I love their workout station by the trail. Besides that, Dry Creek Park is such a beautiful large park with lots of trees and a lovely large play area. It does have two picnic pavilion for party reservations at a cost. I love how the play area is designed for all ages. They have a section for toddler, and a separate area for the bigger kids area. The park also have a climbing area and musical play area. Over time, i notice the 'Little Free Library' nook is there. It is full of all ages book. I love these little gems. It's so lovely to have these exchange things around this side of the town. Their is a cute little creek next to the park and trail. I just love how you can hear the water runs next to the park. It's a perfect place to sit, relax, and listen to the water flowing down. While watching kids playing on the jungle gym, people running/ biking or using the free accessible work out stations. The only CONS is that during certain time of the year, the ducks from the water basin next to the park will fly over and poop everywhere. read more

This park has playground for kids, shade to seat and enjoy the breeze, and walk trail. We came to do our walking time and our reading time. It was very nice weather. It also has a side of the canal. Clear water is running and it looks good. You can seat at the edge and enjoy the water. I didn't see any warnings saying not to go in it but maybe is not permitted. There are bathrooms too. They are not too bad. It was a nice stroll at this park. And we enjoyed our reading time on the shaded area. read more

This park is the best! My kids ask to come all the time, it's a little further for us than other parks but there is so much to do. There is a music area, a climbing area, and two different play structures for kids that range from small to large. There is even an area just for smaller kids. Behind it is a large grassy area that is used for sports, running, playing catch. It can get busy in the early mornings and sometimes the parking lot is full and you have to park on the street. There is a trail right outside the park and a botanical garden on the same grounds. There are often birthday parties or other events taking place here as well. They have benches in more than one area. On the trail connected to the park you can find work out equipment that can be used as well. It's just a really nice place that you can spend time burning off some of the energy with the kids, and there is plenty of food and coffee nearby when you're done! read more

Nestled in the center of north Clovis, this park has a lot to offer. Two significant play areas and fun climbing structures, shady trees, a walking path, picnic areas, and a parking lot. The play structures include a climbing wall, rope course, swings and slides. Plenty of room for kids, big and little, to get their energy out. Next to the play areas is a large grass lawn area--big enough for various groups to play, meet and enjoy the outdoors. Also, adjacent to this park is the Clovis Botanical Gardens, another neat place to visit. If you're a local Clovis resident, you can rent/reserve the picnic area for all or part of the day. It is a great covered area-perfect for birthday parties or other group events. In all--this is a great park. The lot fills up quickly, but you can always park along the street if the lot is full. read more

This park has so much to offer you from the walking trail , that has a few work out equipment for you to use! The park itself has a decent parking lot right in front of the Clovis botanical garden and the play structures. We hadn't been here in awhile and I am so happy to see they redid the foam ground and put wood chips instead of tire pieces. They did have two slides boarded up but everything else was great. I love the fact they have multiple play areas and they aren't super far from each other. One are for 1-4 years olds , a structure for 2-6 years old and then one that can be for bigger kids as well, plus swings(two baby swings, 2 for taller kids and 2 that are really low to the ground even my almost 3 year was fine in)!! My kids also love the rope area that looks like a giant web that the kids can climb. They also have a music area too, that's like a music garden. They do only have two of the areas covered from the sun, so go on cooler days or early morning. They offer bbq's and seating, with two covered areas. Decent amount of tables under where the covered area is. Not sure about any water spigots or plugs. There is a big open area of grass as well! Bathrooms are right by the playground. read more

I've been here a few time. The past 2 times my sister made reservations to celebrate my nephew's birthday. It's a clean beautiful park. Large play ground and a trial for runners and bikers. Parking can limited on a busy day but steet parking is available. To make party reservations for the huge stone tables (8 total) and gazebo you would have to go through the city or do it online it's alittle over $80 to reserve a 6hour day. Very nice place for a picnic and parties. Made reservations on Sunday from 8am to 2pm the weather was perfect and the atmosphere was enjoyable and family friendly. Definitely always a great time everytime I come. Only complaint was the bathrooms were locked so had to wait til the party was over to use the restroom it was very inconvenient. There's also a botanical garden free of charge and will have to check out next time I'm in the area. read more

You can do a short walk or long walks depends on your mood. If you want the longest distance , you can go from John Wright Station all the way to McDonald's off Temperance/Herndon ( I'm not sure the distance but pretty good distance). From Dry Creek Park to the horse statue at the corner of Sunnnyside and Shepherd is 1.7 mile one way, so you'd be doing about 3.4 mile round trip. There's plenty of parking at the Dry Creek Park or at the horse statue off Sunnyside/Shepherd. Restrooms at both parking. Very nice trail wide enough for strollers and wheelchairs. read more

