Went in yesterday to finally upgrade my 15 year old driver. This place is badass and has great pricing for new & used clubs! Brandon was very knowledgeable and told him the budget range I wanted to spend. He pulled out 4 drivers he had in that range and pointed out the upgraded shafts that fit my needs as well. As a first-time golf mom to a 6'1" sophomore, I had no idea where to start when it came to getting my son properly fitted for clubs on a budget. Great Place to buy clubs, merch and everything golf related. I got my first set of clubs here. Started as a 28 handicap 2 years ago and I'm now a 14 handicap. The owner is an honest, hard working young man that is a pillar of the community. The golf facility is unlike any other in the bay area, they've got sim rooms, VIP sim rooms, Golf pros for lessons, social areas, games for the kids and all kinds of amenities. The membership is reasonable for what you're getting out of the facility. Nowhere in the area will you find practice bunkers and they've got them. You want to play golf in the shade to beat the heat, they've got you covered there as well. The outside hitting bays, the one-of-a-kind merchandise, swag, parking, and excellent service. Golfballin has an awesome vibe; you feel it the minute you walk through their double doors. The simulator room we played in was called the Masters room. It had lots of incredible vintage photos and memorabilia, and the Trackman monitor accommodated the left-handed person in our group. I went to chain golf store a few months ago to do a fitting for a full bag. It was going to be my first full set that I was getting fitted for and the guy didn't really ask me any questions or even measure me. I ended up getting a complete set which come to find out were too long for me. I had no idea until I started to do more research and realized I got someone just looking for a sale. Fast forward to yesterday, I went to Golf Ballin' and the store owner Brandon helped me. First thing he did was measure me and then my clubs, sure enough they were all 1-2 inches too long for me. He asked how long I've been playing, what my scores have been, price I'm willing to spend all the important questions. Then he started pulling clubs that would be good for someone just really getting into golf and looking to improve. I hit each one a number of times picked the ones that felt the best then he cut them and regripped each one to fit me. I recommend coming here for all your golfing needs. He listened gave his opinion when I asked but wasn't trying to sell me on anything just wanted to make sure I got the best performing clubs for my current ability. He even made me a great deal on the clubs I traded in that didn't fit me properly.
