Here are some examples: Changed a faucet that dripped for YEARS that I was told was not fixable. Not only was it not dripping but he closed up the rusty old hole and made the tile look like the hole was never there. Had the uuuugliest fluorescent light in the living room, like "Joe vs the volcano" level, he replaced it, made it look like it was just all a bad dream. He replaced and fixed the kitchen door so it was even with the floor, when the door would open it would get stuck because the floor was not even, so he did some mathematical engineering and got it to work. He stabilized the dried out wooden pergola over the patio with wood and new metal supports so it didn't have to be torn down, saved a lot of money. He was able to design and construct from scratch a gorgeous washer and dryer enclosure that replaced a UGLY UGLY termite eaten shed that disintegrated when you barely touched it, rusted nails coming out, doors falling off the hinges. Throughout the process, he was very communicative, asking questions that involved functional design, placement, aesthetics. Even matched the hardware to the fences, which really was supercool. He also replaced a variety of ceiling fans, ceiling lights, bathroom faucet, drain, lights, kitchen drains, electrical plugs, fix a fence, and problem solve regarding how to hide wires, electrical cords. Long story short, I would highly recommend Brandon for house repairs, fixes, and design problem solving. His work is very thorough, detail and quality oriented, and he is very professional and is really an expert at what he does.

Initially, communication was prompt until I paid the deposit. After a week or so my sister had to reach out to get the project scheduled. The start date was postponed twice by Marcus, and each delay came with a different explanation. After losing confidence that the project would move forward, I canceled the work and requested a refund of my deposit. Marcus agreed to refund the money, but the promised payment dates (multiple times) passed without the refund being sent. I continued to press him for my money. In one text exchange he stated he was out the money spent on materials he purchased but he would pay me. In reality what he had to purchase was negligible because my sister had all materials except maybe caulk. I told him to deduct whatever he spent in another attempt to get my money. This morning I received an invoice to pay the balance of the job that was never started! As of the date of this review, I am still waiting for the return of my deposit. Its unfortunate I had to post this but I hope this review helps others make an informed decision. If I ever receive my money I'll update this review to reflect it.

Re: We would like to respectfully clarify a few points in response to Greg's reply message…read more Per Greg's direction, we were told to reconnect near the end of our project--specifically after countertops, finished plumbing and appliances were installed--so finishing work could be completed. Our appliances were installed in early May 2025, and we reached out accordingly, again during the summer and subsequent attempts without response, and again in December prior to move-in. At that time, we were told the remaining work would take approximately 1-2 days to complete. We have made consistent efforts over the past year to schedule completion, with extensive documentation (emails, texts, and call logs) showing multiple follow-ups from our side. There have also been several periods where we did not receive responses for weeks at a time. The cabinetry was largely installed in April 2025, at which point approximately 95% of the contract amount was paid as requested. Despite this, the project itself is not 95% complete and remains unfinished. To clarify, there was not a "9 month disappearance" as stated. There was a brief 2-day delay in April due to unrelated home issues, after which communication resumed and has continued since. We have an email acknowledging this from Greg with an apology. We also provided Greg with our contractor's contact information to coordinate final plumbing connections related to appliance installation. We have messages confirming this. Any difficulty connecting was not due to lack of access or coordination on our end. In December, after multiple attempts to obtain a timeline, we were told the project could be completed at the end of February. That timeframe passed without completion, and we were not proactively informed of any change or date. We followed up again and were told Greg was significantly behind on other projects and unable to provide a timeline. We then sent a formal request via email and text for a confirmed completion date and did not receive a response. At this point, several months have passed without a confirmed completion date for a project that has been largely paid for, which has been difficult to manage from a homeowner perspective. We have documentation of all communication and are happy to provide it for transparency if needed. Additionally, Greg is currently still in possession of some of our shelving, cabinet panels, doors, and mesh drawer components that we purchased. As of today, the remaining items include, but are not limited to: * Missing cabinet doors * Appliance panel installation * Mesh vegetable drawers * Missing and incomplete shelving (kitchen and living room nook, as well as inside cabinets) * Crown molding installation * Correction of uneven cabinet reveals (including at the island as shown in picture below) * Shelf edge banding/finishing showing exposed plywood and mismatched color * Visible gaps between cabinets and walls * Missing knobs and handles * Cabinet paint and stain touch-ups These items were expected to be completed to achieve the custom cabinetry finish that was discussed. We have photo documentation of these outstanding items. Throughout this process, we have remained professional and patient in our communication. All correspondence has been respectful and documented. We have made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve this directly, but to date have not received a confirmed plan, response to our formal messages, email or date for completion. Our goal has always been to complete the project professionally and bring it to a close. We have waiting patiently for months and still remain open to resolving this, but we do need clear communication and a confirmed plan and date to finish the work.

The only other business that replied said he'd get back to me with a quote but never replied to two followup calls and multiple text messages With Sam, I only had need for several phone calls. One was to set up a visit to discuss what I wanted. The other call was to let me know that the desktop was ready. And the final cause was to finalize pickup since I missed his call. I asked for a 70" wide custom desktop to go on top of IKEA Alex drawers. Sam got all the measurements and finish perfect. He also suggested rounding the edges which really helped with comfort of use and not hurting my forearms with sharp edges while working. I'm really glad I Robinsons Woodworking came through. This is a valuable investment that I'm sure will last me a long time, and Sam is great with suggestions and communication. No qualms here!

