A great time. As…read moresomeone who is new to golf, I found this to be a nice casual golf course. I played 9 holes and had a lovely time. After checking in, we were able to get two golf carts relatively close to our tee time. It is not crowded at all and is definitely challenging despite the location. The challenging aspects, however, were not entirely intentional. The grounds are not the most maintained. In some areas, the grass is perfectly managed and an appropriate length. In other areas, especially around the perimeter fence and trees, the grass was either patchy, dead, or super tall. There are plenty of hills, sand traps, and obstacles along the way for those people with more skill than me to have an enjoyable time though. There is one bathroom along the 9-hole course - I believe it was around hole 4. You can only access it if you have a golf cart key to unlock it. It was definitely not the cleanest bathroom I have been in! I would love to come back again to golf with my friends (even if that means just driving the golf cart around!)

The shop has a lot to offer for all levels. If you live around Oakley or Brentwood, you don't have to drive far to get your golf accessories, such as golf balls, bags, and gloves. The company promises to complete several upgrades to include re-asphalting the parking lot, complete clubhouse renovation, irrigation upgrades, practice range upgrades and new golf carts. This golf course was always pretty mediocre. At times, it was poorly maintained and dated. It is mostly made up of par 3 holes. It is a very easy course to walk for those interested in some exercise. Tee times are easy to book online. They also offer memberships. Really looking forward to seeing these upgrades and getting golfers excited about this place again.

If you reserve ahead they will charge you a fee to hold your reservation & they will not refund you or put that money towards the tab but you will have a bay ready for you at the time of your scheduled reservation. If you make a reservation you are committed to that time with a 15 minute grace period. They do not let you reschedule your reservation for a different time. Love this place. We had a team offsite here recently and ended up with two of the middle bays up on the 3rd floor. It was nice to be right in the middle for the golf. It was perfect for a work event because everyone got into the friendly competition...even folks who have never played golf. You just log into the tablet at the bay and pick your games - it was hilarious watching everyone try to outscore each other. Food-wise, it's pretty standard bar food, nothing too special but it does the job for a group. We ordered a big spread of pepperoni pizza, nachos, wings, sliders, chips & salsa, and some shrimp. The drinks were solid, though. Most of the team stuck to beers and margaritas, but I went with my usual Old Fashioned (had one with Bulleit and another with Woodford) and both were well-made. Parking was super easy since they have a huge lot. The EV charging stations happened to be out of service when we went, but it's good to know they actually have them for next time. Overall, it was a fun team event and I'd definitely come back.

Multiple golfers could be seen with their carts around these holes, so we continued to play. The "Marshall" rode over and began to yell that we weren't allowed to have our cart there. (We were done with the two holes at this point). When returning our carts the front desk lady began to single our group out, yelling we knew we weren't supposed to be down there. When we questioned seeing other golfers with carts in that exact spot minutes before us, and why are they not being yelled at her response was "i'm not going to argue". Tacky and unprofessional.
