We came up with an etching of The Cubs baseball, that was his team. Over the next few months Donna kept in touch with me about the progress and design my siblings and I were looking for. Living in Florida the communications were all done by email. When the stone arrived we changed the design a bit and Donna being the artist that she is, was able to give us a perfect design that fit our Dads personality. In addition the process is very warm and welcoming. Arrive and walk into the cozy offices and you can get an idea of possibilities along with pricing. Then a walk right outside displays actual products so you can see and touch what you will be purchasing. Stacey works well with helping to select the best fit of product. Prices are very transparent and actually quite reasonable. In addition her office's design work occurs on the spot so you can see what your words will look like in various formats and styles and on different types of stone and polishes. She then provides snapshot samples printed then and there and also by email (and USPS mail). Payment was reasonable with 50% down payment and a very nominal delivery fee. The delivery was TO THE CEMETERY and IN THE GROUND along with removal of old marker. This was great bc it is an emotional action and also very physically demanding due to the stone weight. Lastly the old marker was remioved and transported back to the business. They cleaned and polished it for us to retrieve whenever is convenient. Our local one came in with the cheapest cremation costs. A friend recommended Casper and it was almost half the cost from what our family funeral home quoted us. That was with a discount as well! I called Casper about 2 months beforehand and they were very detailed and provided all the info that was needed. I had multiple phone calls with them and they were able to assist me even though I was in California. I mostly spoke with Jake and Colton during this process. When I arrived Saturday was the only day I could go down and we had a snowstorm the day prior. Roads were pretty bad and they were able to accommodate me even though they had a service going on.