Best park in Clovis so far. Definitely a great park for bigger kids. We brought our little toddler here and he still had a blast. There is a nice big playground for the older ones. They have a baby playground as well. Also lots of space. Love the trail along the park. Love all the exercise stations. Love the little creek. They have a little musical instrument area. The botanical garden is right next to the park. It's nice to go for a walk and let the little one run off some energy. It's a clean park and love that they have a parking lot. I absolutely love this park this is probably one of my favorites in all of the Fresno Clovis area. There are 2 playgrounds for a little kids and toddlers and up they have 2 huge overhangs that you can reserve for parties which I have done 2 times already and both times have been a great experience. There is plenty of grass were ducks walk, there's festivals there, we've taken bounce houses and set up games there as well as workout classes. The trail is right next to it which we have ran plenty of times, there's even the workout stations which are awesome and we've totally use that too. As well as a botanical gardens which I haven't visited, but I definitely would like to because it seems like they have updated that section as well. I cannot say more great things about this park, its awesome read more

Great scenic Park that is very green right now. Perfect place for walking your dog and biking. There is no entry fee for this trail or park which is absolutely surprising. There are restrooms for the public that are moderately clean. There are low hanging trees along the trail that create a lot of shade for your morning walk. Great playground for the kids within the park, also musical area. You can reserve the covered space with tables for special occasions. Very friendly residents along the trail as well as people on the trail. read more

Really like this park! So many things to do, love that there are play structures for the small kids including swings and slides, and also for the big kids, such as rope and rock climbing structures, and a funky music area. Picnic tables, big grassy area, a bathroom and a garden. The matting needs to be changed out though, it is peeling and the kids like to peel it even more and throw it around. read more

I came here to check out the trail after spotting it as I was passing by, and I'm so glad I did! This review is only for the trail. The park looks super cute and would be great for small children, but I only checked out the trail here! There is a paved trail that starts right behind the Clovis Botanical Garden and runs across the park. This is where I pick it up and start on a long or short run. The path is tree lined, peaceful, and perfect for a sunset run. You can easily follow the trail, but also, it's very easy to branch off and run down the Clovis streets and make a longer loop as well. At night, the trail is very dimly lit, but I didn't encounter any problems. I have a segment saved on Strava if readers are so inclined! The parking lot is huge and I never have had any issues finding parking. I would recommend coming anytime before night time sets in, as the characters become a bit more interesting as the night goes on. I'll definitely miss my runs here, and I look forward to the next time I'm back in Fresno to check out this trail again! read more

This park is absolutely beautiful, well maintained by the city of Clovis the landscape work is well kept up. It would be such a great experience with a little one IF there wasn't so many negative guests. I was sitting at a table with my husband and little one and experienced so much hate by the visitors (parents and children!) that I can only contribute to being racial because we were being very friendly. Took my grandson there on Sunday. It has many pluses, but it needs maintenance! The soft impact floors are ripped and torn in many places. The sun sails are ripped and flapping in the wind. Some of the outdoor gym equipment is broken or not working properly. With that said, it's a nice park, pretty clean and nice paths to walk or run on. The creek is nice too. It is family friendly and will return. The 3 stars are for the maintenance, upkeep issues, and not the good vibe this park has. read more

Beautiful park. plenty of green space, covered tables and seating, huge playground for the kids, plenty of parking, trails, and very clean. Can't complain. The playground has a lot of levels of play depending on your child's age. There are areas for younger and older kids. They have some kind of synthetic material instead of sand which makes things cleaner as sand tends to get everywhere. No park is perfect as they are usually all public and it comes down to the city to maintain it and the residents to take care of it. This park comes close if not the closest I've been to. read more

It is a great park. I was there for the Aloha festival. THAT area appeared to be clean. I chose to walk through the rest of the grass to get back to my car instead of on the asphalt. The grass beyond the Aloha festival (Alluvial and the cross street) was LOADED with dog feces. And I do mean LOADED. It was really gross. read more

One of the most coolest playground in town! They have multiple areas for play and exercise. There is a small creek running along the park and it's so pretty. One thing I may not like at this park, as to other parks as well, are the massive gnat clouds there. I fear I breathe them in and eat them as I speak. read more

I can really only rate this park for the trail itself as I don't really use the park. The park is on the north-east corner of Clovis and Alluvial, situated in a very nice and safe neighborhood. I frequent the dry creek trail as it is my go-to route of choice when running from my house. The trail is clean and well maintained. There are some exercise bars for those that would like to stop along the way and do some pull-ups, sit-ups, rings, rows, dips, etc. The park itself seems nice. I see lots of families there on the weekends playing or having parties. The botanical gardens are also nice. read more

I do not recommend this park for families that have a child with special needs. My little girl is in a wheelchair and could only watch her cousins play from a sidewalk. The material used around the playground equipment is recycled rubber chunks. She had to sit on the sidewalk and look over at them. There is no equipment that is accessible for a wheelchair. They did have two rotating tic tac toe game walls in the tot area I was able to roll her close to. Not much fun when everyone else was on the other playground having a great time. Very disappointing day for her. I also brought my niece who has a disability, but is able to walk with difficulty. The rubber chunks made it hard for her to get around the equipment effectively. It seemed to bog her steps down. She however was able to get some enjoyment out of the playground. My suggestion for the City of Clovis would be to do away from the rubber chunk multch and put in the all in one foam that is smooth and wheelchairs and walkers could move around where ever they want. It would also be nice if some equipment for children with special needs could be brought into the park. Maybe a wheelchair swing, accessible bridges, or low sand tables. My kid wants to have fun at the park just like anyone else's kid. read more
