This place is super hidden. It is behind th kings canyon Walmart. When I put it in my GPS, it took me through a street that has a dead end so I went around. It's kind of in an odd spot but when I finally found the parking lot it was really cute. It's not big at all but it was big enough for all of my godson's friends to play. There is a sand box that we played in... that was fun. The place is very well kept. The bathrooms were clean and they had a staff member sitting inside watching over the place. Good times! read more

I came here on a mission to find out if this place would be suitable for a company gathering, since I had looked online for parks with reservations and this one came highly rated. It wasn't. First impressions matter, and the neighborhood around it was kind of rough. We parked and my husband immediately noticed the used condom on the floor. ... gross. Not what I want my toddler and baby to be exposed to. I said well maybe if we park behind where the gate is, it'll be better? So off we went. There are indeed two areas, a gazebo-ish area, and another picnic area that are covered and reservable. At the time of our visitation, one was being used for a birthday party. So we sat in the other one. There is a bathroom but it's not super well kept, in spite of there being an attendant at the building. Cute building though. The water fountain was pooling nasty water.. and parts of the park stank unfortunately, so it didn't work out for the purpose we came for. The best part about this park is the decoration and equipment. Fun toddler rides. My three year old loved the rocking horse and car and swings. They have quite the variety of swings and playground equipment. So the kids really enjoy it. It is clear that this park was super cute at one point. It's still cute, just not as clean as I hoped it would be. The trolley was not running but made a cute background. And the little structures around the park are nice. There is a grassy area next to one of the picnic areas. An ice cream truck came often as well. read more

This place is a hidden gem for sure in Fresno. There are times when my little isn't in school or camps and we have the luxury of touring around the area and finding new places to play, and I searched around and found this one on the other side of town and decided to take a drive. The house is cool and the water tower, there was no water, but you could see how they made a river when we were not in a drought. There were different playgrounds and cool play structures that are not super popular that are here, the train was cool to look at too, looked like maybe at one time you could go in it, and then the back had a huge grass area and gazebo to have a party or picnic. Such a cool spot to bring in history and have the kiddo's play. read more

The trolley, which was the main attraction of this park was unfortunately off limits due to maintenance. There weren't many things for older kids (age 5+) to do at this park, but it was sufficient for the younger crowd. I wouldn't likely return to this park, I'm sure there are better choices in the city. read more

Just found this amazing park. Heard there was a place with miniature Meux Home and Fresno Water Tower, but didn't believe it. But I've seen it with my own eyes. They're not exactly miniatures but they are smaller than the originals. The original trolley is a nice touch too. It doesn't run but it's fun to play on. This is definitely a hidden jewel. What an adorable surprise, today I found "Mini Fresno" enclaved within a well kept park and playground -guarded by perimeter gates which makes this park perfect for families and yuppies to have a BBQ or picnic or maybe even to bring tourist here for a walk after a meal. I was mesmerized to see the replica of the historic Meux mansion, the Fresno Water tower, Wooden bridge, and an old Tram that used to be part of Fulton mall in Downtown Fresno. I thought it was an amazing sight to see the mini of everything and how well the park was kept. It was clean and everything was functioning perfectly, no safety hazard. It wasn't huge or anything but it was cute enough for me to be call it a Fresno attraction for locals and tourist to check out and take photos while in Fresno, for memories sake. The park was also well equipped with water fountain that's classic and elegant in design, it decently keeps anyone hydrated while playing and walking there. Perfectly safe and clean, the park also has a grand facility of playground that would entertain kids. This place also has a huge gazebo complete with a BBQ pit and a lush spacious garden for family activity of even group activities. Parking was plenty and was free of charge. I would truly visit this park at least once if I was in Fresno. read more

Absolutely fabulous park for people of all abilities. Children's playgrounds. Sand lot. Two picnic pavilions. Super clean restrooms. Even more fun are replicas of Meux Home Mansion, Fresno Water Tower, a trolley car, and a dry model of Dry Creek. There is also an amphitheater adjacent to the nine-acre ponding basin. This park is managed by Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District who provides on-site supervision. read more

This is a decent park, it has plenty of space, shade, and things to do for the kiddos. I don't like that it's tucked behind Walmart away from the busy street (Kings Canyon) because sometimes I feel unsafe when I go with just my son because sometimes there are unsavory characters hanging about so I would avoid going unless it's crowded like on a weekend or later during the afternoon. Also this park needs to be cleaned with a power/pressure washer because the ground is disgusting and the play structures are as well.. The soft foam ground cover looks like people spilled drinks (and who knows what else) on it since the beginning of time! Due to the area it is in, you'll want to keep an extra close eye on your kid around the other children. Parents seem to not care when their kid is being disrespectful and too rough around the smaller kids..they'll run them all over. read more

This park looks really nice but it's gated and the hours weren't posted. We arrived at 7:30 am on a Summer day and it was closed.

Fun little park, fenced and safe for the littles to run, clean restrooms. Large 2-5 play structure under shade sail. Interesting light house structure and Victorian house. It was fun riding the trolley with my grandson as the conductor! The only drawback is the surrounding area outside the park is in disrepair, again not part of the park. My grandkids enjoy delivery trucks and just the other of the fence was a loading dock for a store. They enjoyed watching the trucks come in and unload their cargo read more

This park was awesome!! We took our nephew here last weekend, because my dad said he saw a really cool park behind Walmart on Kings Canyon, so I looked it up on here, and went. There's a ton for kids to do, and separate playgrounds for younger kids/older kids, which is always great! The mini Water Tower and Meux Home were great! there was lots of shade and grass, lots of picnic tables to eat on, it was nice and clean, no complaints! We'll be back with picnic foods next time! read more

This park is a very good little park. It is actually really clean . The restrooms weren't open while we were there. All in all it gets 4 1/2 stars from me. I went around 3:30pm and it was fine. read more
