He was much more knowledgeable than the other 2 companies during the estimate as well which led to me choosing MB Painting. Mike also had my estimate ready 5 minutes after walking me through all the stucco repairs, input on color schemes, and all the other details the other companies didn't even mention. The other companies also took a few days to get me estimates in writing/email but Mike had his ready on site quickly and was able to walk me through everything & answer any questions I had. We ended up going with a Sherwin-Williams paint scheme that my HOA had already approved of & Mike's crew was on site within a week & finished in 2 days! The crew was on time and took great care of my landscaping & moving some of my belongings so they could prep and paint. This was apparent from the moment I called him, when we had a thorough discussion about exactly what would be painted - what walls, trim, doors, and spaces - to prevent confusion. I was able to get a quote from him on the phone which he honored when he saw the work in person. The work itself was professionally done - Miguel is easy to talk to and communicate with, so that when there was an unexpected issue with oil paint under an existing surface we were able to resolve it properly. Miguel was willing to work extra hours over the weekend to finish on time, even though I suggested he could take the time off. Plus he is a fun guy to spend time with. Overall a great job at a reasonable price, I already have recommended Miguel to friends and would recommend to you without hesitation!

I was leery because of all the horror stories you hear about contractors but George absolutely delivered - above and beyond the expectations he set. I had a few prices and Gastelum was not the cheapest but definitely not the highest. Right about the middle of the road from a cost perspective. But, the service and quality are top notch. The crew (4 guys Monday, including George - 2 guys Tuesday and half day Wednesday) knocked out the job in half the time they committed to AND had the house cleaned up and shiny by mid day Wednesday. Initially, they said they'd be done Friday. Very impressive speed! And the quality, it's amazing how clean the lines are, there's no drips on the walls or drips in the floor. The house looks brand new again after only 2 days! The crew was great and while there was some small talk, they were here to work and they crushed it. They had to fill in some patchwork on the walls as well as color match my ~1200 sq ft home including the garage. There was also old wallpaper that needed to be removed and the wall repainted.
