I noticed a few rings that had a vintage or antique look and were pretty. The store was neat and organized and there is parking in the front. (FYI). Small selection but a local appraiser and the convenience of jewelry repair is nice to have.

After thinking about it for several days decided to take the enough cash and pay the $1350 if I had to. I returned with cash in hand ready to close the deal. Simple, right? The crew was different than last week but the gun was still there. I offered the $1300 and was told that the best they could do was $100 off the price tag, PLUS tax! I said that we had negotiated to $1350 just last week and I was willing to do that still. There was much scrambling around. "Talked to the owner, talked to the manager, the owner was not there, the owner was there", etc. When it was all said and done they would not honor the price they offered last week. The manager was quite rude about the whole thing, although the employees were nice all along. Bottom line is I drove out of my way with cash in hand ready to close a deal. I was treated rudely and offered a worse deal than before, then treated quite indifferently. Both visits had employees going in the back to ask the boss, but no boss (if one was there) ever had the common decency to talk to me in person concerning a rather expensive item. While I have always enjoyed my visits to the Money Man and many gun shops in the area, I will never walk into Gene's again. Done.

After inquiring about items such as name plate necklaces I was advised that personalized gift items were sold on line. I also inquired about a locket and she was able to show me the one that they had in the store but it wasn't quite what I was looking for. I wish the selection was a little bit better. The customer service seemed prompt and attentive. I'd likely stop in from time to time just to see if they have anything that I like.

I was not told this when I purchased it I had already bought another watch from Kay online, and when it arrived, I had to return it since they would not take back the other watch. When I went to return the online order, I was told by the staff that I could return the other one, but then they wouldn't except it because it had been worn which I did wear after three weeks of thinking I had to keep it, very unprofessional and completely unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. I do not recommend this location.
