I made an appointment to see about getting a wig... this was my first time ever buying a wig.. the staff was wonderfull, was great on showing me what I needed to know, how to take of the wig, what products to use on it, how to wash it and everything!!! Could not be any more pleased than I was after finding this gem. I thought I would have to go to Dallas to get a perfect wig after chemo. I had the sweetest, companionate, helpful and knowledgeable lady helping me. I would HIGHLY recommend this small shop. She also explained the correct way to care for my wig. I went in wanting a human hair wig. She told me the pros and cons of that and a synthetic wig. She was spot on - I would not have been able to able to care for the human hair wig. The synthetic wig (with the curls permanently in place) was just what I needed. Wash and shake and air dry. Looked most like the naturally curly hair that I had before chemo. We received the most thoughtful and caring service today in looking for wig and head covering solutions for our new beloved chemo patient. Without an appointment, the owner spent over two hours with us retrieving and fitting wigs to find just the right solution. She was patient and helpful, explaining the many choices and options on features, styles and colors. They have a wide selection of styles in stock as well as a variety of hats, scarves, head coverings, and other bangles. It was refreshing and rewarding to work with someone who truly cares about her customers happiness and well-being. We would send anyone needing assistance with wigs to Wigit. My mom and I went there looking for some wigs since she's going through chemo. We came in an hour before they closed in a Saturday not too long before Thanksgiving. When my mom found the wig she wanted to leave with, the owner told us she couldn't sell it as is since it was too frayed. We'd have to order the wig and she would do 2 day delivery that way she could have the wig before thanksgiving. My mom wanted to look at some other wigs before leaving and the lady asked if we could come back another day because they were closing in 10 minutes. I was mad but decided to let it go. When I called to see if the wig had come in the day before Thanksgiving, one of the girls said she never received the wig. It wasn't until after I voiced my frustrations that the lady I spoke to called my mom letting her know of the conversation and could I call her back. We found out that the wig was on back order and wouldn't get in until December 15th. I was not happy at all and the lady I spoke with agreed someone should have called up letting us know the wig was not coming in on time. Needless to say we went somewhere else and got the wigs the same day and my mom was thrilled with their service. I was not happy with lack of communication, rushing us out, and overall not great service from the ladies at WigIt. I would not recommend for cancer patients. read more

This is a place where anyone with hair issues should be able to go and find something to meet their needs. Lots of inventory wigs, hair pieces, extensions, turbans, hats, etc. The staff here is wonderful. I have spent over $500 here and had a hair piece I bought on line that needed a trim. They trimmed it once but not enough. Took it back for additional trim and had first encounter with the owner. She is rude and an overall unhappy person who refused to trim it because I didn't buy from her. She did not give that as her reason, but when another staffer was willing to trim it she told her no. If I need additional hair products while going through chemo, I will call to make sure this bitter lady is not there. Way to be compassionate with cancer patients and customers. Would like to give it 5 stars but due to the owner will only rate it 3. read more
