However when I got there, he quoted me $240 because he had to install a custom bracket for the rear camera. (The custom bracket was just a piece of plastic taped to the rear headrest.) I did not have much time so I agreed to do it. A couple months later, the dash cam stopped working. When I contacted him regarding the issue, he quoted me $80 for a diagnostics fee. Of course, my luck struck and the convertible top stopped working today, which made accessing the rear window extremely difficult since it couldn't be put halfway down. To make matters harder, there are two tabs on each side that make getting into the corners almost impossible (see picture). Lino was super upfront and explained that without the top opening, it would be a tough job and he couldn't guarantee a 100% bubble-free installation. But after about three hours, it came out perfect! He pointed out a few tiny imperfections that will dry up and disappear as it cures, but reassured me that if anything is still there after a week, I can just bring it back and he'll fix it. What impressed me most is that even though the original quote assumed the top would come down to make the labor easier, he didn't charge me a dime extra for the additional effort. I highly recommend Top Tint Shop! They are super honest, friendly, and skilled at what they do. Plus, the waiting room is really comfortable, featuring a big puffy leather couch and complimentary snacks. I'll definitely be back to bring my wife's car to get the side windows tinted as well.

Next morning comes and Aren was very communicative about when he would arrive, keeping us updated with his ETA. He parked in the garage and set to work repairing the cracks and afterwards, sealing it. Total time was probably half an hour to an hour, and in the meanwhile he answered all our questions, and even offered us some tostada style chips covered in churro seasoning. The repair was finished in no time, and he was very honest about what it would look like and if it would disappear (spoiler alert: was a bad hit so it won't be invisible unfortunately) It was fine to me. I appreciated the repair and timeliness, and also good value. Thanks Aren!

He's been telling me that the scar cannot be removed and you will still see it. What is the point to fix it then? He charged me $145 for one small little chip ( including his travel fee) when he doesn't even have a shop anyway. I told him that I am not happy about the results, but HE SAID HE IS SO HAPPY ABOUT IT. HE WAS SATISFIED WITH HIS WORK. I guess He doesn't care about the customers, but only his feelings. He offered me to clean windows with special tools, but you will be disappointed. Totally NOT WORTH IT. I just got ripped off. I have to look for another repair shop for sure.

I just drove all the way to this shop deep into Hollywood (40 minutes away) and after dodging a bunch of homeless encampments, tents and plies of trash I finally arrived, but it was short lived, as I had to leave after having a poor customer experience with David! He was condescending and smirking while speaking to me, the two things I hate about people. Right away he degraded my vehicle and wheels and said see "look at this (Range rover much better) that's why people don't buy these cars". This is crazy, I can afford those vehicles cash no problem but I don't put my money into cars, I have real estate and other investments but to be treated this way is appalling. (Major reason why I stay out of pretentious Hollywood) He then complained that he couldn't do my rims because they had some scuff marks? He also said maybe he cannot do my tail lights because they have a 1 inch dip and also couldn't do the emblems?? Seriously?? I've had my emblems done many times, before with no issues. This was amatuer-ish. Their "crew" also doesn't use Plasti-dip he was using a Rustoleum Metallic dark grey, not a Matte Black, and also didn't have any 40 or 45% or 50% tint film, which should be standard for any "major Tint shop". I also run a business and it doesn't matter what my customers drive or what their "Title" is, the only thing that matters is how you treat your customers! Now I have to leave a bad review, which I didn't want to do. Update: Saying "We apologize that you felt that way" is the same as saying "I'm upset that you left a bad review". Don't you know that Mark? That's customer service 101. What you should say is "We apologize for the bad experience you had and we are working to not make the same mistake in the future. ---That is a real apology! read more

I normally don't leave reviews but I have had one of the worst experience on my car . I took in my Tesla model y & they shorted out the computer!! They didn't properly lay a towel down & wet my whole system & when I told them about it they denied all claims & made it seem like It was already messed up . The tint was HORRIBLE ! Bubbles everywhere , there were gaps in almost every window . There were really bad dirt streaks in the back windows . I also recommended my friend this place for ppf prior to this experience & they ALSO DID A HORRIBLE JOB ! Everyone seemed lazy & just careless there was a lot of scratches on the side of the doors that weren't there prior & when my friend asked them they also denied all claims & got defensive claiming they didn't do anything wrong but when it came to their payment David was extremely nice & tried to give me a different price than what we agreed on. When I denied his extra charges he got defensive & just seemed extremely bothered it made me feel pressured to pay extra for getting my car messed up ! There was a lot of bubbles & untucked edges . The bottom of the doors were horribly done that in less than a week there was a lot of lifting & dirt everywhere ! their communication is horrible & don't take accountability for their mistakes ! I'm completely horrified by my experience coming here & would definitely recommend you to think twice about getting ur car done here ! At this point I might as well have wrapped my car myself ! I could've done a better job with no scratches & less bubbles . I hope he doesn't treat his wife like he treats his customers read more

