They are informative and flexible with scheduling appointments. I had braces as a child and can remember being in a lot of pain. Also, the appointments were very dull. Multiple BILLING ISSUES: I've been a patient at Atlanta West Dentistry for over five years…read more Initially, I was very pleased with their services the staff seemed professional, the reviews were great, and the dental work met my expectations. However, over time, I've encountered multiple ongoing billing issues that have ultimately led to my decision to leave this practice. One of the main issues involved overcharges of hundreds of dollars, primarily by front desk staff (specifically Hailey). These discrepancies were only corrected after I contested the charges using my Explanation of Benefits (EOB). While I appreciated that some credits were eventually applied to my account, these errors continued to occur raising serious concerns about accuracy and transparency. Even after addressing previous issues, the same pattern repeated. I strongly recommend that anyone receiving treatment here carefully review their EOBs and compare them to what they are being charged out-of-pocket. On one occasion, I was told I had fillings done on both tooth #2 and #5, yet I clearly remember work being done only on tooth #2. Despite voicing this, I was still billed for both. When I requested clarification, Robin attempted to explain the charges, but they still did not align with what was billed to my insurance provider. This experience has not only been frustrating but has also led me to question the integrity of some of the billing and treatment practices. It's deeply disappointing after years of being a loyal patient. As a result, I will no longer be returning to Atlanta West Dentistry, and I will be transferring the care of my entire family elsewhere. I'm also advising anyone I previously referred to this practice to check their billing statements closely or consider other options. I hope this review serves as a helpful warning for others to be vigilant and protect themselves from potential overcharges or miscommunication. The staff made her feel at ease and she took off to the patient waiting area with a smile. She returned about an hour later with an even bigger, bracey smile. During today's visit I had Dr. K and Brittany. Dr K was great per usual , his bedside manner is amazing and really like the fact that he tells me the progress he sees as well as what's next on my treatment plan. Brittany was awesome as well , she was friendly and I know she knows her stuff. She told me what we were going to do before she did it ( which I loved) and made sure I knew when to come back and what to do in the meantime. Extremely disappointed. Two years of treatment, and he never got my front teeth aligned…read more Let's start by mentioning that we have good dental insurance with Wellstar. We did invisiligners and metal, both partial, and even took two molars out before treatment. Aligners didn't come on time for 75% of the treatment. The last sets he didn't even do both (top and bottom), and I only received the top of the so-called final aligners. Then, we are required to pay for permanent braces after the teeth are not even fully aligned. We even paid extra for 2 propellers that were supposed to help, but I'm still waiting for my teeth to get aligned. And I was committed to the treatment. If you have good insurance, don't waste your time. He talks a big game but doesn't deliver. At least they had a payment plan and bilingual stuff, which I hope gets them well paid for the stuff they deal with.

The kids are comfortable, in addition to their parents, and I have seen a good deal of adults attending the practice as well. Billing was well explained and not rushed, many payment term options were available without interest charges. They even offered great referrals to dentists and doctors in the area if needed. Recently I was having trouble with the expander not lining up, and a phone call got me in (with a smile) to have someone correct and they sent me home with a new tool. Seriously cannot say enough about this practice, and that is with a nervous 7 year old who now loves going.
