BUT I had gotten a product with a wrong label - I called the store to tell them about it, and was told I would get a coupon for a free replacement. most of the staff is very helpful at the store location, I have spent literally 2 1/2 hours on the phone regarding problems with a delivery. I spoke with a manager regarding the issues and was told that it could be due to my iPhone, I was told that it could be due to my VPN, I was also told it could be regarding my Internet connection and was told to use incognito as a browser. The first thing I am going to say is that I will not change my phone to shop at Meijer that is obvious. Regarding my Internet connection, I tried placing an online order for delivery when I was in the city, as well as at my home residence. Neither worked I spoke with the manager in Customer Service And asked her to start an IT ticket and she refused because I was told I needed to contact my bank and I have used multiple other stores online delivery options that have not had any problems. Because it is a Friday and I was not able to contact my bank after hours, she blatantly refused to place a trouble ticket with the IT team. I will be moving stores hope if you're having problems you do the same. The blame game is all they are doing to compensate for their lack of supporting their customers. read more

I am a GB transplant as of late last year so was pleasantly surprised to find a Meijer. This one is laid out the same as most so it's familiar. The produce section at this one is a tad lacking compared to my normal meijer back home. That being said, they have more vegetarian options than most other stores locally so it's still a win for me. read more

I had a horrible experience at this Meijer. I was using the self checkout and as I was leaving an employee stopped me and accused me of stealing. I showed her my receipt but unbeknownst to me one of my items was not on there. I do have auditory processing issues and likely didn't notice that the item didn't scan correctly. This was all fine and totally my bad, but then the lady started yelling at me and grabbing my cart. She threatened to take all my stuff, even though everything else was paid for! I convinced her to let me leave by having her take the item that hadn't scanned and my credit card and check it out for me. I was shaken by this and absolutely will never return to any Meijer store again. read more

Probably my last time shopping at Meijer in Green Bay. Customer service has rocketed down hill since opening. Employees do not acknowledge you as they used to, they are not friendly, no smiling, and are not able to assist typically saying " that is not my department" when asking to find something. This has been the last 3 times I have been there, and not only to me but I have seen it over and over again with others. All the self checkouts are open and only 1 or 2 registers open with staff. With rising prices I do not expect to go to a grocery store to check out my own items. I could go on and on but won't. I used to enjoy going there weekly but not any more. This store has the potential of being spectacularly nice. However, I'm afraid that the produce department is so poorly managed, that I feel that it drags down the whole store to where my family no longer wishes to shop there. All the plastic boxed lettuce is usually wilted and near ready for disposal, yet, there it is on display for sale. The prepackaged basil looks ready for the trash. Most, if not all, of the vegetables are dirty, poorly displayed, and unhealthy looking. I would strongly encourage a regional manager to pay a surprise visit for inspection to see for themselves. (I've let them know that.) In the near future, I will make another visit to see if any noticeable changes have been made to the produce area for the better. Until that time, 3 stars. read more

Meijer grocery store is the last store I'd stop into for groceries, but I think it's just because I'm used to my usual shopping places. It's a great grocery store, with a large selection of items including some exotic fruits I'd never before encountered. The staff is super friendly and they go out of their way to make your shopping experience delightful. For instance, after I expressed curiosity over 1 of the alien fruits the took one in back to cut up so I could taste it for the first time, and this fruit wasn't apple sized, it was larger than a giant watermelon sized. I thought that was extremely thoughtful of them to do. I'm unfamiliar with the stores layout but the employees were willing to go above and beyond in assisting me in my search for certain items. The store is very clean, which is important, and my daughter and I love that there's a Starbucks inside that you can visit. I should really shop there more frequently, because whenever I go there I actually enjoy getting groceries, which is very unusual for me. I recommend going to Meijers just to see what it's like if you haven't already, I think it's worth it, personally. read more

I thought I'd give Meijer Foods a try as I am unhappy with the MegaMart I have been going to. I had high expectations for Meijer from what I had heard from others but sadly those expectations were dashed within 15 minutes of entering the store. I stopped at the Deli to buy two pounds of sliced roast beef and ham. When I walked up to the counter for service the two Deli Clerks were engaged in a conversation and completely ignored me. Finally one of the people acknowledged my presence. I explained that I would like one pound of Meijer roast beef and one pound of Meijer ham, as both were on sale and clearly marked with signs on the countertop and in front of the meats. Well, the Deli Clerk says, "You need to be more specific about what you want!" I said, "The meat with the sale signs right in front of each of them". The Deli Clerk could not seem to comprehend what that common sense statement meant, or just didn't give a care. After repeating it three times I gave up with trying to get what I wanted, left my half full cart there, and walked out the door. I will not return. If a clerk doesn't even know what the sale items are and refuses to find out for themselves then I'm not wasting my time educating them. It's not my job. Meijer, you've lost a potential customer because you don't train nor supervise your employees. read more

This is a very nice grocery store that has a lot of extra stuff for pretty good prices. The parking lot is very big and has a lot of stop signs, which helps a lot of the flow. It's usually pretty busy but you can get what you need and get put pretty fast. They have a Starbucks in their store that has a big menu and their staff are very nice. The deli section and the meat section are very large and also have a wide selection. I'm very impressed with their organic produce and other organic food. I seem to find something different every time I go. The store is very big and has a lot of extra goodies around the store. The middle section is full of home goods and clothing. I was very surprised at the quality and variety in these sections. The wine and spirits department is something different but similar to a Target in my opinion. Not much of a wide variety but it has the general picks and pretty good prices. Overall it was fast to get through the checkout lines and the self checkouts are really fast as well. I went in knowing it would be packed due to just opening. This store is so large that even with a full parking lot it did not feel crowded for me. I walked the entire store and was pleased with the quality and quantity of the products they offered. I will be shopping here in the future due to the grocery selections alone. Apple pears are a thing people! I would rate their prices and quality somewhere between a Whole Foods meets Walmart. The store was extremely well stocked for how busy they were and once we got in the crazy long line it moved swiftly. I took away a star because the cashier broke my eggs so I had to leave with out that. I will for sure stop in again. read more

