The owner recommended this place. They had one suite available for our Sunday to Sunday stay and we took it. This suite has a second bedroom that we didn't need, but our bedroom is spacious, has a window mounted AC and the bathroom has a shower, not a tub. The bed is comfortable. There is no TV in this room, but we didn't miss it. Donnell is a gracious host as is her staff. Breakfasts are delicious and filling. There is adequate free parking. There are no door locks but there are surface bolts and the house is locked at night. There is no foot traffic or street parking and the site is quiet and secure. This is a charming place that we hope we can return to.

There is just too much wood going on here for my tastes. Hardwood floors and wood paneling! The prices are very reasonable here though so that is an important factor when shopping around for a reception hall.
