Shopping in Las Vegas, Nevada... My sister, niece, and I found yet another TJ Maxx during the 3-day Member Mornings while on vacation! This time, my sister and I BOTH won gift cards to the store! We were super happy! She won first and I suggested that we go to the next store in the Shopping Center. She wanted to look around a bit more - and luckily we were there to hear my name being called out over the PA system! Thank you! After browsing through the Easter merchandise, Korean skincare products, and jewelry, I visited the shoes and clothing departments. I found a top for our baby sister... if she doesn't like it, I'll keep it! I also found a dress and a pair of black flats - both were Clearance items! We purchased some nice outfits for hubby for our 3 days trip and of course while he tried on his clothes. I took any opportunity to find something for me too lol !!! Last one on the rack !! Cleanest Tj Maxx we've walked into. Only service we experienced was checking out. We found some cute home decorations for Halloween and some candy. We love hunting for stuff and sometimes we strike out. I was surprised how clean and organized it was inside. They had some nice ottomans for the foot of the bed. We are still hunting for a longer one. Good prices no complaints there. read more

CASHIERS SHOULD NOT INVOLVE OR DETERMINE THE WAY A TRANSACTION IS BEING DONE ! homegirl behind the register reached over to the card reader and started to press buttons for me? She canceled my phone number & everything? I think that it's RUDE of her to even do that ? I like to receive my receipts through email & receive a printed version . I was going in for a refund , so she decided to cancel my number cause she said that the phone number was only for rewards ? but I still think it's rude of her to just take over like that ? . I think as she was going back on the card reader she clicked on print only for the receipt of the refund transaction? the fact that she canceled my preferred method , I never got an email receipt . it's not a HUGE deal , but It is a big deal when other people decide for me how a transaction gets processed ? i just thought the over all interaction was rude . I don't like it at all ! CASHIERS SHOULD NOT INTERVENE WITH A CUSTOMERS TRANSACTION !!! she could've told me , "it's not necessary to put in your phone number." Plus size section was pitifully small. I found a few cute things but when I checked out the millennial checker made mean comments about me not being "from here." Seriously how many people come through Vegas in a month and would this store survive without them? Probably not. Not good customer service. Bad plus size selection. read more

Today was my 2nd visit in years and it's still a mess rude employees dirty bathrooms nothing organized nor women asile nor men's couldn't find my size due to it being all over the racks couldn't find shorts either where shorts are supposed to be because there always a mini sign that separates the sizes and what type of clothing, it is also a mess in the men's asile wanted to get my husband shirts and his size was all over the racks mixed with jackets, casual shirts and normal shirts and girls asile is all mixed as well meaning this store is not organized at all the toy section is a complete mess as well so many toys without a price grabbed one that didn't have a price and couldn't give me a price just said they couldn't sell it like ? Not to mention they don't have working air conditioning !! I love this store. It is definitely a curse walking in, you know you're going to walk out with way more than you intended on walking out with. That being said, when I came here to get 1 THING! I just needed to get a new screen protector for my phone, yes I know I'm cheap (the screen protector was $7.99) but it does the job. I ended up leaving with about $50 in random house goods, clothes & workout items. I'm very glad with the amount of savings on practically everything in the store, but man the name brands and the savings along with it are just all too tempting. read more

I also go to this location for bargains on designer labels, though the selection is smaller and the handbag clearance section is a tad bit unorganized. (I do agree with one reviewer that the one on Maryland Parkway has better selection.) This is worth checking out when you are in the area. This one seems to have less customers, but I hope that this one doesn't close, like all the other nearby businesses in the same strip mall shopping center. The handbag section is located right when you walk through the doors. I've spotted Dooney & Bourke, Coach, & Juicy Couture. The markdowns on the bags are a little much to sort through- just kinda dumped in one section (hanging- kinda more for tall people to easily grab) but there are way too many to go through- sometimes I just don't want to dig. It's almost the catch-all for all the marked down purses and not much effort was really put into it- like they ran out of space, and hoped it would work (but it doesn't). The children's clothing seems to be much better here compared to the Maryland location. Lots of children in my family to shop for- huge family. The salespeople on the floor seem to be harried and overwhelmed, unless you're at the checkout. read more

I came here looking if they had any high end makeup. I ended up finding a Kat Von D lipstick for $6.99. It was the only one left. As for my daughter, she found a cute pair of slippers for $7.99. I didn't see too much clothing I liked. Everything was organized. I liked this store. It hardly had anyone inside. Lots to choose from. I wish they had more high end makeup. Lovvve this store. This location is much better than the one in Henderson. I mainly only come here for the beauty and skincare. The deals are too hard to pass up. The clothes here are too expensive and outdated in my opinion. I get so many name brand products for less than half the price. The makeup section is the bomb!!! I come here just for that. read more

