DTLA Window Tint was recommended by my dealership and was told that Teddy's shop was their go to shop for all of their vehicles. After reading the reviews I was convinced and reached out via Yelp. Scheduling was easy and Teddy set me up with pricing and an appointment in less than 24 hours. I showed up for my appointment and was greeted by Teddy. He explained the different tint levels and what I should expect. I asked for his advice and decided to go for it, 10/10! He never tried to upsell me or even ask for a review. He was kind and courteous--even offering me a beverage while I waited. Thanks Teddy and his team for the great work! ------ Update: There was a slight scratch on one of the films. I reached out a week after the installation. Without hesitation, I was offered a replacement. Teddy inspected the windows and graciously replaced another as it didn't meet his standards.

Teddy and his team were incredibly kind and helped me at a very reasonable price! I recently got a 2026 Tesla Model Y, and they honestly told me that the new vehicle already comes with tinted roof and rear windows, so there was no need to spend extra money. When I was deciding on the tint shade, they even brought out a heat rejection meter to compare the levels for me. Absolutely the best!! read more

Teddy replaced a botched windshield tint I got from another tint shop. I try to go out of my way to find shops that the owner works on my car directly. I'm very OCD like that. I originally wanted to take to his shop but they didn't carry the shade I want, which is no fault of his own. After he replaced the tint, he told me the tint is lifetime warrantied. I was never told this at the previous shop I got it tinted at. Also, it doesn't seem like he takes on more than he can chew so he has time to work on each car without rushing it. read more

Teddy and the guys at DTLA did a phenomenal job tinting my windows for a fair price! $250 out the door and they finished in an hour while I waited in the shop. Plus there's an el pollo loco across the street if you need to get lunch lol. All in all, I'd definitely recommend these guys! read more

Finally after many years of having my car I decided to go in for a car tint. I was trying to find an affordable but good quality work. And stumbled upon across DTLA window tint. Teddy responded in a timely manner. Teddy showed me samples of the tint and gave me suggestions in the end I went with 35 for the front window and 20 for the back. It came out really good and I am really happy with the results. He also offers life time warranty. The service was really good and he also offered drinks like water or soda while you wait. My fiance found this place and made an appointment to take my car in for tints. We arrived 15 minutes early and they took my car in right away. Teddy showed us samples of the tints and which ones would be the best options for the front and back of my car! I greatly appreciate that one of the workers pointed out that my window was scratched already before he started working on it (l didn't know it was scratched). When the worker was done, he asked us to check the windows. I appreciate him repeating that l have life time warranty and if the spots l found didn't go away within a week, l can bring in my car and they'll check it. Service was great! Teddy's work is impeccable! I've taken all three of my vehicles to DTLA Tint and have no regrets. Keep in mind he is extremely busy and you may need to book 1-2 weeks ahead but it is worth the wait. He uses SolarGard and offers a lifetime warranty. He walks you through the different grades and will add test Strips to the window, so you can see exactly how the grade Of the tint looks from inside your vehicle. He is a great guy and I continue to bring my cars to him Because of the quality of work and his professionalism. read more

I owned the Sienna for almost five years and never had an issue with the ceramic tint. It was a no brainer to contact Edwin for the tint job on my new Sequoia. I set an appointment with Edwin, and as expected he showed up on time. I went with the upgraded ceramic film and Edwin got to work. A couple of hours later, the tint job was done and as expected, the tint on my Sequoia looks like it was factory installed. Price for the job was very fair considering how large my vehicle is and was way less than what others were charging me for regular film. If you're in need of a tint job, contact Edwin. When we arrived for our appointment, Cris walked us through the options of tint based on our needs and gave us a two hour turn around. We are so pleased by the quality of material, install and price. We had all the windows of our vehicle tinted and couldn't be happier. Our new tint keeps the heat and harmful sun rays at bay and now car rides are so much more comfortable and enjoyable. The additional privacy is also a huge plus! After driving with it for a few days, I realized it was too much and decided to go back to Bravo and change the front side windows to 15% (sorry Cris -- I should've listened... ). I had my 2018 Accord tinted at DTLA Window Tint back in March '20. They were very helpful and patient with my indecisiveness about what level of tint to get. Teddy put some samples on the glass and described to me what each darkness would be like at night. Their waiting area was clean and comfortable, and the job did not take long at all. Watching them work a bit really shows how impressive their craftsmanship is getting the tint cut perfectly and installing it with no flaws. I did not shop around much, but I feel I got a good deal and definitely had great service. The tint is high quality and comes with a warranty. Location is great too. If you live in SoCal you NEED ceramic tint, and in my opinion DTLA Window Tint place is the place to get it. read more

Had a great experience with teddy and Richard, I took my Kia Forte 2019 to them and they performed the tints faster than expected, they told me the car would be ready in a hour and a half but was completed in one hour, they really care about making you leave with a smile and satisfied, the tiny job is amazing any my car looks absolutely gorgeous, these guys are very good at their jobs and they enjoy doing it, very professional individuals, i definitely recommend going to these guys for your tints, also very cheap, other places were charging 220 for my 2019 Kia Forte, these guys did it for 160, thanks teddy and Richard! Ok so I use to think that tint cant be so different i mean theres not much difference to our eyes.. But boy was i wrong the feeling of the sun on my skin was different.. I felt less of the burning sensation that we feel inside the car when we drive...i had ceramic tint on my baby and I thought it was the best for the car.. This time it covers more sun n looks kool plus it has this purple shine to it that makes my car stand out.. This place is amazing tint should be done by Teddy he is so nice.. Very helpful and funny.. They have Netflix so I had something to keep my eyes on.. I will most definitely recommend Teddy to anyone n everyone read more

I had a lot of questions about the different types of tint, and he answered them patiently. Teddy is amazing. Called him scheduled an appointment. Pulled up and my Jeep was done in 2 hours. Really good work, great price and very friendly and professional. Perfectionist is the only way to describe Teddy when it comes to window tint. I took my Tesla Model Y and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. Model Y is one of the hardest car to tint and Teddy did a fantastic job on my car. read more
