Highly recommend going to Clay for all your jewelry needs. We used his services to create my dream custom engagement ring. The entire process was super easy. I gave him a picture and notes of what I wanted and expected. He was able to procure the exact cut of stone I wanted and produce a digital and physical CAD model so I was able to visualize my ring. My boyfriend and I came in to simply look at their selection as we were looking into getting our engagement ring and wedding bands until Clay informed us that they were able to make custom rings! We showed them a few reference photos of the engagement ring/wedding bands I loved, as well as additions or subtractions I would like to make. Clay was very educated on the price of gold and how the weight would affect our end pricing of our rings and gave a very accurate quote for everything we were looking for. He was very informative of the differences of silver vs gold vs rose gold vs platinum, and even went out of his way to find us a few lab made alexandrites for me to choose from since that was the gemstone that I had in mind. His team showed me a few photos of the design they made in a program before creating a 3D printed model of it! With this process I was able to try the engagement AND wedding band pair on to see whether I liked it or if I would want any changes made. After that, they went and made the engagement ring as well as both of our wedding band and it was finished within a couple of weeks! (And this was during the holiday season too!) We had such an amazing experience working with Clay. He provided us timely responses, great customer service. My fiance and I gave Clay our Budget, and my initial drawn out design, and he provided us 3 lab grown diamonds to choose from (I wanted lab grown given our budget). I then chose the material, white gold. We also had a custom pinky ring made with a natural pink sapphire in white gold. The process is so fun! You can choose the diamond/gemstone, then Clay sends it to his CAD Modeler, and they shipped the 3D plastic printed rings for us in San Diego for approval. Then, they do everything else and my fiance picked it up! One thing to note: my pinky ring needed to be resized, and there was a bit of minor scratching when I got it back.
