Let me start off by saying, I created a Yelp account specifically to acknowledge the excellent service from three companies. I am not one to leave too many reviews anywhere, as good customer service is just part and parcel for a successful business. With that said, because of how much Drystar Restoration went above and beyond in assisting with me drying out and rebuilding my home after a major flood, I felt it necessary to leave them a five star review(wish I could give them 10). Drystar Restoration was referred by my plumber when a leak was found behind my shower. Unfortunately, the layout of my home is so big/empty, that this leak had sat there undetected for awhile, and was not noticed until there was water pooling on the carpet in a closet in another room. Drystar came out in under 60 minutes, and immediately got their gadgets going and found that I had mold. I was concerned beyond a reasonable doubt at this point, as I live in Arizona, who gets mold? Well, I did. Drystar got permission from insurance, and started cutting my drywall out. If you have never seen the guts of your home, the home you pay for, the home that is meant to feel like your sanctuary, then you don't understand the devastation. Next they took my floors, as the carpet and pad were soaked and even had some mold in places there as well. I was a mess. Thanks to the guys, however, my worries were put at ease. They advised me of the process, and expectations and they were not lying. This felt like an eternity. Within 2 months, my home was put back together, and looks better than it EVER has!!! Chad came and showed me carpet samples, helped me select one, and went over the billing information for the entire job. He told me to call if I had ANY questions night or day. Well, even when I called him at 9 PM, he was there to help. Chad was really the icing on the cake, Drystar, so please, keep up the fantastic work, and know that you have so many valuable resources, and they talk so highly about what it is like to work there. We discovered a water leak in the supply piping in our spare bedroom outter wall. The plumber who investigated recommended Drystar to us for mitigation and restoration. We called that evening and Justin came out the following morning to begin the drying and mitigation process. Within two hours he had removed enough material to locate the leak. Our plumber returned and repaired the leak. Justin commenced the drying of the carpet, walls and ceiling to prepare for the restoration work. He did a great job and explained their processes for drying and what he was doing during the entire time. Next up was the Drystar restoration process and Steve the PM for the job came out and did the measurements and layout work for materials needed for the restoration and labor required. Steve also explained their processes that would be required to restore our bedroom. When the time arrived Shane arrived to do the actual restoration of the walls, ceiling and baseboard work. He explained what steps he would be taking to complete the drywall replacement and texturing, replacement of the baseboards and final painting of them, the walls and ceiling that were affected. When he was done we could not tell any difference from the repaired affected walls and the original look prior to the damage. The texture and colors were a perfect match. Shane is a truly skilled craftsman at his work and a pleasant individual to talk with to answer all our questions. In closing I want to say we were truly impressed with every individual from Drystar we met in our home and spoke with on the phone during this trying tiime. During these times we live in it can be difficult getting good people scheduled to get the work needed done. Just ask anyone getting a pool installed or for that matter, any work involving home installations. Yes patience is required, but the result was above our expectations and couldn't have been better. Once again this is Coraline Jones (my Internet name) my husband and I are Tifani and Chris Sack. I am the #1 negative review on Google from 6 years ago from the work your company did.. funny how I got a response only a year ago from y'all.. once again 6 years down the line we go to use our downstairs tub (we never ever do) my first bath since it's been redone. House flooded. Had real inspectors come out.. Please look at our account and review previous work. They boys were continuously late making us late for work/missing work, they let out our dog to run in the street after leaving the door open several times, and not to mention the horrible job also leaving mold everywhere. In my husband's words: The installers placed the drain gasket for our basement tub underneath the metal drain insert you thread into the plastic drain pipe instead of installing it between the actual plastic drain pipe and the tub which is the correct installation process. They are also supposed to use plumbers putty underneath the metal drain insert to seal that to the tub surface which was not present when I removed the insert. This is simple plumbing 101, I guarantee they did not run the water with the drywall removed to inspect the tub's drain for leaks. I am now doing all of the work myself to fix this simple but costly mistake. Nothing was ever resolved before.. We will continuously make bad reviews for the rest of our lives and no recommendations will be given. Thanks for nothing. After experiencing a significant faucet and sink leak in my kitchen I can wholeheartedly recommend Drystar Restoration and Construction. Within 20 minutes of my plumber advising me to have someone come out and help with all the water damage a Drystar employee arrived at my home to assess the situation and begin the mitigation process (clean up, fans, filters, etc..) The Drystar employee also assisted me with filing my homeowners insurance claim which I greatly appreciated as I didn't have much experience in this area. It turned out that my insurance (State Farm) was pretty much a nightmare to communicate with but I had more than one Drystar employee help me with advise and communication with them. I ended up needing asbestos removal behind the drywall which Drystar expertly handled. Lastly my entire cabinet under the sink as well as replacing the sink and drywall was the final piece of this incident. Everything was completed in a professional manner. I know I am not going to recall every Drystar employee's name that I encountered but there were several that I would like to give a special "shout out" to: Steven, Abbi, Martin, Miguel and Chad-- they receive my highest recommendation as people of integrity, professionalism, compassion, and skill in their areas of expertise. Every employee that entered my home wore a mask and I always felt safe when they were here during these COVID time. I can recommend this company without reservation for your restoration needs. I have used Dry Star multiple times when experiencing flood damage in my home. Their mitigation team has always shown up within an hour of me calling. They are efficient in their work and have always started the process as soon as possible. All the employees have been empathetic to our situation and assure us that everything will be taken care of, especially Robert Simonson. I've called him every time something has come up, and he's been available every time without fail. This has been extremely helpful during the stressful moments of going through multiple remediations over the years. Their demolition team has always been careful and make sure that the work area is always clean as possible before leaving. This last run I worked with Adrian during the transition from mitigation to repairs/construction. He was quick to send out a project manager so we could get the reconstruction process done as quickly as possible and was on top of getting things taken care of with our insurance adjuster. Their reconstruction team has always done great work and has gone above and beyond to make sure that the finishing touches were on point. First of all I rarely write any reviews in the past many years using yelp. I am writing this review because Drystar has provided such speedy and excellent service and I strongly feel the obligation to do a little something in return. So here is the story: Recently we rented our house in Chandler to a famly. soon after moving in, one of the tenants complained about some mildew odor in the house. I called Drystar and spoke with John. He came to the house within the hour and did a thorough check for mold and water damage using infra red equipment. After the inspection he immediately called me and said he is certain there is no water leak or damage in the house, both by visual inspection and infra red testing. He also said he doesn't smell anything anyway. And he told me there is no charge for the visit. I felt obliged to offer him something for his speedy and honest service. But he said that is not necessary. So I told him that I will write a review on Yelp (I found his service from Yelp) and keep his contact info for future needs. I highly recommend Drystar for their prompt response, honesty and professionalism for mold inspection and water leak related repairs. read more

