Elder Hernandez (owner) is such awesome and dedicated handyman. I'm deeply impressed by how meticulously he handled the job. I have never met any contractor who really cares and concerns about what he does more than this guy. How many painters have you met who is up on the ladder like more than 20 ft high and patch up rotten wood areas of my trims thoroughly (he doesn't have to because I have no idea what the conditions of my trim areas like up there high)? Pretty much all contractors would simply paint and wont even mention to the customers about it yet he insisted going backup the ladder multiple trips and took take care of them. I'm genuinely shocked by his tenacity and professionalism. I'm going to call him with any and every projects from now on as long as he is willing to. Superb job. Couldn't be happier!!! read more

Wow! Where to begin! So I wanted to convert a foyer type room into an office space. For that we would need to have some drywall installed and then put up a French door. The prices I was getting from referrals were off the charts. I then came to yelp to see if I could find someone good to do this and came across Drywall & Home Restoration, which is run by Elder Gonzalez. They didn't have many reviews which made me nervous, but the reviews they did have were great! I reached out and was shocked to see he quoted me a very reasonable price for the job! I didn't even haggle back - the price quoted was very fair. I then decided to go ahead with them and hope for the best. And wow! His whole crew is amazing! They all all so courteous and professional. They come and leave on time. They take great care with every task, making sure no mess is made. Every day they would spend time cleaning to make sure they left the entire area clean. Even when it came to painting the wall and door, they were so precise and careful, it made you think this was their own house! I had a pleasure of hiring Elder and his crew on multiple occasions, and every time the experience was impeccable. It is the thoroughness, excellent communication, and little details here and there that took high quality paint job to the next level for me. For example, I recently had a new carpet installed and decided to use this as an opportunity to repaint the room where it was done. The new carpet was thicker than previous and the door to the room wouldn't close anymore. I was planning to cut it myself later (most likely in weeks, knowing myself), but one of the crew members saw it, and suggested to fix it for me, even though it wasn't part of the paint job. It is often not easy to find contractors you want to stick with, but I'm glad that in this case it is a keeper! read more
