Speaking with Dr. Lane, I was totally impressed. This is a very caring, compassionate, talented and intelligent person. Dr Lane even gave me his card with his personal cell number if there were any after hours concerns. The nurse provided me with a goodie bag which included ice cream, a blanket, extra gauze and a chapstick. Who does that? I was disappointed reading some of the other reviews here. All I can say is that it can be very expensive to have a complete set of teeth and many people are not so fortunate. Blaming the doctor is inappropriate.

I asked to talk to Dr. Meier before the extraction. He was reluctant and uncomfortable with my question, then he rushed me out of the room. As his caretaker, I never have problems talking to my brother's doctors. I only recently found out that this doctor also knocked out my brother's existing crown and had to glue it back in that day. My brother was afraid to tell me until just now. I can accept the crown dislodging as a normal accident and he fixed it with no issues. But given his discomfort with my question, then not telling me about the crown incident, I'm annoyed. Maybe he had an off day, but we will nonetheless request a different surgeon in the future.

I worked for half a day and all the patients I saw had moderate to severe periodontal disease and 1. the patients were not informed and 2. there was zero periodontal charting completed on the majority of his patients.