My entire experience with this company was top notch! I was out of town and came home to standing water in the entire 2nd floor of my home. I called Drystar at the recommendation from a friend and they were out within 30 mins. Dalton and Travis were very knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire dry out process. They explained everything and were patient with me. When my home was dried out, Abbie contacted me to inform me of how she would be facilitating the communication between the insurance company and myself. She scheduled Martin, the Project Manager, to come out and take measurements and he was very attentive to detail to make sure everything was included that needed to be. Garrett made the scheduling process easy and it was very convenient that they have their own carpet showroom and carry the latest products. I couldn't make it in with my small children so Chad was sweet enough to bring samples to me. Everything was smooth from start to finish and I was provided nothing less than first class service! We had a leak in a shower behind the wall. The team from Drystar was outstanding! They took care of everything from setting up the insurance claim to finishing the restoration work. The first team that came out was Noah and Travis. These guys were so kind and professional. I have to say that Travis, completely surprised us because he's so young but he took care of us and was always willing to jump in and offer assistance before I had to ask. Drystar is so fortunate to have Noah and Travis as employees. They took care of the demolition. They were hard workers and made us comfortable with the process. The next process involved Martin who coordinates everything behind the scene. He is the project manager. We didn't have a lot of contact with him but that indicates he does his job and we didn't need to hound. Next up came Miguel and Edvin. These 2 guys did the restoration. They were so so kind! They went above and beyond our expectations. They showed up on time and worked a hard day. Again, Drystar is so fortunate to have these 2 on their team. I highly recommend Drystar!! read more

If you ever have the very unfortunate experience of having your house flooded with inches of water, I hope you will get to work with a company like Drystar Restoration. My family and I were having a mini staycation for the turn of the new year. We were only gone for a day and a half and in that time our house flooded due to a broken water line. You can imagine our grief to discover our ruined furniture, walls, floors and cabinets. After turning off the main water line, I called our normal plumber and he came out and did what he could. He recommended Drystar and I'm glad he did. I spoke with Robert and he assured me that they would be out to my house right away. As soon as they pulled up, they started clearing out the standing water in my house. After, they started to remove the wet furniture and cutting out the drywall that was affected by the water. I stayed in contact with Robert throughout the entire process as he provided updates and educated me about the process. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend or have the confidence and trust in anyone else. read more

