On June 28, 2025, we visited this store to have a broken chain fixed. While we were there, the owner, Danny offered to clean our rings for free. We appreciated the gesture at the time. However, that evening my sister noticed something unusual with her ring. One of the melee diamonds no longer sparkled and had a visible line across it. She was able to clearly see the damage with the naked eye, and she sent me photos where I could immediately identify the broken stone. When I saw her ring, that broken diamond is very obvious. We took the ring to a reputable jewelry repair shop for a second opinion. He confirmed the damage and provided a written estimate of $80 for the repair. We returned to speak with Danny in hopes of understanding what might have happened during the cleaning process. Unfortunately, he was dismissive and insisted that my sister must have caused the damage herself. This explanation didn't make sense to us--she wears this ring daily, did not take off her finger only when she tried to examine the diamond, and it has never dropped it or exposed it to anything sharp that could cause such damage. The diamonds are high-quality and were in excellent condition prior to the cleaning. We also asked to review security footage from that day, but Danny told us all the cameras in the store were fake, which raised further concern. The ring was out of our sight for approximately 20 minutes during the cleaning, and we believe the damage may have occurred during that time. While accidents can happen, what was most disappointing was the way the situation was handled. We felt dismissed and disrespected when all we wanted was a fair explanation. We're now left with a damaged ring and no accountability from the business. We have reason to believe the damage was not accidental, but the result of improper handling or even worse intentional damaged by Danny. I'm sharing this to caution others who may consider using this store for any jewelry services. read more

i hate giving bad reviews but i feel like i lowkey got scammed at this place for my second lobe piercings. someone recommended uncle denny at the jewelry section for ear piercings so i went through with it. to be fair i shouldve asked for the price beforehand, but i have gotten my first piercings at this mall before and it was like $25 a couple of years ago so i figured it has to be less than $50 nowadays.... but i was so wrong T____T he charged me $90 which blew my mind LOL since the piercing was done with a piercing gun and the stud earring was so small.. uncle denny was really nice and sweet but i felt really swindled since theres no price transparency in the jewelry section.. but again it was probably my fault for not asking :( i just dont think it was priced fairly at all read more

Very disappointing experience. On June 21, I visited Thien Phat Jewelry in Asian Garden Mall to repair two broken chains. The owner, Danny, offered to clean my diamond ring for free, then placed it in a murky container under his workbench. His body blocked the container -- I couldn't see the ring at all. During the process, he left the workspace for about 20 minutes, and I had no idea why. That evening, I noticed one diamond had lost its sparkle and had a visible crack. I returned on June 28, but Danny was dismissive, didn't apologize, and claimed their cameras were "fake" and don't record. This ring was purchased in Japan with E-grade diamonds. Scammed for gold wedding band! He Asked to wash and clean it and then he switched it out for an another band. How did we know? When done "cleaning", the ring magically got tight and didn't fit ring finger. He Did not give it back original ring.. kept denying.. PD couldn't do anything and advised to take to civil court. The bangle turned out to be fake, refused to refund saying "no refunds". Insisted that they are genuine and I said ok if they are proven fake will you refund, he says no - I buy it from a wholesaler and "I don't know". Just lying, thieving people with no morals. He used hand sanitizer to clean the fresh wound after piercing and his gloves are the clear disposable poly plastic that usually used for food or cleaning. Other places are more expensive because they use sterling silver or gold materials that will prevent infection for pierced areas, but he used low quality jewelry which caused me infection, and when I confronted him about it, he had nothing to say or apologize for. Please choose the adequate service when it comes to your piercing since sanitation and professionalism matter. read more

My friend and I wanted our cartilage and tragus pierced within a reasonable budget. Found this spot thru yelp and decided to go for it because of the good reviews. We didn't mind that the shop was located in a ghetto-ish Asian market, and the owner was super friendly and didn't rush during the whole process. Pros: super cheap ($30 a piercing including the jewelry) Cons: probably not the most sanitary conditions... he wiped our jewelry and our ears with a sanitizing gel but wish he wore gloves or something to appease my mind. The piercings looked great after we were done, but after a few days I wish he gave both of us longer studs because they appear to be way too short considering the swelling. I don't know how this place is rated 5 stars when the service and attitude is so horrible!! I came looking for a charm bracelet with a particular chain style to the one I had. After inquiring with the guy behind the counter and showing him an example of what I was looking for, he said he had it. I knew I was looking for something quite specific, therefore, I was very excited to hear this. Indeed, the charm bracelet had everything I was looking for except for one charm that I did not like. He quoted me $900, although there was another jewelry stand that quoted a similar bracelet for much cheaper. I asked if he could change the charm with something else. He said he would not change it. Then, he proceeded to take the bracelet from me and said he would no longer sell it to me. I was soo confused and offended. But, I asked politely, "Well, why would you show the bracelet if you have no intentions of selling it." He said, "I wouldn't sell it to you just because you asked to change the charm." Now as any good business owner would know - always give the customer what she/he wants. As a paying customer, I have the right to ask for a piece of jewelry to be the way I want it to be, especially if I'm paying a lot of money for it. Second, he never even offered me the option of paying extra for the service. His attitude was basically "buy it as is or leave it." Although buying wasn't really an option since he basically dismissed me from his stand. To summarize, the owner is an a$$ and doesn't need your money. Everything went perfectly at the jewelry shop. The person who helped us, Danny, was extremely outgoing and communicated well in English. He pierced my boyfriend's ears for very cheap. I got both of my girls' ears pierced here. The guy was really nice but the place is not very sanitary. He uses a napkin and some disinfecting gel to clean their ears. A sharpie was used to mark the piercing spots. This was weird to me because usually other piercing and tattoo shops uses a skin/piercing marker. Also, I was kind of bothered he didn't wear gloves. It was $120 for both of my girls to get their ears pierced.. $60 each. We tipped $10 so $130 total. Came with basic studs. He used a gun to pierce their ears. My friend and I went to uncle Danny because he had such great reviews and in total my friend and I got three piercings which all got infected and we didn't even know until we went to hoan Anh jewelry. She told us the the earring were too tight and clean our piercings which had a lot of blood and puss. She also gave us replacement earrings that help sooth our ears. Long story short DONT go to uncle Danny he's unlicensed and doesn't even tell you how to take care of your ears after.
