I watched as my tire pressure monitor showed that my front tire was losing air rapidly. Luckily, I had run flat tires that enabled me to travel safely until I reached Beckley. As it was Sunday I found a hotel and planned to call the local tire dealers on Monday to find a replacement run flat tire so that I could continue home. I called every tire dealer, Chevy dealer and even the tire manufacturer (Michelin) to source a tire for my car. Nearly no one could help me. Several tire dealers told me that only the Chevy dealer could mount the run flats and the soonest I could get a tire would be 3 days! Everyone but Stanaford Tire in Beckley. Pete at Stanaford assured me that I would have a tire first thing the next morning and in spite of what others were saying, they could mount and balance the tires with no problem. Sure enough, early the next day, I got a call from Pete. He said the tire was in. I drove over to the shop. As soon as I arrived and told them who I was, they had me bring the car into the shop. The technician got to work immediately. They removed the wheel, changed out the tire, balanced it and reinstalled the new tire/wheel assembly in less than 30 minutes. I have bought numerous tires from Goodyear and Firestone dealers and from major chains like Discount Tire, etc., and I have never received service as good as from Stanaford Tire. When I talk about service, I mean they are customer friendly, can do, with knowledgeable technicians who are honest. The shop is no nonsense, fair and provides services at fair prices for an excellent value. I would HIGHLY recommend Stanaford Tire to anyone in need of tire service.

Up till then very happy. Took my Toyota in for collision repair. All of a sudden over 3 months to "maybe" repair. but not now. Too busy. Mostly blamed overloaded with hail damaged cars. Then stated that the hail damages weren't as much a problem because of paintless dent removal. Wanted to redo estimate - said the 1st one was "sloppy" - meaning too low I guess. Basically refused to accept my business. Really wanted them to fix my Toyota because I liked the job on my truck. And no i didn't shoot my mouth or otherwise - just disappointed. I was traveling through Fayetteville on my way from Florida to Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, my brakes failed and I crashed into another vehicle. Fortunately the truck was still drivable but obviously needed the brakes repaired. The truck had to be towed. Before I even got to the shop, they had called River Expeditions (Amazing White water rafting place across the street) and had arranged for me to go up there and kill the day because I had my puppy with me. Josh (amazing and knowledgeable owner) and his amazing tech custom made new brake lines to replace the rusted ones, that basically exploded. Mind you, I had over $1000 in brake work done in Florida to make sure my vehicle was "safe" for the 1400 mile trek. These folks treated me like family and it was very refreshing. Josh's mother was running the office due to an illness with the usual office woman. She was amazing too! She takes a lot of "notes" to make sure nothing is forgotten. I have never had a car repair experience like this. I am being 100 when I say that. I can never thanks these folks enough. They had me safely back on the road in about 4 hours. They really look out for "travelers". Sooo friendly and proud of their business. I love it! So refreshing to know there are still amazing people in this world.
