the price was $14, or $16 if I wanted the original hems (I know from experience that this is their standard pricing). I opted for the latter, and the work was completed satisfactorily. The seamstress never saw me. Today I returned with another identical pair for the same exzact service. The cashier said she would ask the seamstress, who was seated further back in the shop. Used to love this place. I was a regular from about 2015 until a few weeks ago. Brought a brand new shirt for just a hand press. I brought two actually. Both white dress shirts. Once was fine but the other ended up with stains from the iron (I hope it was the iron). They cleaned it for free to fix the mistake. Then when I went to pick it up, it had new stains. Then again. Finally the fourth time, the cashier looks at me and goes "this time it isn't us, you've had this done four times". As if the shirt magically went somewhere else and got dirty. The shirt was literally brand new when I dropped it off. I took it out of the packaging in the parking lot and we inspected it together when I dropped it off so I know it was clean. It wasn't ruined but she could have just said "okay we'll try again" rather than telling me it's someone else's fault. Long story short - They were always convenient but never really great. I just dealt with it because this place is on my way home and I liked the people. Anyway, it sucks because now I have to find a new drycleaner. read more

Incompetence and lack of integrity are the two attributes that define this place. I brought a cotton sweater in for dry cleaning that had a chocolate stain. This is such an easy stain to get out, that I had no concerns about what condition the garment would be in when I received it back. However, when I first came back to retrieve my garment, it was in the same condition as when I dropped it off. Dry clean expo said they would try again, but the second time they spread the stain across the front of the garment. I was furious because the stain should have been very easy to get out, and I was concerned that they set it. They claimed that they were not responsible because they didn't know what the stain was (they had not even asked) and were unwilling to share any details about how the sweater had been treated. They insisted on hanging on to my sweater so that the owner could take a look at it and call me. Needless to say, the owner never looked and never called. The third time I arrived to pick up this garment, I brought it home and treated it myself. It took less than 3 minutes for me to get the stain on myself. I'm relieved that their chemicals didn't permanently set it- but what an ordeal! This place can't be trusted. read more

I used to think I had found a bargain in Dry Clean Expo, but for 3 weeks in-a-row now, my clothes have not been clean by the pick-up date/time given to me. This is unacceptable. Even more frustrating, the staff never has a real explanation. I take my clothes mostly just to be pressed for the following week, yet I was told on one occasion that the reason my clothes were late was "a stain they couldn't get out". Apparently my clothes are getting more dirty after they get dropped off. ...that is, of course, if you can communicate with the staff. Instead of being up front with me, they simply shrugged and told me I could call the manager. Did they give me a number to the manager? No...just circled the main phone line on the ticket. I am by no means wealthy, so unfortunately I have to give patronage to discount cleaners. And I know there are plenty of positive reviews saying "you get what you pay for". But meeting one's own deadline isn't hard...they have complete control of when that is, after all. So even though I never wrote a review with the times my suit came back with a random crease, or my shirts had to be re-cleaned because they came back with brown residue, this is the straw that broke the camel's back. I had a real problem with my last cleaner and my daughter recommended Dry Clean Expo, so I decided to give them a try. They have done an excellent job each and every time I have used them. The people at the counter have been pleasant and helpful. They even called me to tell me the hem on a pair of my pants was coming out and offered to repair them, before cleaning them. My clothes have been cleaned expertly and they are always ready when they were supposed to be done. The prices are great and I am sold on their great service. I don't go anywhere else. I have used this place for years and recommend the cleaning. Note that they will return things not cleaned well and with broken buttons, so check before you leave. One time they got something black on multiple new dress shirts and the owner argued about it not being their fault. They eventually got it out. I recently tried them for the most simple alteration - lowering the hem in two new pairs if dress pants. The work was visibly uneven and they did not press the pants, then again would not admit there was a problem. I went here fairly reliably for more than 2 years, even as their prices rose. I brought in a leather jacket and asked for a price quote, and was told $15. Seemed low, and I double checked for confirmation. When I came to pick it up, they were actually holding my jacket for ransom. They had cleaned it, wanted $39.99, never sought to contact me about the price, and wouldn't give me my jacket without $39.99. No manager would help, no negotiation, no good faith; simply fraud and "jacket kidnapping." I wouldn't have cleaned it for that price. DO NOT COME HERE FOR DRY CLEANING!! I've been a customer for four years. They must have changed management in the past six months, at least 90% of their employees are new. How that affects you? Ruined pieces of clothing, staining in your pieces, improper cleaning methods, and slower service. Previously, my dry cleaning would be done to my expectations. In the last two months, I've received back one stained cashmere sweater, one stained white dress, one shrunken jacket, and one stained silk blouse. Do yourself a favor and find another dry cleaner. I have been using this cleaners since April 2008 and have been pleased with both their cleaning and laundry service. I have never had anything damaged and have taken in some really nice suits and evening wear. I have used their alteration service on a few easy, casual items and they have done a great job. I have had a leather coat cleaned--they outsource leather--and I was happy with the job. Compared to other inexpensive cleaners I have used, my clothes smell clean and don't have a chemical smell. Expect to pre-pay and it is cash only. My only complaint is if they don't charge you the correct amount, i.e. if they miscount, they expect you to pay for their mistake when you pick up your clothes. This rarely happens. For a "cheap cleaners," you won't find much better. read more

Never get anything altered. You're better off throwing it out than wasting money because it will be ruined. I take my dry cleaning there but I have had a few hiccups (once my husband called saying they weren't sure if this one shirt was mine! It was so luckily I didn't lose my clothing" but nothing bad enough to make me drive further (yet). These last alterations sent me over the top though as I don't think I can ever go back. It's like the lady was drunk bc the thread lines were up and down and the hen was crooked. Plus the seams were visibly botched and uneven, even pulled too tight that it looked absurd. And they would only give me back half of what I paid for alterations. It's getting fixed by my man at WF Tailor, but I'm having to pay a lot for fixing their mess.
