I also asked if I could watch the repair process, since I've heard so many horror stories about jewelry repairs elsewhere. I've had repairs done at another jewelry store before, and the process there took at least five times longer. The repair was completed quickly and professionally. They steamed the ring afterward, and although I chose to skip the buffing, my ring still came back looking fantastic. What impressed me most was that even though the store was extremely busy and I wasn't there to make a purchase, I never felt overlooked. Upon arrival we thought something bad happened because there were so many people inside but I guess they were just having a sale LOL They were so packed that there was a line to get in, the security guards were nice and friendly. Once we got in, someone offered us water and canned alcohol beverages. That was nice. The lady that helped us wasn't as friendly. She wasn't mean but I would've preferred that she was more engaged? She showed me rings that looked similar to what I wanted and was asking me all the right questions but my shopping experience here felt like going to a McDonald's rather than a fine dining restaurant if that makes any sense. Idk. The guy who was helping her gather all the rings that had similar styles was helpful. If you live in the area and you're fine with less personable service then this is your spot! Unfortunately, this place was not helpful at all and the staff were quite rude. They refuse to work with sterling silver or 14K gold-plated jewelry, and will only resize rings if they are solid gold. They wouldn't even attempt to help or suggest alternatives, and this policy is not clearly stated on their Yelp page. What made the experience worse was the attitude. Even though they sell lab-grown diamonds, if you're buying lab instead of natural, some employees are condescending and belittling about it, which is completely unacceptable. What's especially frustrating is that most jewelry stores -- even high-end ones -- routinely offer resizing services regardless of what they sell. In major jewelry markets like Los Angeles and especially New York, jewelers commonly resize all types of rings as a basic service. Being turned away entirely for something so standard felt unnecessary, dismissive, and honestly very bougie. The way this was handled was unprofessional and left a bad impression.
