I raised concerns multiple times about my daughter's cavity, and it was not handled with the urgency it clearly required. Now her condition has become severe--she has developed a cyst on her gum, and the tooth is badly damaged. This did not happen overnight. This was something that should have been addressed sooner. As a parent, it is extremely upsetting to see your child suffer when you trusted a provider to do their job. This experience has completely broken my trust in this office. I would not feel comfortable recommending this dentist to other parents. Please advocate for your child and consider getting a second opinion.

This guy is an unprofessional dentist & more importantly a CROOK. On my 7-year-old daughter's first…read morevisit yesterday, he tells my wife she needs to have 4 teeth pulled. Why on earth does a 7-year-old need teeth pulled that are going to naturally purge themselves from her mouth anyway? My child heard his unscrupulous recommendation and scared her to tears! Not only are his recommendations questionable, his conduct was very unprofessional as my wife shared with me he acted like he and my wife were best friends--I guess this was his attempt to woo her into trusting him. Furthermore, you are a REGULAR dentist dude--not an oral surgeon, not an orthodontist--a PLAIN OLD REGULAR dentist who probably graduated bottom of his class. What this fool doesn't know is, my daughter saw a highly credentialed orthodontist before coming to his office, & she didn't recommend teeth being pulled! Our son is ending his time with braces on and didn't have to have a single tooth pulled. In fact, this orthodontist recommended, "my daughter have some more teeth come out, and bring her back for a second evaluation." It seems he & his practice like to prey on Medicaid recipients. My assumption is, he doesn't think people on Medicaid are very bright. Stay far away from this unscrupulous piece of s--t. Just because somebody has letters in front of or behind their name or they brandish a degree on the wall of their office doesn't mean they're knowledgeable or trustworthy. Stay far away from this person. In my opinion, he needs his license revoked--he doesn't deserve to be called a doctor.

I am giving this office one star due to concerns regarding due diligence and billing integrity…read more After checking my daughter in for a routine cleaning, I was informed that there was a $51 balance remaining from her previous visit for a sealant. I explained that I had not been told at the prior appointment that the sealant was not covered by insurance. Because the receptionist was new, another staff member stepped in to assist. I was initially told that insurance companies sometimes list services as covered on their websites when they are not. I was then told the $51 was part of my deductible and that my insurance only covered 80% of the sealant. After receiving multiple explanations, I requested to review the actual paperwork to verify the information being provided. Once the paperwork was printed and reviewed, I was informed that the previous information was incorrect. It was clarified that the office is only permitted to bill my insurance a certain contracted amount, and the sealant was, in fact, covered. Had I not asked to see the documentation, I would have paid a balance that my insurance had already covered. Additionally, I never received a copy of the paperwork I requested. I strongly encourage parents and patients to review their billing statements carefully and request documentation when there are discrepancies. Transparency and accuracy in billing are essential, and patients should not have to advocate this hard to ensure they are being charged correctly.

We've previously gone…read moreto a specialized foundation for dental care for individuals with developmental disabilities because of my son who is on autism spectrum's extreme anxiety in going to such offices. At one point, he couldn't even sit in a chair without crying or screaming, so routine visits required sedation. Because of that, we limited visits to once a year to avoid putting him through sedation every six months. Fast forward to today--we decided to try a regular dental office. We prepared ahead of time with a private tour the week before, and I talked with him a lot so he knew what to expect. Today, he walked in independently, sat in the chair, completed X-rays, and even had his teeth cleaned--all without distress. And to top it off, he got a great report with no cavities! The staff was incredibly patient and compassionate. They took baby steps, explained everything to him, and made sure he felt comfortable the entire time. That approach made all the difference. Watching him reach this point truly warmed my heart. I'm beyond proud of how brave he was today. This experience reminded me that every child--especially those on the spectrum--will get there in their own time. And when they do, it's nothing short of amazing. So grateful for a team that made this possible!