From 6/23/15 This store is located in the Sahara Pavilion and has the typical TJ Maxx set up. They also have a decent section for fitness clothes, good prices, and when I need to pick up a quick outfit. It's a super convenient store when you need to grab something in the spur of he moment as well. read more

Carla Rossi... an uptight B. She's probably proud of it. A round of applause for her. Extremely rude for no reason. I went in to return an item. Browsed a bit, didn't find anything really. Went up to the register let her know I didn't have the receipt but that I made the purchase with the TjMaxx card. Pretty straightforward right?. Well apparently they don't have the technology for that. That's was her only answer. We don't have the technology for that...... Caught me off guard with her tone. I walk out, I call another store, and they say well we give store credit in those situations.. are u fricken kidding me?. She couldn't just say that?. I don't get it... I understand retail is stressful, customers can be rude and draining. I'm in healthcare, I get it!. Short on employees long hours. But don't be so F rude to someone who just got off a 12 hr shift and is just trying to do some shopping. Probably my least favorite out of all the home decor selection due to the limited variety and the more pricey price tags. It was a disappointment beyond the few shower curtains that I was able to purchase. A few minutes in the store and I was ready to leave. It lacks in area rugs and other decorative pieces. Came in here last minute to buy a swimsuit. The selection was small since we're towards the end of the season, but I found a cute one. This is a very typical TJ Maxx. The inventory is pretty well-maintained, although I wish the store was a little larger. It's definitely on the small side. Shoes and purses are my products of choice at this particular store. Pretty good in both of those areas. read more

I came to this particular TJ Maxx store today to browse... Ok I went to go look for a new handbag for myself for my birthday. I finally found what I was looking for! A white Michael Kors handbag with tan leather staps! I stood in line at the front to put the bag on hold since my fiancé was going to be purchasing the handbag for my birthday in two weeks. I put the bag on hold around 2:00pm. I asked the woman at the counter ( middle aged woman with short hair) how long the bag could be put on hold for, and she said until the next day before close, so about 9:00pm. Perfect, I thought since we would be back that night. My fiancé and I came back to the store at 8:00 pm that night to pick up the handbag. I had put it under his name, and walked up to the front to get it. The young kid went to look for it and couldn't find it. He said that it wasn't at the front, so it must have been put back on the floor. I went back to the handbag section. No bag. I went and asked him to check again. No handbag. I don't see the point in putting things on hold, if the careless staff is just going to put it back out on the floor? And forget about asking for a manager! The staff must have paged the manager "Kiesha" three times, and she never came up to the front. While my fiancé and I were waiting up front for a manager, I heard another staff member ask the one young man that was helping me, if her handbag she put on hold was still there. He said yes. It's nice to know that the staff at this TJ Maxx are more concerned and keep track of their purchases, but not their customers. Needless to say, I will not return to this particular store (it's a shame, I shop here a lot! Or did rather) the staff is in organized, and clearly management is ass backwards. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the staff purchased my bag that was on hold. Completely horrible. Do not shop here!!!!! Update as of 4/10/14!!! Sandy, the manager was a huge help! Located in the Von's shopping Center(Sahara Pavilion) its pretty much the department store mecca of the neighborhood. Brand Names clothes at discount prices just like the advertise plus lots of odd stuff like sporting goods and toys and what not outrageously low priced. I pop in every few weeks just to see what new stuff they have. read more

My wife and I do a lot of shopping whenever we have weekends off together. We always start at the discount places and work our way up the chain. Marshall's, Ross and TJ Maxx are always high on our list of must-stop stores and TJ Maxx is at the top of the list. All of the previously mentioned stores have good deals on a variety of items, but TJ's always seems to have the higher quality stuff. My wife is usually looking for cosmetics, perfumes and shoes while I tend to hit the home decor and kitchen stuff and we always find a bounty in all of these categories. This particular TJ Maxx is kinf of a hidden gem. Because it's tucked away in a corner of a center that doesn't get much play their inventory is generally pretty strong and not very picked over. The location itself is far cleaner and better kept than other discount stores and there are always plenty of checkstands open so you can get in and out quickly. If you're out on one of those Saturday afternoon shopping extravganzas TJ Maxx on Sahara and Decatur is a great place to stop. read more
