Had a gas leak on a single 2' section of pipe with a cap that needed to be replaced. Joe responded quickly and came out same day, awesome. He seemed like a great guy and didn't have all the parts he needed in the van so offered to come back the next day - no problem. He came back, completed the "repair" and was paid $350. When I contacted the gas company to have the gas turned back on they came out inspected the work that was done by Joe and alerted me to the fact that the repair wasn't done to code and was a safety hazard. As a result, they could not turn the gas back on. I called Joe and he said he would be back the next day to fix it correctly...and the next day came and went...unfortunately didn't hear back from him. Joseph, and his assistant Juan, are fantastic! We originally hired Perfect Plumbing to install our new dishwasher. When Joseph summarized the installation he did, he told us he installed the dishwasher correctly and it's level, but the dishwasher door doesn't open/close the way it should because the surrounding cabinets are warped due to water damage. He told us the garbage disposal is leaking, and he also told us how to dry everything out. My husband replaced the garbage disposal, but when we did a load of laundry (in the adjacent area) the kitchen floor became flooded. So, we called Perfect Plumbing again. Joseph researched the situation and told us that he needs to replace the old piping (~64 years old). That means he has to cut out the wall in a few places to get to the pipes--behind the fridge is a hole about 5.5'x2', by the washing machine is a hole about 5"x5", and under the sink is a hole about 4'x2'. He also created a new cleanout because the original cleanout is not very good. Joseph also installed a new waterline to go to our refrigerator. Before they left, Juan cleaned up everything very well. Joseph even removed the annoying remainder of the protective film that was stuck on the front of our new dishwasher door! Joseph is a very accomplished plumber and we would hire him again. read more

It's 9:30 last night and my wife tells me the water in the toilet is gurgling and bubbling. I go take a look and there's 2 inches of contaminated toilet water in my shower. I immediately go on Yelp and look for the closest guy with the best rating. I call the company and this guy answers and said he can come out and do an emergency call but there is a $150 after hours charge which seemed reasonable to me. He was there within the hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a clog in my main line. He opened the clean-out on the side of my house and snaked the drain clean. He charged me an additional $350, which again seemed reasonable. He cleaned up and was gone by 11:00 PM. I can't tell you how impressed I was with Joe from Perfect Plumbing! I called them a few months ago to install a kitchen faucet. They came out promptly when called. He even knew about my tankless hot water heater which you don't always find. Joe arrived on time. He asked questions to better understand my issues. He tested ALL drains, opened "clean out value" and surveyed mine and neighbors' outside areas for any obvious sewer line problems. Inside, he tested ALL faucets and drain flows even if I didn't state any problems w/ some. He found 1 fairly blocked drain I didn't even know about. He treated and snaked it quickly and treated my other known problem areas w/ commercial cleaner. Though he allowed me to follow him around to observe and learn, he clearly kept me at a safe distance so I wouldn't get harmed, he allowed me to ask questions and taught me how to maintain my pipes...TY. He was VERY thorough and efficient, conscious not to soil my home, tidy and neat. One odd thing he taught me was to observe and note what any house odds smell like for that would tell him something.
