RIP OFF. $20 in debit card + $10 in cash = $30 for new batteries for an old Casio watch. Stores around town only ask for $6-$10
    Ken K.

Two words: RIP OFF. On Friday I came to this hole in a wall jewelry store to get new battery replacement for my 13 years old Casio Pathfinder digital wrist watch. The store owner (a Vietnamese man in his 60s or 70s) asked for $10 in cash to pay for the battery replacement. Ok, cool. He brough my watch to the back of his store to work on it. He was unable to get the watch to turn back on and get it to work (my watch was on & worked perfectly fine when i first brought it in his store) even with the new batteries . He told me to come back next Monday to get the watch. I came back the following Monday to retrieve my watch. I encountered the same Vietnamese man last Friday. He asked for an additional $20 (on top of the $10 i already paid last Friday) before he handed the watch back to me. His excuses were "i had to reprogram the watch and the batteries are expensive". I ended up paying him $20 with my debit card. I paid a total of $30 ($10 in cash, $20 with card) for batteries for a digital watch worth $80. I went home and called several jewelry/watch stores around town to ask for a quote how much would it cost them to replace battery for a Casio Pathfinder. The most expensive quote was $10. I am out of $30 and had to wait 3 days to get my watch back. Do not come to this store if you don't want to get rip off. 2 tr: b láo. On June 28, 2025, we visited this store to have a broken chain fixed. While we were there, the…read moreowner, Danny offered to clean our rings for free. We appreciated the gesture at the time. However, that evening my sister noticed something unusual with her ring. One of the melee diamonds no longer sparkled and had a visible line across it. She was able to clearly see the damage with the naked eye, and she sent me photos where I could immediately identify the broken stone. When I saw her ring, that broken diamond is very obvious. We took the ring to a reputable jewelry repair shop for a second opinion. He confirmed the damage and provided a written estimate of $80 for the repair. We returned to speak with Danny in hopes of understanding what might have happened during the cleaning process. Unfortunately, he was dismissive and insisted that my sister must have caused the damage herself. This explanation didn't make sense to us--she wears this ring daily, did not take off her finger only when she tried to examine the diamond, and it has never dropped it or exposed it to anything sharp that could cause such damage. The diamonds are high-quality and were in excellent condition prior to the cleaning. We also asked to review security footage from that day, but Danny told us all the cameras in the store were fake, which raised further concern. The ring was out of our sight for approximately 20 minutes during the cleaning, and we believe the damage may have occurred during that time. While accidents can happen, what was most disappointing was the way the situation was handled. We felt dismissed and disrespected when all we wanted was a fair explanation. We're now left with a damaged ring and no accountability from the business. We have reason to believe the damage was not accidental, but the result of improper handling or even worse intentional damaged by Danny. I'm sharing this to caution others who may consider using this store for any jewelry services.

Ended up getting a really nice 18k white gold necklace. The SA (Emily?) was super helpful and gave me a really good price right away. Not one of those places where you have to try and bargain with them like crazy. Also she wasn't pushy at all. I will be back here for my future purchases.

Most of the work they've done for me has been silverwork. They've done some work, but I don't have a picture of that because I've sold most of it over the years. Jennifer always works with me to make whatever stupid idea I have into a reality. I'd say the best work she's done for me in particular is the star of David most people call it I call a star Solomon and I'm not gonna argue about it but that's just my opinion because of something I read about Solomon improving the star of David to include the interlocking weaving things I don't know what you call that look at the picture anyway not the real deal. The point is if you want some silver work done highly recommend this place. Do you wanna look at some random stuff? They have sure you're gonna find some pretty stuff especially jade things and other items you're not gonna find it at typical jewelry store. Plus the mall of self is worth a visit. It's pretty cool
