Ken and Mindy were patient and very knowledgeable. Mindy was able to look at my bracelet and say that it weighed less than hers and even brought out her scale to show us. We had a 6 people buying merch from them, 2 bracelets and 4 rings. It would have been nice if they were able to give everyone a little bit of a discount but they cut the two bracelet buyers some slack. On June 28, 2025, we visited this store to have a broken chain fixed. While we were there, the…read moreowner, Danny offered to clean our rings for free. We appreciated the gesture at the time. However, that evening my sister noticed something unusual with her ring. One of the melee diamonds no longer sparkled and had a visible line across it. She was able to clearly see the damage with the naked eye, and she sent me photos where I could immediately identify the broken stone. When I saw her ring, that broken diamond is very obvious. We took the ring to a reputable jewelry repair shop for a second opinion. He confirmed the damage and provided a written estimate of $80 for the repair. We returned to speak with Danny in hopes of understanding what might have happened during the cleaning process. Unfortunately, he was dismissive and insisted that my sister must have caused the damage herself. This explanation didn't make sense to us--she wears this ring daily, did not take off her finger only when she tried to examine the diamond, and it has never dropped it or exposed it to anything sharp that could cause such damage. The diamonds are high-quality and were in excellent condition prior to the cleaning. We also asked to review security footage from that day, but Danny told us all the cameras in the store were fake, which raised further concern. The ring was out of our sight for approximately 20 minutes during the cleaning, and we believe the damage may have occurred during that time. While accidents can happen, what was most disappointing was the way the situation was handled. We felt dismissed and disrespected when all we wanted was a fair explanation. We're now left with a damaged ring and no accountability from the business. We have reason to believe the damage was not accidental, but the result of improper handling or even worse intentional damaged by Danny. I'm sharing this to caution others who may consider using this store for any jewelry services.

The loan became due recently and I felt compelled to update my experience due to some of the negative reviews. First off, I received emails and text messages reminding me that my due date was coming up. I even received a phone call from Lalo, manager, to let me know. When I informed him that I was trying to get the money to pay off the loan as I didn't want to lose the jewelry I had given as collateral, he told me to just stay in contact and keep him informed. I had to call him three times to keep getting extensions past the final grace period due date. Every single time, Lalo was so gracious and reassured me that my jewelry would not be sold and extended the time I requested. It took me an additional week and a half to pay the loan and pick up my jewelry. I had two items and they were packed individually in bubble wrap and put inside a nice box. The level of care taken to store my jewelry should tell you enough of how great this pawn shop is. All the negative reviews, I suspect, has more to do with the individual than how they were actually treated. I've had occasion to use three different pawn shops in the past and I would recommend this pawn shop over any other.
