An hours drive through mountain terrain to get to this course. It's a resort styled course with good amenities in the clubhouse. Terrific grass driving range and the putting greens are well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The course itself is a respectable track. The holes are well maintained with terrific fairways and tee boxes but the greens are a little slow. Good balance of water and sand hazards although the sand traps are not being maintained due to COVID-19. It's not a Hard course, and low scores can be had here, but it's still a fun course that has above average course conditions.

We have seen this place get renovated a couple times now and the management is getting better and better with giving the people what they want. Although I do miss the pool towels being freely available by the pool area, there are plenty of better benefits added to compensate for that. Watching a movie while in the jacuzzi, the fun games around the office, and the cold snacks on some days are a nice touch. The renovated rooms are definitely the best part of coming to this place, the golf course nearby and the deer make it feel peaceful and quiet. We will continue to come to this place couple of times a year as long as it's maintained and keeps on improving.

After a long trip, we were forced to sign up to attend a timeshare presentation, which added unnecessary stress and disrupted our plans. Immediately after check in we were directed to talk with the sales associate who spun a story about it being a 5 minute video for a free breakfast , etc. After driving for several hours with two hot kids we were tired and worn down so agreed to attend. Once we got to our room we did some research and found out that it was a 2 hour presentation with a sales team to sell you a timeshare. Although we attempted to cancel, a $20 deposit was still charged to our credit card. This experience made us uncomfortable returning to the lobby incase we ran into anymore pressure to attend the sales pitch at another time, causing us to miss out on amenities and feel generally anxious for our stay. While the resort itself has many great features, the aggressive sales approach and lack of clear communication around cancellations really ruined the experience for us.

They are currently going through another ownership change, but from what the pro shop guys have said, it's all good things coming. The greens have some crabgrass issues, but other than that they are rolling pretty good. The greenside bunkers have gotten much better over the past few months, but the fairway ones still need some work. Since the new ownership change, the tee time pricing is now dynamic. We called to make a reservation instead of booking online, and that was a mistake. Definitely check online for the best price as most of the prices were cheaper than what we ended up paying. Twilight starts at 1pm, and honestly $75 with a cart is a solid deal. 2/3 rounds I played this past weekend were under 4 hours. 4th of July the course was empty and made for a very enjoyable round. The one area the course as a whole can improve on is the food at the clubhouse. Not sure if there's been change, but the food has been real bland the last few times. It's pricey as well, which makes us want to pack a lunch instead of buying it on the course. Lynette the bartender is the best though! Overall, excited to see how the new ownership improves the course over the next few months and beyond and can't wait to be back up to play again. This course is truly a hidden gem that's not too far from the Bay Area

Our son was turning one month and that is exactly what we were looking for, a couple of days away from the busy city life. We didn't want noises of cars driving by, people roaming the streets and having conversations outside of your bedroom window. I came across this place while surfing airbnb and we couldn't have been any happier that we found it. Briana was a great host! She gave me a call within a few hours of me booking the place online. She advised me that it would be smart to have all of my grocery shopping done prior to arriving at Casa Bella Verde as there are no stores in the immediate area and she also advised me of the unpaved road that is leading up to the house when you turn off the main road. Having the knowledge of these things was very helpful. The "guest house" that you stay in has everything that you might need to have a weekend (or even longer) of relaxation. The guest house is very modern with the amenities one might need and not need. We were particularly fans of the jacuzzi hot tub which is big enough to fit 4 adults. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck which has some amazing views. As a host, we couldn't have asked for a better one. When we got there she did a walk through with us to explain to us on how all of the gadgets work (everything is very high tech.) The fridge was stocked with eggs, some english muffins, and orange juice. As we were making dinner we realized we forgot olive oil and balsamic, I had asked Briana is she by chance had any and without a doubt she did. Within a couple of minutes of me asking I was able to walk over to the main house and there was what we had asked for on the kitchen counter. Thank you for everything Briana and I look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

