Their care, their warmth--almost to a bubbly nature, and their confident inspiring professionalism has compelled me to write this review when I hadn't plan to. I came to have a screening a very private, unmentionable, part of my body. . . oh might as well admit it--I came for a probe of my anal cavity and the areas beyond. Yes I came for a butt probe. I am 50-now and it is time for me to get bootie probed every five year--especially since colon cancer runs in my family. **public service announcement** Cue the bright colored TV peacock and chimes--dune, dooo, dune-- if your older than 45 please get your butt probe every five years; colon cancer is easily treatable if you nail it early. Everyone here from the receptionist, to the pre-op nurses, to the anesthesiologist, to the surgeon, to the post op team, to the people who called to check up on me days later were super friendly, kind, had a professional gravitas that made any anxiety about the procedure evaporate. Before hand they reiterated the purpose of the scan, thoroughly reviewed every the RXs I was on, and described what was about to happened. Afterwards, they contact my driver ( you have to have one) to relay what they found and what action to take and not take. This was a great relief; it was my first colonoscopy so I didn't know what to expect. (Naively, I didn't realize I would be in a surgical grown. Good thing, for I realized to late I was in a Pink Floyd shirt and imaged the surgical team joking "Now we are about to explore the dark side of the moon!") I love this place. Highly recommended. I was told they would call me the day before surgery and tell me when to arrive. The day before surgery I waited until 4:20 pm for a call and it never came. So I called at 4:20pm to ask because their hours said they closed at 4:30pm. They were already closed for the day. So I called my surgeons office to say I wasn't showing up the next day because I had not been given a time. They then told me the surgery had been cancelled and would have to be done at the hospital. It is now 2 days later, my surgery is tomorrow and the hospital wants me to prepay but Dublin Surgical has not refunded what I advance paid them for a service they failed to perform. Would you want surgery at a facility that was this incompetent at simple administration? I wouldn't.

Going in and out of every doctor's office because the buildings looked all the same. I finally realize after entering the Orthopedic One building I'm clearly not in the right building and need to focus on the building number a little harder. I get there after walking around a bit in and out of ever doctors office. I apologize for not finding the building but do get there on time. I have about a 5 minute wait after submitting my paperwork. The nurse checks my vitals and tells me I'm fine. She walks me over to the doctors office. I wait about 5-10 minutes for Carrie Soder. First of all, I would like to say how nice she was upon meeting her for the first time. She really got to know me and my whole family background. I appreciated all the advice she gave me because it was very helpful. Obviously she has a lot of experience as a OBGYN. I would highly recommend her if anyone is looking for one at the moment. I was overall very pleased with my first visit here. I would highly recommend Professionals for Women's Health they are all OhioHealth doctors. Plus they have three locations Dublin, Westerville, and Columbus offices for you to choose from, so it's very convenient.

Now, I will say that I really wanted an unmedicated birth and was more opinionated about my birth experience than many - but that is also why I think it's important to share this experience and why I would NOT recommend them for someone who is looking for an empowered birth experience. They have midwives on staff and some are amazing, but others are not. You see different midwives and doctors for different appointments, which led to inconsistent care in my opinion. There were several times where I received conflicting recommendations based on who I saw. While you can request to see certain midwives for appointments (I found one I loved and requested her each time) you cannot choose who comes to your delivery. The only reason I am giving them two stars is because of the one midwife who genuinely advocated for me (she made it possible for me to have a doula during the pandemic, something that I will always be grateful to her for)- but I still had an (in my opinion, unnecessarily) dramatic delivery experience. I was late and at 41 weeks had an ultrasound with Dr Kevin Hackett. He immediately pushed me towards an induction and was extremely condescending towards any questions I asked about the decision (which was a huge adjustment from my birth preferences). He seemed genuinely offended that I didn't blindly follow all of his recommendations and honestly made me feel like a bad mom. He made several comments against the midwives I had seen previously and it left me feeling conflicted and defeated. At one point he said he couldn't believe I would "back myself in a corner" looking for an unmedicated birth. I was very okay being induced, if medically necessary. My issue was the condescending tone and how it was not a conversation - it was a demand. It is everything that an empowered birth experience is NOT. My hope is that sharing this alone will give one pregnant woman a more empowered experience by steering her from Dr Hackett. After being induced, I had a long labor and unfortunately reached 10 cm at shift change. I'm not totally sure what happened, but what I do know is that I was ready to push and had to wait over an hour for the new midwife to arrive at the hospital. Once we were delivering, the midwife seemed incredibly distracted, chatting with everyone else around her and went so far to mess up my stitches and have to redo them, which I genuinely think was because she was chatting with everyone else around her (about things other than my delivery). Thank goodness I had a doula with me because she gave me 10x more information about postpartum care than any one at professionals did. There is a lot going on behind the scenes, but my experiences led me to think many decisions were made for me based on what is convenient for them.   If you are having a baby and are looking for an empowered and/or unmedicated birth - I would NOT recommend Professionals. There are some great midwives at the practice for sure, and it makes me sad to write this review because I really like and admire them, but because of their setup you have no guarantee of who you will get nor of your experience. My hope is to share my experience to help clarify how they work and help one woman have the experience she is looking for!

