We saw Redmond's right across the street with a sign that said "We Rent Vans" so we walked in. We were able to rent a clean, comfortable 8-passenger van on the spot, at LESS THAN 1/3 THE PRICE OF THE ENTERPRISE VAN! We couldn't believe our good fortune. We parked our own vehicle on their lot, and mentioned that the lock on the trunk wasn't working properly. When we returned the van 8 hours later, the lock was fixed at no charge. All the people we spoke with were kind, courteous and could not have been more helpful. We will use them often!

Today I picked up my van and before leaving I noticed the brake light was on in addition to the ABS light. Bill, the owner told me that all he did was take the van for a ride this morning and didn't feel anything out of the ordinary. He said the ABS light could be on for any number of reasons. After I brought the brake light matter to his attention he said that it may be tied to the ABS light issue. But I came to Redmond's without a brake light issue. Bill said that he didn't do anything to it but drive it and put it on the stand to look at the wheel bearings. "That's the bottom line", he said. Fine, I drove off and now my steering vibrates when I make a right turn. That didn't happen before I visited Redmond's. Think twice about this place! No customer satisfaction here. Save your money.

My exhaust pipe was falling off and dragging under my car for a day or two, and when the…read moredragging/scraping was more than I could handle, I called these guys up. They said to bring my car right in, and within 5 minutes of arriving, they had my car in the shop. I had told the gentleman at the desk that I didn't get paid until the next day and wouldn't be able to afford any big fixes today. He understood and went to take a look at my car. There was no muffler, and the exhaust all the way up to the catalytic converter needed replacing, at over $400. He handed me the quote, and said that they removed the part of the exhaust that was dragging and put a bracket on what was left to keep it in place until repairs could be made. When I asked how much it cost for that much, he said 'absolutely nothing. We did it out of the kindness of our hearts." What began as a stressful morning turned into a Godsend. I will be returning to get my car repaired once I've got the money. I trust these guys and appreciate the kindness they showed me.

I brought my vehicle to Higher Standards Automotive after hitting a pothole that caused a noise on…read morethe right front suspension. I made it clear the issue was on the right side, but they diagnosed the left strut as the problem and told me it was a safety concern. Based on their advice, I approved all repairs. Despite noting it was our only vehicle, they never contacted us when it was ready. On the drive home, the right strut (the side I had originally reported) failed, causing more damage and put my wife, children, and others at risk. When we returned, they admitted the right strut was unsafe but only offered to fix it at full cost again. The invoice also showed a deferred repair that was never mentioned to me. Other issues included: - Car left unlocked with a dead battery at pickup. - Owner admitted being "too busy to document things." - I was signed up for XM promotions without consent. - Staff gave inconsistent explanations of the damage. This experience was a financial and personal hardship. I sold my motorcycle to cover the first repair, only to have the same problem get worse. I left feeling misled, unsafe, and dismissed. Between the misdiagnosis, poor communication, and lack of accountability, I cannot recommend this shop to anyone.

Turned out picked up the 28 th called them the night before. Get there van won't start can't find keys and motor hood in car not on. 5 hours later they get running. Todd even took the time to explain the leak and show me the problem gaskets. The shop is very clean and the team is very friendly. Todd is also a Jeep Wrangler owner so now I know who I will come back to in the future in Midland. They offer warranty on their work and parts also.
