Most shoe stores are self-serve and I decided I needed assistance in finding the right fit. Hunter was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time fitting and finding the right shoes for me. And recommended some brands I wasn't aware of. One of the pairs of Xelero shoes ending up being very uncomfortable and I returned that pair several days later. The Xelero was very comfortable and stable. However, one of the shoe's "tongues" was very uncomfortable. It probably would not affect most people, but I have had issues which affect my ability to walk. I returned the Xelero for a different style of the same brand that worked better for my needs. Josh spent a lot of time assisting me finding the right shoe and fit. I am very satisfied with the service and highly recommend The Heel shoe store for anyone, but especially for anyone who has foot, knee or hip issues.

I have always went to the New Balance Store in Appleton but since this store was close to our home it is why we went there. My husband, son and myself visited on a Saturday in August of this year ( 2018). We went in and my son and myself were both measured. The sales lady appeared incompetent about wide widths and took them over 20 minutes to place 2 simple size order for wide with. The order was then placed and were told it would take around a month or so for our shoes to come in. I get a phone call from a sales woman about 1 week later stating that someone placed the wrong order for my shoes and they did not make my size but they would order several different sizes but this woman was not sure of anything. I told her over the phone that I did not have time to sit there on the phone for 30 minutes debating shoes size and that I would think they should know about shoe size. I went in the store a week after this to get sized once again and the correct order for my shoes, I thought all was fine. I called yesterday ( October 1st) to see where my sons shoes were because it had been since August that we placed his shoe order and to check the status of my shoes. The sales person was utterly clueless. The sales girl said they had no order on file for us even being in the store but there are shoes there but there is no name on them. I am thinking to myself wouldn't a business have a name to an order for product. I asked the sales girl to get into their system and she could enter our name and address and our order would come up. The sales girl told me they have no computers that work. I was so frustrated at this point and told them I would just go to the Appleton store. The sales girl called back and then said, "Oh we have a pair of shoes here but not sure if they are yours or your sons or whose they are?" I told her that I have never in my entire life had experienced such a hassle with getting shoes. I told her we would just go to the Appleton store like I should have because the level of incompetence here is astounding, I wondered how these sales girls even dressed themselves in the morning? So today the phone rings and it is this Vander loop shoes. I asked the girl on the phone if she was a manager, she said she was one of them. I asked her if she wanted to hear customer feedback. She said yes, very rudely!! Then she tried to over talk me, accused me of yelling at her. Extremely unprofessional to say the least. I then again asked her if she wanted to hear from a customer and customer feedback to why I am so frustrated. She then says, "Yes, but accuses me of yelling at her staff." I told her that I am not yelling and would she really want feedback from a customer? She then began to accuse me of yelling at her. I then Yelled at her, "THIS IS YELLING YOU DUMB BITCH!" I slammed the phone up. She then calls me back. I see the caller ID and am like, "Oh now this is harassment." Get this, she calls me back and I answer. I ask her, "What in the world are you doing calling here?" She then said, "I was just calling to tell you I cancelled your order." I told her, "Do not ever call here again, bye bye." I would go bare foot before I ever went to this place of business. Warning for anyone reading this, If you have a special needs child or if you need a special order DO NOT, DO NOT, EVER GO TO THIS STORE! YOU WILL NOT GET HELPED AND THE SALES WOMEN ARE IMCOMPTENT, They make Al Bundy look like a genius!

Went to get some steel toe work boots. I only travel to job sites where I need steel toes 3 or 4…read moredays a year, so I don't need high quality, daily wear boots. Red Wings seem to be top of the line for work boots so not sure they are worth the $$ for someone like me. There was some confusion around ANSI vs ASTM standards, but throughout the visit, Maia was super friendly and helpful. When I am in the market for high quality boots, this is where I'm coming. Service innitially was good I thought , they low balled me really badly on a pawn loan for a .22…read morerifle , it was a 400+ dollar item and the gave me 75.00 on a loan do I thought np I could just pay it back easy and pick it back up because I have a clean record and have purchased guns several times through dunhams and other firearms sellers like Virlee gunworks . I went to pay off and pickup and they started the background and it got a delay as they sometimes do so I waited and waited then called back and they said no update , waited another week they said still no update still in delay , mind you they are perfectly able to either call again for an update or bypass it because the 3day wait was well beyond and it is completely their choice if they want to return the gun or not , but why would they ? They get to keep a 400 dollar gun for 75 what a deal eh ? I will call them one more time and if this isn't settled I will be contacting a firearms rights lawyer and persuing actions . This is just scummy behavior and I understand once the gun is in their posession it is their discretion but they is very obviously purposely done for monitary gain or just plain ignorance , I have NO record and I was always very patient with them , no raising of voice or anything erraric that would ever suggest they would have cause to keep my firearm . I have already contacted nics about this and the first thing they asked was "did the shop call us back" us meaning nics , they had not . This is bad even for a pawn shop .

Not only did I walk out of there with everything I needed, but I did so in 30 minutes, having bought everything for an extremely reasonable price! The service could not have been better. Bravo. Dubois made it pretty easy for us - almost the entire wedding party was from out-of-state, but we were able to submit measurements online remotely. There were a few bumps with this (e.g. a few people submitted measurements online but they weren't received and we had to call them in a second time, etc.) but overall it was helpful. On the wedding weekend, they accommodated a 3-hour appointment to allow all of the groomsmen to try on their tuxes, make alterations if needed and even pull new sizes off the rack if it was clear something wasn't going to fit even if it was altered. We were happy with the way the group looked. Overall, a good experience and would recommend them to others.
