I installed a dashcam for my convertible here. I shopped around different places looking for the best deal and Steven quoted me saying "It will be about $160." However when I got there, he quoted me $240 because he had to install a custom bracket for the rear camera. (The custom bracket was just a piece of plastic taped to the rear headrest.) I did not have much time so I agreed to do it. A couple months later, the dash cam stopped working. When I contacted him regarding the issue, he quoted me $80 for a diagnostics fee. This is my forth tint job total with Six auto Sound. Someone smashed my window so I went with the same Llunar CTX for that window and added a front 'tint' for sun protection and better visibility when I'm driving. I can't speak more highly about this place AND Llumar ctx. My window felt like rubbery glass vs shards, all thanks to the tint. They are kind and decent people and know how to tint a car. AVOID! Tesla Ambient Lighting NIGHTMARE with Steve/6 Autosound! Seriously, everybody, steer clear of Steve and 6 Autosound for your Tesla ambient lighting. This guy clearly talked a big game about knowing Teslas, but it was a total lie. He assured me he knew how to do ambient lighting in a Model S to reel me in but it turns out this was his first time doing it The install was a DISASTER. He kept my car for TWO NIGHTS and I was ubering all over the place, wasting my money because he couldn't figure it out. He even mumbled over the phone about how much he regretted taking the job and wouldn't do it again (like it was my fault lol). The final result? The rear door lights were hooked up to the wrong power source. He connected it to the Tesla screen power source, so when the screen dimmed at night, the ambient lights received less voltage and failed to function properly. And the dashboard? Forget about it. The LED strips were sticking out all over the place, or completely hidden in other spots. It looked like a complete amateur hack job. To fix his mess, I had to pay a real pro $1400 to rip everything out and do it right. And get this - Steve actually wanted to CHARGE ME MORE to fix HIS mistakes. Unbelievable. As you can see in my attached photos, I even tried to settle to split the difference and he was too money hungry to compromise. After I sent a demand letter to his email, he then asked to split the difference but sorry Steve, that was too little too late. Save yourself the time, the money, and the massive headache. DO NOT GO TO STEVE/6 AUTOSOUND for Tesla lighting. You will regret it. I'm taking this to court to get my money back. You've been warned! read more

I've had three car windows tinted here and I'm very happy with the overall cost, service and quality. It was pretty easy to coordinate and schedule. I messaged through Yelp and made an appointment. I dropped my car off and walked over to the Galleria market and hung out there. Even though the process may take an hour, if they are backed up you can be waiting 2 hours or so. Luckily there's plenty of places to go or things to do in the area. After picking up, I like that they always put a reminder sticker on the window control buttons. I never notice bubbles or any imperfections, and I'm very picky. After a few days, it was all good to go. I highly recommend this spot for this service! read more

I ordered a forward facing camera for my 2020 Toyota 4-Runner and it arrived on a Saturday morning, so I called Steven thinking I would have to make an appointment to get it installed later in the week. Instead, Steven provided a fair quote to have it installed the same day! The technician, I believe his name is Jorge who performed most of the install went the extra mile by making sure wiring to the switch was done correctly and tucking in all the loose wires to make it look OEM. As with most installs it ended up taking longer than expected but both Steven and Jorge stayed over-time to make sure the job was completed as promised. This is my 3rd time coming here for tint work. A week after purchasing my car from the dealership, i took it here to get all the windows tinted. My interactions were mainly with Steven via Yelp. I appreciate how easy it was to communicate with him through the app. He always responded to my questions in a timely manner. Incredibly helpful and responsive and helped me choose the right tint for my needs. I needed a car tint that was dark enough to keep my car cool and block out the sun, but not so dark that I'd need night vision goggles to see at night. I got the ceramic tint on the sides and the clear ceramic on the front windshield. They're pretty quick as well, usually done within 1-1.5 hrs from the time of car drop-off. I usually walk across the street and order something yummy at the Korean food court in the Galleria Market while I wait. Tint job was done perfectly. Super happy with how everything came out. I'm also happy to know that i'm protected from the sun's harmful UV rays while I drive. Overall, great experience! This review is a little overdue. Last month, I had my 2012 Prius radio/screen replaced by Steve & his crew with a Kenwood model that featured Carplay and a back up camera. Steve took so much time to answer my questions ahead of time, and even when I showed up on the day of and I had accidentally given him the wrong model information, he had a kit on hand and was able to make it work. I felt so bad I made a mistake, but he was cool about it and got it done. It only took a few hours and the timing worked out perfectly for when they finished as I was grabbing KBBQ nearby. I was a little worried when I first got in the car because the dashboard was saying there was an error with the hybrid system after install, but Steve and his guy took the time to reset the car and the message disappeared! I would like to give 0 stars if it's possible.. When the job was done I found there is a scratch on my driver's side door window. DEFINITELY it wasn't there before he took my car into his garage. The scratches are quite deep and can easily be felt with a fingernail. The scratch is very noticeable and it was clearly on the outside of the window. I went back to this place and tried to solve this issue with the owner Steven. But he started to give me a hard time and started to lie to me that he mentioned there is a deep scratch on the driver's side window when I first came. I felt like a fool at the moment. Another guy who took my car into their garage came and lied to me that he said about the scratch to Steven (the owner) and we all checked it together. It seemed like they have this protocol to lie to customers and seem liked they've done it multiple times. This business is SCAM and they are PROFESSIONAL LIARS. The guy said they have their security cameras installed on their working space because these arguments happen. Ok, leaving all the victimized feeling behind, I asked them to show me their security camera. At first, he seemed to show, but later, he changed his words and said that he could not access it because he forgot his password. I politely asked him when he will find the password and he said he does not have any time for that. All I wanted is to support a small business and get my car tint done but it ended up ruining my day and my brand new car. By the way, that shop is only 3 minutes away from my home and I am going to be there every day after work until he happens to REMEMBER his password to access the security cameras. I will update here every week. Do not let those liars make scratches on your car and please go somewhere else. There are better places out there in town who actually does their job. read more

Quick and easy. I asked for a quote and Steven came quick with the response. We discussed different options from the llumar ctx ceramic to the atc basic option. In the end, I went with the mix of ceramic for front and atc rear windows. Steven gave me an option for the windshield to be tinted with the llumar air 80. Total was $350. I dropped my Mazda GT off at 4 and Steven called me back in 1.5hrs to let me know it was completed. Was instructed not to roll down the side windows for 3 days and not to apply any sort of phone or dash cam mount on the windshield for a full week. Really loving the look of my vehicle with the tint and I could really tell the difference in temperature when getting inside the cabin during these 90+ SoCal temperatures. read more
