He was a very knowledgable guy but what I liked best was that he was easy to talk to and very friendly. We had lots of laughs in class so I decided to try out his recording studio. I was very glad that I did. I first recorded a song called Lion In Winter many moons ago and I loved the experience. Both Jeff and David are wonderful guys that help you every step along the way. The place is a bit small but there's enough room there to do just about anything you need to do. They have a great selection or recording options and now run software based recording programs like Logic & Pro Tools. This can be a one stop shop. Recording all the way to mastering. I think that is very important. Later on I had another album project where I was recording an 8 piece band at another studio and then came back to Moonlight Studios to do my vocals and some other overdubs. We worked back and forth like this for about a year until the project was done. There were never any issues. It was very smooth. Also, Jeff & David are both amazing, amazing musicians. Jeff is great on trumpet and other horns and has played with Michael Jackson and with the awesome band Tierra. David is a wonderful piano and keyboard player with an impecable ear and plays around town all the time. Both of them have played on almost all of my songs. I'm always grateful that they would lend me their fantastic talents for my tunes. If you are looking for a great studio in town I highly suggest checking them out. Coming here I was like it's another lockout but this one has always been a fun one as it's full of rooms so a few different bands can do their thing at a time. Super awesome establishment here always a good time jamming out and doing what is good hopefully again sometime soon :) They also have a parking lot in the back so don't forget to take advantage of that as it's better than the street parking. Overall chill studio good rates and it's downtown you really can't go wrong with that said I'm sure I'll be back here again at some point!

The studio owner and recording engineer is highly knowledgable and friendly. The studio staff are all very helpful and organized. Everybody really cares about their craft. The space itself is beautifully built and invites creativity. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. There are several rooms for recording. As a drummer, most of my time is spent in the main room. The Hear No Evil team sets up sessions quickly while maintaining a positive atmosphere. My recording process has always gone smoothly. There are a wide range of instruments, microphones, and amps to choose from and the staff will help recommend what to use for the best result. If it's a longer session, there is a microwave and fridge to heat/store some food. Parking is on-site, free, and abundant. I give Hear No Evil my highest recommendation!

After leaving, I was repeatedly asked to rebook, instead of being asked how the session went. Bad vibes kill creativity. I would never go back. UPDATED Feb 1-11:24pm After leaving this review, the owner Elliot messaged me AGAIN on Instagram. Took zero accountability and only cares about his image. NOT the client. To address your comment, I asked for a discount, cuz your interns run the session. As Indie artists we have to fight to protect a space we paid for. Often times we don't have other options in the area so we suck it up, but no more! This is not a good studio. I would not go back. Look at how he responds to feedback...