What an amazing resort tucked up away in the mountains within Tuolumne County…read more I've lived up here most my life , my entire childhood , I never knew this place was here, lol. (they need someone on social media, i would think) But this resort is a gem away from daily routine of the normal daily life and great relax at the pool, nice swim , quick dip, or maybe a little relaxation in the hot tub. from the world as we know it. lol. The pool is the heart of this resort , it really is , but sooo worth it. A nice beautiful waterfall on one side , with a cascading waterfall on the other side. looks all Natural, including the ground, looks like sand, and rock. Its beautiful... The pool has a shallow end but gets deeper fast. Pool has a nice lip that goes to the deep end from the shallow, it's roughly 2-3 feet deep for this ledge / lip. Middle of the pool is roughly 5 foot. Deep end is 8 feet deep. The main building is cool , nice hang out for kids or teenagers. lol. The cabin we were at, evergreen 1a was inside the pool area. Nice if you want to be close to the pool, but I can imagine it being noisy in peak season, just FYI. The cabin was nice, a little smaller than I thought but not bad. Totally worth the stay , 1 king size bed, bathroom / shower, small kitchen / Sink, mini fridge, cabinets / already has a few plates as well drink ware... maybe next time I will upgrade to the next cabin? Who knows, nice to have extra space if staying a few days or more. This place is worth the stay, if you like pools / spas , nice views, staying within the mountains and wilderness, but not camping, away from the crowds and lots of people ( that being said I have no idea how full this place gets in peek season. ) You are also within driving distance to Pinecrest, SOnora, and Columbia State Park. The resort is on side of the mountains if im remember right, so you have a small glimpse of whats through the trees, so if you are looking for a view of a lake, or mountain side / Canyon view, you wont find it here, that being said the view is still nice, specially in spring. But I do have to say the stars are amazing at night... Nature is flat out amazing , It was nice to sit out front of our cabin, drinking coffee, and watching the sun come up through the trees, little light rays dancing through the trees... I really liked Our stay here, the pool IS AMAZING, Seemed well kept up, clear water/ no junk in the water or leaves... The cabin was decent, little Rustic feel, which is pretty cool. But did have its issues. SOME OF THE ISSUES I HAD ----- Few things that needed to be fixed in the cabin, bathroom door wouldnt shut, stays open 2 to 3 inchs... lol Tv had issues connecting, or some error with the box, idk, and remote had dead batteries, tv wouldnt turn on, then replaced the batteries = tv turned on, but cable box or something had issues so couldnt really watch much, just a few channels, ( took batteries out of a gaming controller i had packed away in my bag, thus the batteries, lol ) I do feel like its Lacking something, and could have ALOT MORE potential. -- I think it would also have been nice to have some of the following, -- * Place seems a little dead, where are the staff? the office was evenm unstaffed , just had a sign list of names, and cabins, and a Map. Yoiu look for your name, and theres your cabin and your all set for your stay! ;-) The bar at the pool was unstaffed as well. * Maybe towels by the pool, not sure if its a resort, make it feel like a 5 star resort, in the mountains , so how cool is that, but again kinda lacking... * Maybe some social media, I feel like thats lacking as well... discounts in off season?? would be nice, ;-) * Staff the office on weekends? (not sure if its staffed on super busy holidays, or summer?) They do have a number to contact someone , or the host of the property, no idea never called it, I like face to face communication better. * I think the place needs a slight uplift, some repairs, maybe few added things, ALL AND ALL, I would love to give this a 5 star review, but it just doesnt have that resort feel, or anything really going on from my experience that tells me this is a resort, (on the +plus+ side of things) it really is + Pool is EPIC + beautiful area, + great rock work with the pool, and surrounding area, + hanging lights to set a nice mood to things, + - A place for live music / band, but its empty on a spring weekend, so is the bar at the pool.. - No working bar, no drinks **** A resort is alot more then just a pool, its an experience, its all about the guests, drinks, foods, music... Again i am not here on a HUGE busy weekend, so it might be different for other people coming on in mid summer vs Mid MAy! However, i think if they are open they still should be staffed some, and have a few things going on...

My room was ready early which was a bonus and the room. Again just great. Spacious. Ultra clean. All the amenities you could want. Fridge bar area. Fireplace. Sliding double doors to a private patio overlooking a fantastic golf course. Giant bathroom with separate soaking tub that was divine. I could review the golf all by itself. Super nice caddy Jack who it was a pleasure to spend the day working alongside and perfect weather because it can certainly get hot out there. We had a catered private lunch and then we had dinner in the bar area and everything was, you guess it, perfect. I will be back it's just a matter of when.

Not sure how busy/crowded it feels when the course is open, but having the course as a backdrop to our dining experiences and our room was beautiful. There is a hiking trail we didn't attempt because it was windy and our allergies were already bothering us, but a very nice option for those without allergies (or not staying during the spring). There are also pickleball, tennis and bocce ball courts and a nice gym! Our room in the resort was very spacious, they were really accommodating with baby amenities for our 15 month old which is always helpful when you're traveling. Cordevalle provided a crib, baby bath tub, baby bath supplies and a diaper genie!