7 days before the family (15+ people) are due to show up for Thanksgiving dinner (7 of which would be staying the weekend) and my 2nd bathroom needs major attending to. The shower needed to be torn out and replaced. The toilet needed to be removed and replaced. It was a nightmare. I needed dry wall cut out and replaced, and part of the floor around the toilet cut out and redone. I called 2 places before calling Drystar. The first place was booked and couldn't look at it until the 3rd of December. The second place came out and looked, gave me a decent quote (at this point I would have paid anything) but said they couldn't have someone available until the following Monday due to the holiday. I called Drystar next. The NEXT DAY they had a representative out to inspect and quote. The quote was good and the best thing, they said they could have it done Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. I was scared and nervous but sure enough, they had a crew there Wednesday morning and were finished by 3 p.m. Thank you Drystar!!! You saved my holiday!!! read more

Thank you Drystar! We discovered some water damage and possible mold growth on our son's bedroom closet walls and called a plumber to assess the issue. The plumbers immediately recommended calling Drystar so they could come out and evaluate and treat the situation. I was so completely impressed with how quickly they arrived and the knowledge of Steven Spears and his co-workers. They helped us understand what needed to be done and worked with our insurance company to make sure all of our immediate and future and needs were going to be taken care of. Throughout the entire process Steven was extremely attentive and even got his manager, Rob, in the loop as well. Both Steven and Rob were incredibly helpful in navigating us through every step along the way, always showed up on time and were very easy to work with. This is not a situation anyone wants be be dealing with, especially during a pandemic, but having true professionals such as Steven, Rob and the entire team at Drystar certainly made a stressful situation much more manageable. read more

One of our kids let the upstairs bathtub overflow while we were out of town, causing water damage to the bedroom underneath. We were referred to DryStar by a friend and within minutes of us reaching out, we were on the phone with Abbie and she had Spears and Ryan out ASAP. Spears and Ryan assessed the situation and even came back to work with our insurance adjuster, with whom they worked very well with. Spears and Ryan have answered our endless questions (even our quarantine addled "What day is it again?") Prompt, helpful, knowledgeable, totally non-judgmental of all our craziness, patient, and "southern-boy-to-his-mama" level polite. I came home from work and had a huge mess in my home. The bathroom had leaked into the hallway and my daughters room. My friend who has used Dry Star in the past recommended them so I called their emergency line. Robert was very helpful from the beginning and sent a team to look at the damage. The technicians were very polite and understanding of my concerns. They cleaned all the damage up and even helped me through the process of dealing with my insurance company. After the damage was cleaned up they sent a project manager to help me with all the repairs. Martin was the best. He showed me different options and had the repairs done faster than I could've imagined and my home was back to normal. Dry Star Restoration is a company you hope you never need but when you do they will be there for you. Unfortunately, I have had three major water issues with my house all starting with my hot water heater breaking. Mike and John went above and beyond to help me in my time of need. They worked with my insurance on the first issue and made everything go smooth. They took care of everything. The second and third times I dealt with them directly. They were affordable and considerate of the situation I was going through. I wasn't just money in there pocket, you could tell they cared! I also work long hours and could not meet during normal times, They were always very willing to work around me and very accessible. They can also make all the repairs if any are needed. Drystar provided some flood clean up when a tub over flowed and completely filled a flex air duct in the crawl space. Richard- the owner himself crawled in the crawl space, videoed the problem for me, and completely took care of everything. This property was located in Tonto Basin and within a few hours crews were onsite with fans blowing to dry the space. I have since called them on other projects including a garage fire. Disclaimer--these aren't my personal properties. Nobody should have that kind of luck. I work for a utility company and have properties throughout the state in remote locations. Drystar will go anywhere. I find their prices VERY reasonable compared to other contractors that I regularly use. I will be using Drystar in the future. read more

I called Robert when referred because I had a line burst in my home. He got a team out right away and they were so helpful. Steven walked me through the process and got all the water cleaned up. I was stressed about my home being destroyed but he dried a lot of it as is. In a matter of a few days my home was dried and I had a little bit of repairs that I expected. But nothing like what I expected. I have heard horror stories of restoration companies tearing houses apart, but they dried it out and let me continue with my day to day life. This company was absolutely amazing. Our house flooded to due the negligence that occurred floor replacement by Empire Today. Noah Box and the Drystar Team came out late at night on an emergency call, worked fast to contain and clean up the flooding. They put fans down immediately and ensured the situation was under control before leaving. Noah was courteous, highly responsive, and informative every step of the way. To top it of, Drystar was willing to bill Empire Today directly for the services rendered due to their negligence. Noah and Tristan arrived quickly to my wet laundry area. They assessed the damage and explained every step that would need to be taken to restore the kitchen and laundry a tree ea back to normal. Noah even helped me contact my insurance company to file a claim. Every day they arrived on time, worked efficiently, explained the progress and the next step. Every day they vacuumed and got down on their hands and knees to mop the floor before they left. We are still in the begining stage of this but even a competitive company came to give a quote and said they're doing a great job.
