FLAGSHIP* SHOP SERVICE * Flagship Meaning - A product or…read moreservice that is functional, beautiful, perfected over the years By Andrew Laboy April 3, 2026 Integrity, commitment, honesty, and customer service. These qualities are the facets that reinforce my trust and brand loyalty. For the past decade, despite living 45 minutes away, I've preferred driving or towing my car there instead of using a nearby mechanic. Even on the most hectic of days, the front-desk staff always welcome you with a cheerful smile. The BOSS, Howard, is very kind and will recommend only the necessary actions that you must take to fix or maintain your car. FROM THEIR OWN WORDS: Fair Repair Auto Care is dedicated to helping our community keep their vehicles running smoothly while saving money. We understand how essential your car is for daily routines, whether it's taking children to school or commuting to work. That's why we're here for all your maintenance and repair needs--from oil changes and brake service to engine and transmission repairs or replacements.

I left my car there and they said they would look at it then charged me $500 for a service I didn't even ask for (diagnostic test) and kicked my car off the lot saying they did not have space to look at it any further. Seems like a scam shop to me Disappointed if I could give zero stars I would

Have you ever had a customer service experience that left you speechless.... I did!…read more Christian Brothers Automotive (Concord) is heaven sent. I recently hit a pot hole downtown, that knocked my car out of alignment a little. I started a Google search, but there were so many reviews & companies to sort through. I asked trusted Auto Shops for references & I finally struck Gold...Christian Brothers Automative. They had the highest, most consistent reviews that I found. In my mind I thought that this place is too good to be true. I called the 1st 1, they were friendly, but booked for about 2 weeks. I called the Concord location & explained my situation & they were able to squeeze me in today. They were very professional, knowledgeable, & friendly, & I felt confident in my decision. Today's the day! As a female, taking your car to be serviced can often be a stressful experience. Some places like to take advantage of females.. but luckily, I know a few things about cars. I pulled up to Christian Brothers Automotive & I was impressed by the outside, but what awaited me on the inside was even better. The inside was nice & welcoming, & the employees were so professional & knowledgeable. They listened carefully to my concerns & explained the process. I was immediately put at ease. The ambiance was nice & all, but I was here for the service! How did they do... Absolutely amazing! I received texts during the process, updating me on my service status. Once my service was complete, I came to the counter to ck out & they turned the screen around, showed me the picture of my car in the service dock, then they showed me the before & after of my car alignment service. I was impressed beyond words! I take my car to BMW for service sometimes & they have never shown me anything like this before! They even sent me a service link w/my vehicle report & the pictures. This was so comforting, it's one thing when someone tells you a job is done, but it's another thing when they show you the job is done. As I walked to my car, I thought to myself: this has been 1 of the best Auto Service experiences that I've had in Charlotte.. - polite professional staff - award winning service - clean restroom & waiting area - full service report w/pictures & then I opened my car door... there was some delicious chocolate chip cookies on my armrest! The cookies were a nice touch, but it was the message on the cookies: Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you! I was so touched that I went back in w/the cookies & complimented them on this 5 star touch & offered to get them lunch & they said "Thanks, but you don't have to do that, your expression is enough." Wow... just wow. This business truly lives up to it's name & reviews! If you're ever in need of a 5 star Auto Care, visit Christian Brothers Auto (Concord) & tell them I sent you!

I originally booked this appointment based on the positive reviews and called beforehand to confirm…read morethat my vehicle could be diagnosed in a timely manner so I could plan transportation accordingly. The appointment was scheduled through my warranty company for an electrical issue involving my car's radio volume. I arrived at 11:15 a.m. and chose to wait at the shop because I had already missed a day of work and had taken an Uber from 45 minutes away. I was told the diagnostic test would take a couple of hours. By 3:30 p.m., I still had not received any update on my vehicle. I noticed my car had been sitting for some time, and when I asked what had been found and whether I could review the diagnostic estimate being sent to my warranty company, I was not provided any clear information. After asking multiple times for an update and a timeline, Matt, the store manager, became condescending rather than addressing my concerns. The owner, Jade ("J"), then joined the conversation. Instead of providing answers, he appeared unsure of the status of my vehicle and had to ask his staff what was going on. He then asked me to step outside, despite the fact that I had remained calm, respectful, and was simply seeking information about my vehicle after waiting for several hours. Outside, the owner stated that he felt "uncomfortable." I found this troubling, as I had not been loud, disrespectful, or confrontational. As a black man this is definitely not ok. Rather than acknowledging the lack of communication, the wasted workday, and the inconvenience of being without transportation, my concerns were dismissed. The conversation became more uncomfortable when the owner raised his voice. I calmly asked him not to do so, and although he later apologized, the overall experience left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. My frustration was never about the repair itself. It was about the poor communication, lack of transparency, excessive wait time, and the way I was treated when asking reasonable questions about my vehicle. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this business.

My daughter's alternator stopped working. My husband used to be a mechanic, so he started…read moreresearching the job. We are 3.5 hours away and it requires removing AC lines to get to it, so we opt to take it to a shop. We take it to Christian Brothers to have it replaced. They quoted $2500 to do the job which my husband stated was very high. We called a different shop and asked for a quote. They quoted $1300. As we were discussing towing her car to the new shop, Christian Brothers, stated they would match the new quote. While we were suspicious about this, we accepted. They called the next day trying to say they were worried they would break the AC line removing it and wanted my husband to approve a $700 increase to the quote, just in case. Nope. He gave them multiple suggestions on how to remove it without breaking it and told them to call us if they did break it. They didn't end up breaking it. When we got the bill it had unapproved charges on it. They did remive them after we pointed them out. Fast forward 4 weeks later, her car starts acting like the alternator is failing again. We have it towed back to the shop. We only took back there since they did the previous work and it was under warranty. Now apparently the crank shaft is leaking on the serpentine belt causing it to slip. They quoted us $1000. We just got the bill and again it was more than the quoted price and not just a little bit, $500 more. If it wasn't for my husband's car knowledge my poor daughter would have been taken to the cleaners by this shop. I don't want anyone else to have to deal with this.
