Got my Model Y tinted here and they did a really clean job. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I checked a few places and this spot was on the higher side, but they know how to work on Teslas so I didn't want to risk going somewhere cheaper. Went with XPEL tint and the heat reduction makes a big difference, especially in SoCal. Car looks way better now and the tint came out exactly how I wanted. No bubbles, no gaps, very clean install. They do a lot of Teslas here so that made me feel more comfortable. Finished on time and everything looked perfect when I picked it up. I requested quotes around my area via the yelp projects service and found a couple of top tier services. I was going to take delivery of my new 2026 corvette stingray and had to get it protected. Yuni reached out to me and provided me detailed quotes for everything I asked for. I had specific things I wanted such as XPEL Prime XR Black tints, front end PPF, and ceramic coating. She gave me reasonable and competitive quotes, and was very nice via text. Prices and services were transparent. On the day of services, we walked around my car and inspected everything (car was brand new). We also inspected everything together after the services. I would also like to note, they did not take my car out for a joy ride--straight to the shop. For tints, I opted for XPEL Prime XR BLACK over the signature XPEL Prime XR Plus because I had done research and was not a fan of the blue hue the XR Plus gave off. I also opted for 70% windshield and 45% doors because I still wanted people to see my beautiful red interior. I was a bit worried about police pulling me over, so went lighter on the front windshield. I will 100% recommend the percentages and the nano ceramic film, even on the windshield. It does wonders for the heat rejection and looks so good. For full front PPF (paint protection film), I opted for the front end package (XPEL ultimate fusion) which included front bumper, hood, fenders, side mirrors, the painted panels in the front essentially, and Yuni also threw in A pillars, the top above my windshield and door edges. The original quote did not include the black glossy areas (carbon flash) which I did not really understand but ended up adding to my package. I do wish I had understood this better because I thought it was included but she gave me great advice and we included it. For ceramic coating, I opted for XPEL fusion plus. It is beautiful. Entire car except rims. I do wish rims were included, I asked Yuni about them who did not try to upsell me. She said it wouldn't last as long, it's a lot of labor to include. Something you need to know about XPEL ceramic coating is they require you to use their ceramic boost product and have an annual inspection. (Be warned!) Overall, I am pleased with the workmanship and service provided. There are a few minor defects I found (one was a spot below the rear windshield on the passenger side. another was on the front carbon flash glossy areas and on the passenger side mirror which Yuni said she would correct. She mentioned she would follow up in a month, and if still there after the curing process, she would correct. I would say the job is 95% perfect, the 5% to be included once the remaining defects are corrected, but all in all, I would recommend Xpel Final Fit. It's incredibly important to have the right installer when it comes to these services because I've seen many nightmares online--you have installers taking cars out for joy rides, terribly installed films, bankrupt companies, you can name them all. You won't get that here. After everything, Yuni wrote a handwritten card which is a very nice touch, she is awesome and a fantastic business owner. Yuni runs a professional tinting and ppf shop. These guys are pros. She's also super nice, she gave me a cold water when I dropped off my car and when I picked it up. Everything is computer cut so you don't have to worry about amateurs using a blade on the body of your car or windows. Having owned a Tesla before with xpel prime xr plus, I knew this was the only tint to go with. Truly feel the heat reduction in this hot LA weather. And for the full frontal ppf she recommended xpel's ultimate fusion which is hydrophobic making cleaning very easy. Yuni is probably the nicest person I've dealt with while shopping for tints/ppf. Very happy with my tint job. I originally booked at another popular shop in Alhambra who does a lot of 3M tint, but after some research, I decided I wanted XPEL instead. *Bc of the bluish tinge the tint has. So anyway, did some Yelp searches, found this place all the way in LA. They initially missed my call, but Yuni returned my call same day. I was somewhat apprehensive at first because they didn't have a ton of reviews, but she explained when I finally met her that they are technically a pandemic business, BUT have been in the biz forever AND do a lot of work on teslas/rivians etc. They also used to work directly with dealerships to tint and do PPF but covid kinda slowed that down so they pivoted their business a bit. So the fact that they only worked with dealerships tells me they' do quality work. Anyway, long story short, they were able to move my original appt up by almost a week because of a cancellation. Yuni was super informative about the types of tint they have and had samples to show as well. Going in, I already knew I wanted ceramic and something high quality because my car is almost all windows......gotta prevent those UV rays from frying my skin.... I decided upon XPEL XR plus ceramic tint: front windshied 55%, sides 20%, entire roof 35% and I'm more than happy with my choice. The tint job took about 6 hours ish They have a small lounge for people to relax in with cushy couches, Korean snacks and chocolates, Evian water?!?!! (won the lottery here) AND a super chill dog that kinda hangs out. As a side bonus, they did PPF on my door handles!! Super sweet. My tint job was also spectacular--haven't felt my skin sizzling ever since. I could drive around with my air completely off and feel just fine. That ceramic really does wonders y'all.
