I went in wanting a human hair wig. She told me the pros and cons of that and a synthetic wig. She was spot on - I would not have been able to able to care for the human hair wig. The synthetic wig (with the curls permanently in place) was just what I needed. Wash and shake and air dry. Looked most like the naturally curly hair that I had before chemo.
