We were visiting for the weekend and wanted a place that was open late and had drinks to offer. We walked into d's not knowing what to expect. It was karaoke night which was a fun plus. The bartenders were super friendly and very laid back. We got to sample their drinks before we decided what to get. We sat back away from the karaoke room and played jenga. They had a lot of board games to offer. We didn't eat any of the food because we had just ate dinner. I would definitely go back to try their food. It smelled really good. I would have loved to have tried the cider but I ended up leaving because I waited forever in line because the people that run the place kept letting people cut to the front of the line. It is also filled with flies and feels dirty. I cannot speak on the food or drinks because I did not get to try them. I think establishment should respect their patron's time. It's also worth mentioning that it is very very warm inside and they only seem to have fans going to keep it cool. I don't think this place will be much fun in the heat of summer. I first had D's Wicked Cider at a restaurant in Puyallup where their cider was on tap. It was the Baked Apple flavor I believe and I simply loved it. As time went on I had their Naked Apple flavor which I was equally impressed with. I found out not too long after my first cider drink that D's had their own tasting room in Kennewick. Unfortunately their business hours weren't the most generous the one or two occasions that I was passing through the tri cities but finally on one occasion it looked like the time I would be in the cities and their opened business hours might finally match up. Well despite an "Open" sign out the door was locked up tighter than a drum and no other cars were in sight in the parking lot. We even looked at the side of the building to see if there was another entrance we were supposed to be using but no luck. As I have said time and time again businesses get fast star reduction if they can't adhere to their own business hours that they make. I would reduce their score even further but luckily you can get their ciders on tap and in cans at select restaurants and grocery stores so I'm bit more merciful there for that added availability. read more

This review is for their Sunday brunch. Their ciders are usually pretty solid. Went with a gf and they only have two choices for brunch. We had one of each, a biscuits and gravy dish, and a waffle dish. We were the only people there. There was only two employees there, and I'm nearly positive both were hungover from a wild night and wasn't too excited to actually serve us that morning. The guy was pleasant but did kind of rush us. The food came out in like 3 minutes so I'm pretty sure it was made in advance. It was pretty meh... I really don't know what to expect coming here for the first time. I didn't take the time to read through any reviews prior to help with my decision making....my girlfriend told me where we are going...he he. Anyway, glad we came. Much different than I was expecting. I assumed it would be a traditional restaurant/bar until we pulled up in a more industrial setting. We were pleasantly greeted upon entering, the staff was great about the explaining some drink options and, although the menu was limited, the nachos were excellent. Oh! This was our first time and I was a little doubtful since the curb-appeal wasn't there; however, once we walked in I was pleasantly surprised! The interior is very cool with a lot of seating. The patio is amazing, unfortunately, it was rainy and windy so we didn't get to enjoy it. We aren't cider people so we got a flight which they graciously gave to us before the designated time. Home for the holidays and my sister and I made a pit stop at d's for some cider flights. We were not disappointed. We showed up fairly early, got an easy seat at a table, and observed as some musicians set up to play. Nothing fancy, but nice and mellow for an easy evening. Bartenders were incredibly nice and accommodating. We each ordered a flight, ranging from the fruitier options to the dry ciders. All of which we would have ordered again. We also got a plate of dip and veggies/crackers that was amazing--way more flavor than we expected out of a cider when it comes to food. Will I be back? Yes, though I'm not sure when. I like this place just because it's focus is on types of cider. They have a small food selection, just appetizers, but always have a different food truck around to make up for it. There's always entertainment on the weekends and a winery next door. The place is becoming more popular each time we go. If you don't get their early you'll be standing. Anthoni the house manager handled a potentially difficult situation with poise and charm. Patrick and Molly behind the bar were totally helpful with their product knowledge and suggestions. Severely understaffed on weekends. 20-30 minute wait per drink. Could be good venue but perpetually poor service is the standard.

First off, their cider is hands down 5 stars. Many different flavors to try, my favorite is the bare naked or baked apple. My issues mainly lie with the new addition of serving food. It's been a few months since they started so hadn't tried the expansive menu yet. Finally decided to try it as they had recently added more items. We ordered food when the place wasn't particularly busy. It took 45 minutes for nachos to come out, and an hour 15 before we saw the sandwich. Not only was the wait excessive on the food, but it wasn't even hot. It felt as if it had been sitting there for quite a while before brought to us so it was luke warm. You also cannot cash out at a table but have to check out up front. Find that weird if you offer to serve food. I like this place - the cider is great and their events are fun. But please figure out your food or stop serving it. We were told the kitchen is small - with all the seating at this place you should definitely rethink serving food if you can't accommodate food being ordered by that many people. Or expand your kitchen and your staff. We'll be back, just not for the food. read more

Been here so many times and have yet to understand why they can't provide decent ( and by decent, I mean minimally acceptable ) customer service. They have great cider, wine and selection of beers, their food offerings are good, tasty in fact. However, when it takes 45 minutes to be acknowledged in a room of 17 people, well....I just don't get it. We only come to this place because they host some pretty good musicians, some of whom are friends we enjoy supporting. You'd think that D's would WANT to foster relationships with return customers. Nope, every time we patronize this place we are treated with apathy at best, and ignored at the worst. Have never seen the same employees twice, have never been told anyone's name so can't single out any specific employee. We came to hear music the other night and asked if a table could be moved into the almost empty main room. Were told it would take a minute and that was fine with us. Once seated, we were ignored for the next 30 minutes by two bartenders and two waitresses that would stand at the bar talking with each other and patrons at the bar. We were not told a waitress would serve us or if we were expected to go up to the bar to order, so we waited, and watched at least a dozen other customers get served. One woman came in alone and sat down across from us. The male bartender walked right by us, waited on her and returned immediately with her beverage. A female waitress finally came to our table after half an hour and asked if we had been helped. She brought water, menus and said she would check back in a few minutes. Another 20 minutes went by before my husband finally went to the bar to order food and beer. No apologies from female bartender. Now granted, there was a large party of folks in the other room who were being attended to, but that shouldn't take away attention from patrons in the front. If they needed more staff, then they should have made arrangements for it since they had the large party. We were never even acknowledged once seated. We got our food and beer almost an hour after arriving, but were never checked with again. We intended to stay throughout the evening but the blatantly rude lack of customer service made our decision to leave pretty easy. We have given this venue several chances to impress us but each time we are appalled at the attitude of the employees and their inept customer service skills. We called and made reservations on a previous occasion for our party of twelve on a Saturday night specifically to hear the band. When we arrived, the place was packed and no reserved table. They checked their reservations and we were told "it looks like they forgot to reserve the table"... I had to ASK them to please accommodate us which they did begrudgingly. A party of twelve can rack up quite a bill, why wouldn't they be happy to help us out since it was their mistake? Another time we came in the waitress spilled beer all over the table and two of our friends' purses were sodden. Not even an apology. We have brought several different friends and coworkers here and each time have had the worst customer service. We learned our lesson the other night, we will not be returning and we will heartily discourage our friends, family and coworkers from further patronage. read more