I've been meaning to write my experience with Robinsons Woodworking for a while now…read more I had sent Sam a photo of a bathroom vanity I saw and liked as inspiration for my new bathroom remodel. Upon viewing it, he asked for dimensions and gave me a price. I gave the go ahead and left a deposit. A week or so went by and I called him and asked how it was going and if I could stop by and see it. I get there and he had the frame built out and it didn't look like the photo at all. I expressed my dissatisfaction and he then went over the details or my expectations better and he said he would raise it 6 inches to 36 inches as I am tall. He charged me $375 for this error of his and called it a prototype on the receipt. With the first cabinet not looking like the photo at all.... I was anticipating seeing the redo. I called and he was short/rude with me on the phone and later apologized. Fast forward to the vanity being pretty much completed minus the hardware. He was having an issue sourcing the slides for the drawers. They deliver the vanity.... and it's Sam and a helper. He has the vanity the wrong way in the hallway and trys to force it in the doorway, and damages the lower front moulding. He doesn't say anything, but puts forever soft putty on it that quickly comes out and the damage is prevalent. (Who does this with a custom and expensive piece?!) He says he will try something else.... Meanwhile, the two doors on the vanity are cut wrong.... Way too short so you see a big gap. He redoes the doors and now they're too large and hit with no way to adjust for the mis-measurement. The wood panel above the doors is twisting and has gaps..... It was just a bad experience on so many levels. I will never go back or recommend him. I should have just ordered something from China, but thought I would get a better product from the local guy. I spent over $2700, for crap. Oh on the last day he was at the house, all he cared about was getting his final check and had zero intention of taking care of the damaged vanity from his carelessness, and was done with it.

Inland doors says not warranted and won't replace. I believe that it could be from a manufacturer defect of not sealing these doors from the top to the bottom when painted. Installed on May 19, 26. Damage showing on June 18th. I can't believe within a month's time something like that could happen.

I had no idea he would be a complete no-show and NOT show up. Not only a no-show, but no phone call, no explanation no nothing. What's even crazier, it was just 24 hours before April 14,, that one of his employees or partners named Andreas called just to tell me how excited he was to install my kitchen and that I had nothing to worry about they would be there and get it done. I have to be in my brand new home by May 31 st. So I begin to call around kitchen cabinet/kitchen installers all over Riverside County the Inland Empire and beyond. Every place told me that it would take it at least six weeks just to order the materials to make my kitchen counters and cabinets, and then I would have to find a date they were available to install the kitchen. After literally about 14 phone calls, I found Summit Cabniets! By a stroke of good luck , they had just had a cancellation but the owner said it was still going to be difficult to try to fit me in, but he would do his very best to accommodate my timeline. Anyone who knows me, knows that I can be redundant, part of that comes from the career I am in, because redundancy can often save a life! The phone rep Morris, and the owner of Summit cabinets didn't judge my emotional phone call, he just sat and did what very few people can do any more who are in business or selling products..... he listened compassionately. I think a lot contractors and building vendors forget that, though it may just be another project for them, it is a huge emotional and complex process for the homebuyer! Especially when it's someone like me who has saved and dreamed to build my own custom home. Vendors in the construction industry can become callous. This certainly was not the case with Summit Cabniets. Corona is not just a hop skip and a jump away from where I live in Cathedral City, However, before I could even get to his showroom in Corona, he had already been to my home, taking measurements, looked over my previous designs, the blueprints of my house, and had a fully designed kitchen, waiting for me when I arrived at the showroom. His budget was very fair only costing me a little bit more than the other company that completely ghosted me on the day of Install and still hasn't explained to me what happened. All I can say is , THANK GOD for Summit Cabniets. The showroom is awesome and professionally displays your many options for building a kitchen, he assisted me in picking out modern hardware for my kitchen, and he is the first person to understand the type of island I wanted built. The other company said it was impossible to build that type of island. I knew that simply wasn't true . Within moments, Summit produced a set of plans with the kitchen island, cabinets and counters that I dreamed about since I've been saving up for this beautiful home over 20 years ago! His calm, nonjudgmental, customer first attitude , and willing to listen to my dreary long story, was healing and exactly what I needed. It was also comforting to hear the warehouse attached to the showroom where I could hear construction of cabinets and kitchen countertops being constructed . The owner of Summit cabinets produced a very clear, itemized contract, and gave me his word both in paper and on video and to me personally that my kitchen will be completely installed by May 1 if not earlier. And the fact that the owner is also a general contractor, gives me even that much more peace. Im lucky to have a wonderful, and incredibly talented general contractor through a company called LEVEL UP construction. They have built me a perfect home exactly as I dreamed. And now thanks to Summit, I'll have the kitchen to go along with it! Had the owner of Summit not been able to do what he did, there is a very good chance I would not have a place to live after May 31st. My wonderful general contractor at LEVEL UP construction has almost completed the home, but the kitchen was one of the couple major things still needed so we can get our permit to move in. I will update this review once the kitchen is finished!!! But so far I am very impressed, and look forward to the finished product!

I chose the stone myself, and they picked it up from the supplier and help me measure the sink. They have a special truck to transport these heavy slabs, which made everything so easy. The countertop installation was completed in one day. Then, on Wednesday, the tile professional came for the backsplash and finished by Friday. The craftsmanship was excellent; neat, detailed, and truly professional. I'm real happy with both jobs and would highly recommend them!

Cyrus, the owner, was amazing from the very first day. He walked through my kitchen, discussed the remodeling possibilities, and carefully explained all my options. He was extremely patient with me -- and believe me, I am very picky and a perfectionist. He asked for my wish list and promised that anything within city codes would be delivered -- and boy, did he deliver!
