Easy to schedule. Arrived on time. Problems... broken toilet valve in wall that kept water running and could not be turned off, leaking master sink, replaced kitchen faucet and soap dispenser. Cost... While they did not provide a quote prior to the trip, the onsite guy wrote one up really quick. They charge a flat hourly rate and he estimated 3 hours. He did it all in less than two and bill was significantly lower than estimate. Would definitely call them again. read more

Am more than quite disappointed with the rude, unprofessional, hostile, non-responsive, lack of oversite and supervision - not to say the 8 call after, lack of callback wasn't quite disappointing either. Had them here 2 times in the past, and was impressed with their plumbers professional and work. On the 2nd visit, a gentleman fixed 2 items in the shower, and it seemed fine. The next day when i turned the shower on, i got hit in the head with the item installed, when i turned the water on; and the hose with water didn't have water coming out. Didn't get an answer from them when i called twice . Over time, i called 8 more times. Gary who appears to be the owner, said he called back and "every time, my voicemail was full, while there was a time last week it was full, that was the only time I had a "missed call." Once! Even if your voicemail is full, everyone knows the call still shows up as a missed call. The "alleged" plumber who came yesterday, came in the house (with a trainee): Never Introduced himself Still don't know his name Grumped and barked the entire time.---HOSTILE! Never listened to what I said was wrong with the shower unit. Resented I was watching what he was doing, and told me to "get out of" my own bathroom. Decided on his own what the solution would be, and resented my saying something that was unacceptable. I had a relative who was visiting at the time. I asked "is it me?" I was told, after a brief cause, that I wasn't, and that the "guy seemed quite hostile." When i went back to restate what was wring, and got barked at again, i said "listen, i'm quite sure its not me, why are you being so nasty? I was told, " listen I have a rough day. My father was put in the hospital two hours ago, you're lucky I'm here, I'm stressed out now." I said, "well I just checked to make sure it isn't me; if you can't be respectful and at least listen to what I am trying to tell you, then you need to go, there is no need for any customer to be treated this way, and this is unacceptable to me." He turned to his assistant (who he talked rudely to, as well) and they left. 9 calls to Gary, the owner. Not even the courtesy to call back. Be sure, i am going to make sure this review is posted everywhere reviews are possible, and am contemplating placing it in our Community Newsletter, and more. Once again, be sure, further action is pending!---This does NOT include the-347,800 people on Social Media, that I, and my friends have the ability to reach. Toilet was leaking, and after determining that it would have to be taken apart I set about finding a plumber. Last one charged $300 "emergency fee" to clear a blocked toilet because the fine print said if they were here within 3 hours it counted as emergency. Went through a few who said they were fully booked until I called Petrillo's at around 8:30-845am. They said it would either be right before or after lunch. About 10-15 minutes later I get a call from the technician asking if I'd be home in 15' because he could make it. We went over what needed to be done, and he went to work saying it wouldn't take long.He was easygoing and knowledgeable. After he replaced the bolts and gasket he came out and said that the fill valve had made a suspicious noise when tightening, and that it could be nothing but it could also mean cracking and potentially another leak. I appreciated that he did this BEFORE replacing it since we had not discussed it. He said that the fill valve assembly was the only part that had not been recently replaced currently, and that it usually sucks for the customer to have to pay for another visit. This was not pushy or upselly at all. I knew that what he replaced and the fill valve were the only parts that had not been replaced since we moved in and I did not want to be dealing with any more leaks in the near future so I gave him the green light. There was no surprise emergency fee even though he was here roughly 30mins after I called. Full marks all around, happy to have found my new local plumber! read more

Needed a water heater replaced. Found them on Yelp! and they were open at 8am; had my issue resolved in under 12 hours. Very friendly technicians who did it right in about an hour. They even fixed a shower issue I've been having! Fair prices. Could not recommend more! read more

Petrillo Plumbing Services (or, more accurately, Non-Services) should be avoided like the plague. Saturday morning I had a flood in my kitchen and called Petrillo for emergency service. Their representative told me there would be an additional weekend charge of $189. I said, "Fine." The rep stated one of their plumbers will call soon with an ETA. I waited three hours and called them again. No answer. I left a message. Three hours after that, I called again. The same person answered and promised he would have an ETA shortly. It is now Monday afternoon, two days later, and Petrillo still hasn't called. They caused me a lot of damage and trouble. Petrillo is about as useful as window wipers on a donkey's rear end! read more

