I know that pointing out issues is kind of like upselling, but it actually didn't come across as upselling because there wasn't any pressure to do the work. And that information you get is pretty helpful. The only downside to working with them is the price. They are by far the most expensive plumber I've worked with in the area. I kid you not, one time I got an estimate from them and as I reviewed their email in the middle of a Zoom call, I literally said out loud "holy fucking shit bro" not realizing my mic was on, which was a bit embarrassing. That said, I later agreed to the proposal because nobody else was available as fast. So yeah their availability and their quick response time is definitely important to me. We are disappointed that a unit requiring a different electrical specification was installed without informing us that our existing circuit was incompatible or that additional electrical work would be required. At no point during the installation process that we would need to hire an electrician at an additional cost. When we contacted the company for clarification, the interaction with owner Abe was disappointing, as we found his communication to be dismissive and unprofessional. We were told that this issue was not their responsibility. We believe this should have been communicated prior to installation so we could make an informed decision and avoid unexpected expenses.

At the last moment before the plumbers arrival, I had to rush out and pick up one of my kids because my wife was running late. Despite the change of plans, he persevered, kept in touch, assessed the situation and gave me a price without any hassle or drama, which I appreciated. Some companies are not able to give estimates without both homeowners there walking thru everything which is ridiculous. Anyway, he came back a few days later, showed up right on time for the job and got to work right away. There was minimal disruption and the guy worked very well independently.
