So I've been a wreck since the leak was identified and fixed. The plumber was very stressful and took a week to fix the leak issue, but nothing compared to the stress of getting this hole fixed. I reached out to other dry wall companies and many took forever to respond and the one that did literally had me up to my neck with his inconsistency and many canceled appointment. But Dmitrii came out and literally got things squared away. I initially, contacted him Saturday morning after the fourth cancellation from the other service provider and he responded in mins. Scheduled to come out on Labor Day by 3 but came a little earlier. I am extremely happy with his service. He was very professional and neat. Literally had minimal cleaning. That's a major plus to me since I have a toddler in the house, hence why I had to put the plastic to cover the hole. These guys are quite simply amazing! I had bathroom ceiling damage for which I got 3 bids to repair. Dmitrii was very quick to follow up with a competitive price and was available the following Saturday to do the work. On the scheduled day Dmitrii and his helper Tagir came in to assess the situation and explain the process. I had another smaller issue on a wall in another room which they agreed to repair while they were there, again, at a very reasonable price. I contacted several drywall and painting companies, and I am very glad we chose Dmitrii and his team to fix our home. 1) Our house had a bedroom ceiling collapse which I never seen happen before. 2) I contacted several contractors, and Dmitrii was prompt and fast in his response. Other companies were very slow to correspond. One company did an estimate but didn't bother to check the other bedrooms and said they should be fine. However when Like Construction came to my house, one of the first things Dmitrii did was to ask to inspect the other bedrooms in my house to check if any ceilings were at risk for collapse. They had experience in seeing this happen before in many homes they were called to fix. They installed proactive reinforcement screws to support 2 other bedroom ceilings to their proper height on the attic joists. 3) Like Construction worked diligently for 3 days and didn't rush the work since they were careful in installing things properly and with seamless drywall results. Highly recommend Like Construction! They provided us with a reasonable estimate, arrived on-time to complete the work, and finished it in the expected time frame. Very professional and high quality work. We would definitely use them again for future projects. They did a very good job of cleaning up in their work space, not only at the end of the project (taking away all discarded construction materials), but in between visits so the work area was not a mess. This extra effort was greatly appreciated to keep our house clean while the project was ongoing. We had them remove interior of a very large closet and drywall/walls within closet for a large space (13 feet X 8 feet). They also did some electrical work for us to create 3 brand new outlets in the closet area. They put in new drywall, painted (matching color of paint perfectly with prior color on walls), and finished it off like new by putting back the original molding around the space. This project allowed us to have a very clean/neat looking empty closet space where we then installed a brand new closet system with matching drawers, doors, etc. The final product looked excellent - exactly what we had hoped for out of this project!