Service was fast, they were very accommodating, the owner was EXTREMELY fast at responding, and last but not least they had great customer service. One important thing to note is that they kept their cool even after dealing with my nagging mother who tagged along. David never pressured me on getting the full front only or the full body. I first chose the full front because it was the cheaper option but then I looked at my daily vehicle and saw multiple door marks on the rear passenger doors. Needless to say, that was all to convince me to go full body PPF. If I'm getting PPF on a nice car, I might as well get it all over just in case some jerk carelessly opens their door. Follow these instructions to make the PPF have better shine and last long. If you decide to get PPF, please remember that you must: 1) HAND WASH your car every 2 weeks because if it gets too dusty/dirty, then it could potentially get under the film bonding the adhesive to slowly peel off, 2) purchase microfiber towels to easily remove dust/dirt from the vehicle, 3) purchase a waterless car wash from amazon to keep the shine. Vehicle: Tesla Model X Services: Window Tinting and PPF on full body. Window Tinting Levels: 70% tint on rear view window and rear passenger windows and 30% tint on the driver and front passenger window. i was recently searching the web for the best tinting shops around LA and i came across Hollywood tint called them and i got right answers. Knowing the field i knew what i was facing when tinting my vehicle: 1- bad quality tint . 2- bad quality of craftsmanship. 3-bad service. 4-high or too low prices. 5-lifetime warranty. But this guys answered everything right had the price based on the vehicle maker and year and to top off they only sale nano ceramic film which are the best for solar heat rejection /99% of uv's protection ! i decided to go for it when i arrived edwin and wilber were very nice and polite receive me in and showed me the levels of tint putting at front that any color in the front 2 passenger and driver door would be illegal which was nice .i went for illegal color 20% all around and left the shop for a coffee they said i was going to demorate 2:30 hours with a car wash ! when and came back after a txt from Edwin letting me know that the car was actually ready. when i saw my i3 Bmw i couldn't believe it !THE CAR LOOKED FANTASTIC!! very clean job and the car was washed as well just what he said he would be! can't say enough about this guys they take their job very serious and i understand being the owners themselves is a must. i highly recumbent them to anybody in los angeles area!.- Valerie. read more

I Love Rapid Window Tinting. I have had atleast 12 cars tinted here( that I can remember ) and this is literally THE ONLY place I trust to Tint my vehicles. The work is very precise and always looks Good, they wipe the car down and treat it like their own car. Sometimes they even give me Free Car Washes at the place next door. The Business Manager/Owner Dave is almost always on site, which is rare and also genuine. Dave will literally do just about anything to make the customers happy, and goes out of his way to make sure when people leave there they feel Satisfied! I Cant say enough about this place, I am just glad that I found it, have been coming here for tint for the last 3 years, and I have Never had a bad experience. I work at an automotive dealership, and have been bringing my customers cars here for a few years now. All the other places I took my cars before that, there was always some sort of issue, and I always left there feeling like I got taken advantage of. I had a great experience here. Dominique "Dom" who manages the place and did the installation of my front two side windows is very easy to work with. Very friendly, professional and accommodating. I hope the owner knows how good he has it. Note: they open at 10am...not at the posted 9AM. Also...I had read so many posts here about how cheap it was. It was $225 for the high end 3M ceramic tinting for two windows on a Range Rover Evoque. I have always paid less for the same product but happy to pay this price here for what service and product I received. read more

I recently got a Mercedes Benz CLS & I was very nervous to leave my car just anywhere for tints. I found this place on Yelp and they had great reviews so I thought I would give them a chance. They were very fast i thought it would take 2 - 3 hours for them to finish my car but it only took them an hour or so. I inspected my whole car when I got back to their shop to pick up my car and the car looked amazing! I was very happy with the results and they use 3M tints which is high quality. I called Rapid Window Tinting for a quote on anti-graffiti tint for a storefront on busy major street. Although it wasn't the lowest price, it was very, very competitive. I decided to choose Rapid because David was always very responsive whenever I called, and the follow-up was excellent. David over at Rapid Windows Tinting got the job done just the way I wanted. I called to make an appointment on Saturday, a typically busy day, and he was able to get me in the same day and finish the job for me just under two hours. He even made sure that it there is anything wrong with the job I.e. Scratches from the fume or air bubbles he would fix it right away free of charge. I discovered Rapid Window Tint about 2 years ago when I accompanied a friend who was getting his BMW tinted. I just cant say enough on how amazing the service David and his team had provided. We made a custom made window privacy film with our logo and wording on. The communication was great, the printing was super fast (they printed it in 2-3 days). The installation was fast and very professional. Very happy with the results. I don't even know where to start . Horrible customer service and horrible work ethic from the employees themselves . I took my car to get wrapped and they honestly did horrible job . There was a huge pieces of hair left behind and I don't even think there installers are even certified to install the film . The corners of the doors were horribly cut you could see all the ugly seams . This place is a no go for me . Don't recommend ! read more

I wish I would have gotten tints long ago as the performance has been stellar and I no longer feel like a baking chicken on my commute home!