Meijer has a lot of good deals at times but you need to watch their sales. Their produce can be priced high at times which can leave it being old and over priced. I'm glad to see that there is a Meijer in Green Bay but whoever designed the parking lot was not thinking because it is a disaster. The online grocery delivery application at the GreenBay, Wisconsin store is a joke!! Spent two hours setting up an order and filling out app. Could not get any help online or over the phone. Nice clean store with a lot of stuff to choose from. The prices are competitive when there is a sale but it seems a little pricey when no sale. However they seem to carry a slightly superior product compared to other big box stores. read more

I was quite hesitant to shop at Meijer when it first opened and also thought it wouldn't be worth driving the 15 minutes across town, however I will say I soon became a big fan. Meijer often has some super awesome deals and the produce that I have bought has been excellent. Meijer has a reward card "mPerks" you can sign up for and get rewarded for shopping there as well as load coupons onto your card. Although I do like Meijer I would say that not everything is a deal or cheap there. It is a great place, just have to know your prices on some things such as health and beauty supplies. Customer service is excellent at Meijer. Whenever I have had something ring up the wrong price or a coupon not work that is on the app the employees are awesome about just changing the price or overriding the system and putting the coupon on. The employees do go way above and beyond at the checkouts. read more

I am happy see to this business move to the area. Our Michigan relatives have always enjoyed shopping at Meijers. This location has a lot to offer. I love the produce selection and hope they carry Michigan apples and cherries. My only downfall is many times when I don't want to do self-checkout, they don't have enough cashiers available. We ordered through online and was supposed to receive grocieries on 4/9/20. We called at 7 PM as we did not get any text or call between 7-8 PM. Some guy answered who was extremely rude. Then he transferred us to whoever takes care of online orders and then they disconected us. How RUDE! not going back to this store ever! read more

On the first weekend of its opening, Meijer was crowded and chaotic, there was literally a line to the back of the store full of people waiting to check out. Lacking an identity, Meijer is just another Walmart sized store. With impromptu stops in the middle of walkways for things like wheel spinning and free hot dogs( which were cold as ice). The store lacked a decent flow which most stores have. I was in the store for 15 minutes before I realized that waiting in line for 2 hours for 4 items isn't my cup of tea and I left. My experience today was simply deplorable. I live in Manitowoc. Yesterday we purchased just over $40 worth of merchandise from Meijer in Green Bay. This morning, I elected to get up early so that we could spend more time together as a family today, and drive to Green Bay to exchange, not return yes exchange a sweater for my wife for a different size. I walked in at 7:06 AM only to find the customer service desk does not open up until 8 AM. I immediately thought to myself, that seems a little strange for a store of this size. I proceeded to ask one employee if there's anyway I can exchange the sweater for a different size. She said no our customer service desk doesn't open up until 8 o'clock. I said so I really need to wait 54 minutes until I can make this exchange? She said yes. I then asked another associate that appeared to be responsible for the cashiers if there's anyway I can exchange this. She stated no, that they got yelled at when they open their customer service desk earlier by their manager. If retailers want to know why I spent almost 60 percent of our $3000 Christmas budget on Amazon this year, this is a great example why. So, I am driving back home to get everything that I purchased yesterday and bring the entire $40 back. I will gladly go to Walmart and target to get the things that I purchased yesterday from Meijer. Remember, at the beginning of my venting, I stated that I live in Manitowoc. Meijer is building a new store in Manitowoc sometime this year. I will be sharing this experience with everyone I know including my neighbor across the street Who has been doing nothing but bragging about Meijer. I am truly disappointed as I was very impressed with the merchandising of the store as well as the prices and just the general feel. However, I will absolutely not give my money to someone who will not go out of their way to take care of a customer. And, I don't think this would've been going out of the way as it was a simple exchange. read more

I was there the other day. It was so dirty. I brought it to the managers attention with pictures (steven) and he chuckled while saying "yeah i know, ive had 2 cart people not show up today", then walked away from me. Garbage was everywhere in cart area, garbage can was over flowing, and random napkins reciepts and empty soda containers throughout the store. When i was leaving he was standing by the cashiers laughing and joking around with them. Pardon me but if you have employees not show up then shouldnt it be your job as a manager to pick up that slack?! Just disgusted. They gave walmart a good name, smh read more

The store was very confusing to find things. The service is very slow and the prices are way too high for everything. After two hour of shopping we had to wait in line for a half hour to check out. Out of 27 registers only 7 were open. I would not recommend going there it's a waste of time read more

The store is about 20 minutes out of my way so I just made my first visit last weekend. I thought the deli, meat department, and bakery area were outstanding. If there were a store on the East side of Green Bay I would probably shop there because those three departments were so impressive. The employees were all very friendly, and understandably being new didn't know where everything was, but at least made an effort to help me. I found their regular shelf prices to be more in line with Pick & Save than Walmart, but their sale prices were comparable or lower than Walmart. Obviously only being open for a few weeks they are insanely busy and parking was a bit of an issue. I think it's a nice addition to grocery and general merchandise shopping in the Green Bay area and hope they decide to build on the east side of Green Bay. I downloaded their app and find it to be easy to use with nice offers. It's worth checking out but being as how it's out of my way and my time is always so limited I don't know how often I'll make it there. read more
