I had Dual Tech Solutions come out to give me a quote and I wanted to leave a review because I really appreciated the time and effort they put in, even though I ultimately went with a different company. From the beginning their communication stood out. They were responsive, patient with my questions, and clearly very knowledgeable about what was going on with the project. You can tell they genuinely wanted to earn the job and took the time to explain things in a way that made sense without making anything feel rushed or pressured. In the end I ended up choosing a lower quote around $3,000 from another company, and now that the work is completed I wanted to come back and write this review simply to acknowledge the professionalism I experienced here. If I hadn't already gone with someone else, Dual Tech Solutions would absolutely have been in line for the job. Their calm, collected approach and willingness to help really goes a long way, and that kind of professionalism deserves recognition. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them again for future projects. Five stars for their time, effort, and excellent communication.

    100w Sub panel

I was looking for an electrician to install an EV charger to our home. Steven was very helpful throughout the whole process. He was able to stop by and take a look at the main sub panel and found that it was full. He suggested some options of adding an additional sub panel and install the charger. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a great deal. He took only a few hours to put everything toegther and did a great job. We will definitely consider him for future electrical work.

While it sounds simple, it was a hard task to find the transformer since it's not ever located in a standard place. We ended up not finding it to no fault of his. Throughout the process he talked through his thoughts and really demonstrated his master electrician knowledge and problem solving capabilities. We settled on installing a new transformer in our garage that would be easy to get to and be the least amount of damage to run the wires. Chris was a pleasure to work with. Pricing was fair. He is honest, reliable, great communicator, and very respectful of your home. Being Asian, no shoes in the house is important to me and he was so kind to take his shoe booties on and off depending on where he was working. That is hard to come by with many contractors and I very much appreciated it. I'd absolutely call him for any future jobs!

Chris was incredibly responsive from the start, answered all my questions quickly, and provided the best rates by far after I contacted at least five other electricians in my area. He and his apprentice were able to run a dedicated line from our subpanel in the garage right outside to the sauna. They also installed the heater and temperature sensor (this is highly recommended by the heater companies! Don't install these without professional help!) The work was completed professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. It took them a few hours but they finished it the same day. It's hard to find contractors who are both reliable and fairly priced, but Caldera Power Services delivered on both. I highly recommend Chris and his team to anyone looking for quality electrical work. Definitely will be hiring him again for all my electrical needs!

I really appreciated that he gave me several options to consider instead of pressuring me into one solution. What impressed me most was how clearly he explained everything. We hired this company to repair a water leak and replace our water heater. While the leak itself…read morewas eventually fixed and the job did ultimately pass every city inspection, the process took about a month longer than it should have and cost us real time, stress, and lost work -- issues we feel other homeowners should know about before hiring. Work began July 5th with tank removal and drywall demo by Collen S. and his partner. The next day, they repaired the leak by replacing about 6 feet of PEX line, and a subcontractor patched the drywall. About 20 minutes after the patch was done, Collen S. told us the new water heater install was good to go. We specifically asked whether a permit was needed -- for both the leak repair and the water heater install -- and Collen S. and his partner told us twice that day that it wasn't. We requested one anyway. That turned out to matter a great deal. On July 14th, Collen S. gave us only about 30 minutes' notice before the inspector arrived, even though we had asked him to give us a day in advance so we could request time off work to be present. The inspector arrived anyway, and when we asked directly, he confirmed that both the water heater installation and the PEX line replacement had been done without the required permits -- meaning both jobs were effectively illegal until they could be properly permitted and inspected. This flatly contradicted what Collen S. and his partner had told us twice on-site. The next day, we called the company's manager, Steve, and raised three concerns: the contradictory permit information, the last-minute inspection notice, and our request for a different crew going forward. On July 21st, a new tech, Michael, introduced himself, and the City of Eastvale inspected the drywall repair. The city did not approve it and required the wall reopened for a mold check. Michael returned that same day to reopen it. On July 27th, the city inspected inside the wall, confirmed no mold, and approved the space to be patched and the water heater reinstalled. Drywall repatching happened August 3rd, and the final inspection closed everything out August 6th -- roughly a month after the leak repair began. On top of the permit issues, we were also pressured more than once to buy add-on services unrelated to our leak. Collen S. showed us "dirty" pipes at least twice in what felt less like genuine advice and more like an attempt to play on our emotions to drive a commission-based sale of a whole-house filtration system. He also pushed a full home re-pipe on separate occasions -- again, unrelated to what we'd actually called about. To be fair, the leak repair itself was solid, the city inspectors were thorough, and the job ultimately passed every inspection with no mold found. But getting there cost us two additional days off work -- one for the re-inspection that was only necessary because permits weren't pulled correctly from the start, and one for the wall re-closing after the unapproved drywall job had to be reopened -- plus significant back-and-forth to sort out miscommunication that should never have happened. We're hopeful the company will work with us to make this right, since the repairs themselves held up -- it was everything around them that fell short. A crew not knowing (or misrepresenting) basic permit requirements, and using emotional pressure tactics to upsell unrelated services, are things we don't think any customer should have to tolerate -- and we'd encourage this company to address both with its technicians directly. Because of the permit miscommunication that left our repairs technically illegal for over a week, the last-minute inspection scheduling, the repeated upselling pressure, and the extra days off work it all cost us, we cannot recommend this company.

Vartan gave us several options and costing to resolve. He didn't try and push any one option but did a great job of explaining the pros and cons of each. We went with a panel upgrade and a total house rewire. Vartan was on top of the project from day one. Permitting could have been a lengthy delay but we got it in a day, in large part because Vartan worked with the inspector directly and took the initiative to ensure both his and my responsibilities were carried out in a timely fashion. He and his crew were punctual, polite and made every effort to minimize the impact they were making on the house as they ran the new wires. Cuts in the drywall were clean circles and they even saved the inserts to facilitate patching once they were done. Communication with Vartan throughout the project was very straight forward. He was very flexible about our specific needs for the house and replaced bedroom lights with ceiling fans and added a living room light at no extra cost for the labor. He made sure he understood what we wanted for our new home and went out of his way to make sure the wiring and hardware were a good fit. His total cost was very reasonable and the lower of the two bids we received for the job. I will be using Vartan and his crew for any future electrical needs and giving his details to any friends asking for an electrician referral. I am confident you too will be very pleased if you employ East West Electric.

Once Nshan and his assistant came down, he took a few minutes to assess the situation and gave me a plan that made a lot of sense. He ran into some minor issues due to some sloppy, lazy work done by a previous "electrician," but he managed to resolve those issues. A couple hours later, he was done. I would definitely recommend them for any of your electrical needs.