I have a 25-year-old sink that needed a new faucet, plus new lines and fittings. I bought a new faucet, but I couldn't remove the old parts. I called Petrillo and they sent an excellent serviceman named Paul. He looked at the sink and realized the old faucet and lines were beyond hope. We both agreed that it needed to be removed with a hacksaw. He did such a careful and professional job that in less than an hour I had a brand sink (faucet & lines). He saved me hours of back-breaking work. He was courteous, professional and neat, and I was extremely happy with the results. I will be sure to call Petrillo the next time I need a plumber. read more

WAY BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS I found Petrillo's on YELP (love YELP because they never remove customer posts like the Better Business Bureau). As hard as it is these day s to find a "good" service provider for anything, I found a needle in a haystack with Petrillo's Plumbing. These guys are EXTRAORDINARY. I called at 8:30 am, and they were at my house by 10 am. The person who answered the phone, Richard, is the supervisor and seemed to be a plumber, as he was inquisitive and caring about my repair. Even better, the person who showed up at my door, Adel, spent a lot of time investigating my problems and providing me options to consider - from a cost, quality and aesthetic standpoint. Then, after we agreed on a plan, he went out to the plumbing supply store. He called me from the store and asked me even more questions about what I might want to consider - AMAZING. This experience was so great, I am going to exclusively Petrillo's for plumbing needs on my investment properties. read more

2 for 2. Petrillo's installed a new water heater at my condo not long ago and recently fit me in for a last-minute service call. I called them on Sunday to request an appointment for Monday and got a text on Sunday saying they would call me Monday to schedule. They called at 7:45 a.m. on Monday to schedule me for that afternoon. For both appointments the plumber called me before arriving and arrived at the early end of the window provided when each appointment was made. Both plumbers were friendly, polite and cleaned up completely when they were done. They even offered to remove their shoes so as not to track dirt on my light-colored carpet. Communication is key! And, it was lacking. Couldn't get to me on the first day.. OK. Not a true emergency. So I rescheduled for the next available day. They got into a "complicated issue" they had to complete. No problem, BUT, they did not call me back within a reasonable time. I called and left a message... no return call after an hour. Saturday morning (6:30) Apr 2, 2016, my shower wont turn off !! I shut off the main and found Petrillo Plumbing on Yelp. They opened at 8am on Saturday, I called at 7:40 figuring on leaving a message. A nice young lady answered, and I told her my problem, she said the crews would be in in a half hour and they would get out to me soon. About 8:15 am, Wenzel called me and told me he would be to my condo very soon. He arrived at 8:45, quickly diagnosed my faulty cartridge and replaced it, AND fixed a toilet flush handle and flapper that were not working properly. Wenzel was the most professional, knowledgeable, friendly guy ever.! I am SO pleased with Petrillo plumbing, and Wenzel, who represented himself and Petrillo in just an amazing way. I don't want any more plumbing problems, but if I have one, I would not hesitate to call Petrillo and hope it is Wenzel that comes out. Well done!! The owner, Joe Petrillo, and his associate, Richard, were out today to repair a leaking Jacuzzi jet. The previous company that came out had told me there was no way to access the broken jet other than to pull out the whole tub. This in turn would have ruined the new tile surround that I had only recently had installed. Thanks to Joe's out of the box thinking, he was able to cut an access panel underneath my bathroom sink vanity. He was able to replace the broken jet, repipe and solve my problem, in two hours no less. He was very accommodating regarding my availability and scheduled for a day when I was able to be home. I highly recommend Petrillo's and would not hesitate to use them again. I only wish they were closer to West Palm Beach .... Thank you Joe and Richard! read more

Love Petrillo's! Show up quickly. Super nice. Honest & hardworking. I had an experience similar to another reviewer. I had a very badly blocked toilet, which had overflowed onto the floor. Worst part was that a realtor and their client were coming to look at the house in 35 minutes. Petrillo's were at my house 20 minutes later, fixed the toilet, and CLEANED THE BOWL because they knew the house was about to be shown! They then hauled out of there quickly, so that when the people came they wouldn't see a plumber's van in front of the house. I have nothing but love for these guys and have referred them to a number of my friends. When I told the realtor afterward what had happened, she was stunned and asked me for their contact info because she was so impressed. read more