My son (is 24 and has insurance…read more- just not a doctor) has gone to them for everything for the last 4 years, he says that they ARE his doctor. He has been diagnosed and treated for everything from sinusitis, flue, sinus infection, Covid, fatty liver disease and a severe meniscus tear (which required surgery). Last week I took my husband there for severe lower abdomen pain and they immediately said he needed to go to a hospital and called an ambulance for him. They were taking him to Riverside, but Riverside had no availability, so he was being transported to Dublin Methodist. The front desk gal was so nice to call me and inform me of the location change. My husband ends up needing Emergency surgery! While he was still in recovery the doctor from Scioto Urgent Care called to see how he was doing and what the diagnosis was! You CAN"T get customer service like that from a large hospital and I highly recommend this location for any ailment you have -- They truly care and are excellent health care professionals who are exceptional in the field!!

They finally looked it up and then realized they were wrong. Imagine that! Told me the 3rd time that they wouldn't give me any more meds even though the condition is life threatening for me and they didn't give me enough to take care of the issue the first two times. Told me just to apply cream even though I said the cream doesn't work for me. They said, "yes it does." The arrogance to ignore your patients when no 2 people are the same. Playing with people's lives. The entire situation could have been avoided if they would have just listened to me the first time and given me a couple more days' worth. That is all it would have taken because the condition was almost gone. Will never go back to this dangerous place

He did a great stitch job. I had this done September 11 2020 and everything has healed up fine. Surgery cost was 400 bucks so total cost was 600.

Always posed with the question "What do you recommend I do?" And their response was always keep calling to check if they got more in. My last straw was midway through a trial of a medication (one of the ones which they didn't have enough samples of- so round two of attempting this medicine now) I call to schedule my follow up and "We're not contracted with your insurance anymore". I say last straw because for the right medical staff I would pay the out of network fees. So if you have medical conditions or insurance that requires hoops to be jumped through, I highly recommend going elsewhere.

The front desk staff is always friendly and quick to return calls. Unfortunately, as with most medical practices - the practice can't be defined just by the doctors. When it comes to obstetrics for prenatal care and delivery, it's a fairly great experience. The gynecological and post delivery experiences are not as smooth. There has been more than one occasion where it comes across when trying to tell them something is wrong, they don't listen unless you push. Personally, my reproductive health is not something I'm willing to take a chance on with staff not listening. Overall though, the majority of the staff is very friendly, it's a clean place, and great for OB care - my drop in rating comes down to lack of the same attention or concern for detail on the gynecology side.

From the outset, any attempt to ask questions or participate in my own care was shut down. When I raised concerns about medications being prescribed and referenced the actual FDA labeling, the response was not clarification or discussion, but outright dismissal. There was no willingness to engage with evidence or explain clinical reasoning. Input from the patient was clearly unwelcome and seemed like she took any input personally. The interaction was tense and adversarial. The tone was defensive and combative, and I felt spoken to in a way that was dismissive and degrading rather than professional. Asking reasonable, informed questions was treated as a problem instead of a normal and appropriate part of medical care. What was most alarming was the complete lack of openness to being questioned or corrected, even when objective information was presented. That alone made me deeply uncomfortable trusting any aspect of the care being provided. To compound the experience, the billing felt excessive and disproportionate to the quality of care and communication I received, leaving me with serious concerns about priorities at this practice. I left feeling stressed, unheard, and shaken by how poorly I was treated for simply advocating for myself. Patients who value evidence-based medicine, respectful communication, and being treated with basic dignity should think very carefully before scheduling here.

In my haste of getting my child to emergency and thinking we would be there a couple of hours and go home I forgot my charger. Guess where the only courtesy charging stations are? Emergency room, guess who is rude a doesn't give a care about human things people go through when they come to the hospital? the emergency department. Why would I not be able to utilize the courtesy chargers. I'm here with my child have been here 3 days and needed my phone. I don't know if it's policy but the policy makes no sense.

This is not my favorite of the OSU hospitals as it's an older one, but the service was great. No complaints on the quality of care, or the staff. I had a scheduled ultrasound. I was very pleased with the time wait Customer Service I would recommend that procedure here. This hospital is a good option and maybe overlooked sometimes. Personally feel it's not as nice as the main hospital, or some of the suburb locations, but convenient location on the near east side. I would recommend and my partner has a hip surgery in April so will be able to see how that goes here as well.
