So surprised at how low of a rating they have! Have you people not tried the wings!?! They are fabulous! The mild, lemon pepper and BBQ wings are so delicious. Oh and I cannot forget about the BLTS!! The staff is always friendly and I really like the atmosphere to this place. It has a positive upbeat feel to it. It may not be the best location because it's literally on 23.. but that's the only "bad" thing I can say about this place. Can't wait to order from here again next week!!! read more

We went for dinner and drinks and to enjoy some karaoke last week. The bartenders were super friendly and engaged in conversation when they were able to. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak tots but because they were out of tots, we got Philly cheesesteak fries on their fresh cut fries. It was piled high!! It was extremely good!! We shared a steak sandwich which was cooked to perfection. The roll was fresh too which made it even better! Since going we haven't stopped thinking about those fries though! Called early afternoon to place pick up order. Music so loud we could barely hear each other. Walk in to bar and music is cranked to NYC club levels. Go to bar and the man behind the bar looks so disinterested. Have to yell in his ear im here for a pickup. He hands me my bag and receipt then turns away leaving me standing holding my credit card. A few minutes later he turns back to me to run card. All the while the music is BLARING. No smile, no thanks. Not feeling like i was welcome or appreciated or welcomed back. Get home, open food. Wife takes one bite of burger and says "this is not a home made burger ". She's not really a gourmet, but it's obvious frozen premade burger. Onion rings and disco fries are both pretty good. Portions were good for price. Just have to mention again how ridiculously loud the music was. read more

If you went when it was Jiggs, it's pretty much the same thing. Cleaned up dive bar. Service is still very good so an A+ to the new staff. The menu looks to be updated with a few new items like the absolute star of the night pizza from the new pizza oven. The wings called " same ole wings" imo are still bad. Please bring back the pre-covid wings!! Plump and juicy fried to perfection. The old wings are just tiny overcooked and sad. The sauces are still really good so give me a meaty wing and enough with the temu wings. So for now I'd say skip the wings and order a few pizzas. One last thing tater-tots hell-yeah! read more

Used to be a regular here back when it was Jiggs, so I was curious to check out the new spot. Came in during football and grabbed seats at the bar -- no wait, no crowd, just a chill vibe. Service was attentive and the drinks were solid. Food is where things need work though: the wings were small and pretty mediocre, which was a letdown. The bones of a great dive bar are all here -- good drinks, friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. Fix the food and this place could really be something special!!! read more

$19 for open faced pastrami on rye with Swiss. Maybe 5 slices of thinly sliced pastrami. No fries or chips. One of had the wings. Why would one change the famous Jiggs recipe? No more garlic bread. There are much better options and food in the area. read more

I went there for dinner. Chicken sandwich was burnt. I had a steak sandwich. There was no steak in half of the sandwich ordered wings, and then they had the nerve to charge us for celery and carrots, and then ordered cream sodas and a cup for them and then 1 inch down wasn't even filled up. Will not be going back there again. read more

Wife and i went last night for wings as we used to when it was Jiggs. The order came incorrect, I asked the waitress to correct it and she graciously bought them back to the kitchen to correct the order but when they came back they were WAY over cooked and inedible. I did not complain again and we paid our bill and left. The staff was lovely the wings were horrible... maybe a bad night, who knows. read more

I usually stop on Sundays to watch football and eat lunch, the wings here are phenomenal but the bar is so bright! The bartenders are amazing and personable and the moments where it gets busy they still give good service, just less conversation . Great place to watch sports as they just replaced to old TVs from the previous owner; they also now have live music again! As a butler resident I'm happy to have the location back up and running with a fresh coat of paint!!! read more

Duffy's Celtic Crossings is near our home and we wanted to check this place out, but after reading the bad reviews here we nearly changed our plans. Happily we did not. My wife and I went with "safe" choices on the menu because of the reviews. We ordered buffalo wings to share, I had a burger and she got the chicken quesadilla. The wings were perfect. Nice size, cooked crispy and the right amount of sauce. My burger came out and it was on a nice, warm, toasted Kaiser roll, burger was cooked medium, as ordered and the toppings were great. The french fries that came with it were the best I've had anywhere, in a very long time. They were the "natural cut" type, with bits of potato skin on them and they were cooked perfectly - crispy, not soggy with oil. My wife's quesadilla was generous in size, flavorful and cooked perfectly. I have one big complaint - with the Celtic themed bar, I was expecting a great pint of Guinness and I was instead greatly disappointed. It was poured into a standard shaker glass, no two-part pour, as per Guinness's requirement, and when served to me, the head had large bubbles (maybe due to bad gas mixture) and it was dripping down the side of the glass. It tasted OK so I drank it and didn't order another. The bar has Guinness signs decorating the place and I could see the old style tulip and newer gravity style imperial pint glasses on a shelf behind the bar! Disappointing. Well, at least my wife was happy with her wine. They have plenty of other good beers on tap so we'll be back. We were treated nicely, had good service and the food was very good. We'll be more adventurous next time. I'm curious to try their wood-fired pizza. I'll chase it with an IPA. read more

Food, terrible! Prime rib lowest quality, fatty, chewy meat in water. Vegetables not seasoned at all, broccoli yellow green probably a week old or frozen. Potato blaugh, just microwaved. Mussels were fat and chewy in a canned tomato sauce. Yuk!! Watched other food come out which didn't look appetizing....very disappointing as we live close by. Dissapointed in the bartenders and the food. The wings claim to be the same as the old jiggs but somehow they ruined the jiggs recipe. The bartenders are rude and slow, not sure why anyone would like come here and sit down for a beer or two and have nasty bartenders and crappy food. Disappointed in the new joint read more

Listen, I get that you're a newly renovated place with new ownership and fresh staff, but I shouldn't have to wait 40 minutes for bartenders to make eye contact with me. Story goes like this... I walked in at exactly 9pm on Wednesday, Nov. 5th and after 5 minutes or so of sitting at the bar, the woman bartender asked me what I wanted and I ordered my drink. That was normal. What followed for the next 50 minutes was a complete shutdown of any interaction from either bartender. Not even a "How are you doing over here?" "Do you want another drink?" "Would you like to see a menu?" Nothing. After a half an hour and wanting to see a menu, I saw the female bartender tending to other costumers while I was sipping what was left of my watered-down drink. I patiently waited for her to make eye contact with me, but again nothing. After no luck there... I turned to the other side of the bar to see the male bartender with his head in the computer screen. Looks like he was trying to figure out something. I swear he was there for 80-90% of the time I was there in that hour. Not sure what was so fascinating on that computer screen, but he couldn't get away from it. Finally he came over to ask the female bartender something and I managed to get his attention and ask for a menu. I then proceeded to wait another 10 to 15 minutes for either of them to ask me what I wanted, but at this point both of them had their heads in separate computer screens on either end of the bar. I kept looking back and forth at each one of them for one of them to raise their head even just slightly... but once again, nothing. Must have been something really interesting on those computers... guess I'll never know. Needless to say, I walked out. The only good part of the night was when I went home and made myself a grilled cheese and saved some money I was willing to spend at this place. read more
